I always use tire rack… best place for research, availability and pricing.

Decent selection of tires and wheels. I wish they had a selection of plain steel wheels. Overall pleased with the site and information on tires. Could use more details on the wheels. UPS delivery tracking not that great. If I knew when they were coming I could have opened my garage door for them to deposit the tires rather than leaving them at my front door and then I have to move them to the garage.

Kinda clunky entering Credit Card info…might be cool if the delivery zip code featured into the recommended tires (i. E. northern zip codes = better snow traction, southeastern = better water traction, western = better heat tolerance, etc. somewhat disappointed that not all tires have a complete set of ratings …speed/wear/ traction, etc.

Had what I needed delivered and even put them inside my porch vs just leaving them outside to get stolen

It turns out my 2020 Ford Explorer ST has very special tires. I only needed one and the Ford dealer didn't have it listed as existing (but figured out they could order it), nor did my favorite local repair shop. Tire Rack had the tire in stock (they have several warehouses). When I ordered it, Charlie from Tire Rack called and explained that the one I ordered was Version 2 while the ones on my vehicle are Version 1. He explained the differences and said V2 would work, but I changed my order to V1. I ended up ordering 2 tires as recommended by my local repair shop (had 18k on the originals, so now two new and two old). The tires on this vehicle are very expensive (ouch!) and they do not seem to be very main stream. I saved $112 per tire compared to the Ford dealer price (they quoted $442 per tire).

I drove over nails in my new EV car which required special tires. After finding that tire which is out of stock pretty much everywhere else. Right after a simple and flawless order process, somebody called me directly to explain the slight difference in those which I ordered from the OEM tire. After confirming with the manufacturer they worked, the order was shipped and arrived the next day.
