Had piece of metal ruin other tire, running on space saver spare, needed asap. Did not refer to FAQ's about Road Hazzard Warranty. Knew the tire needed replacement and Tire Rack got the purchase and delivery part done perfectly. New tire was delivered to repair facility. I dropped off tire, had it replaced and I reinstalled it myself. Took a picture of metal in tire, took picture of tire s/n., had original tire installation paperwork as well as new installation paperwork, asked repair facility manager to confirm tire was irreparable, which it was, and then called warranty representative to find out how to submit all this info and got a" that is not how you do it " response (in a nice way) and then call ended. Called someone else and was told I needed prior authorization to make a determination if a replacement was necessary. So, I am supposed to ride around on an emergency spare and wait for someone in another state to make a decision during office hours? I think I made the right choice to just order a new tire. Was probably going to get a store credit so I could purchase another tire anyway. I am now driving around safely on a new Vredestein tire instead of jumping through hoops. Which I do like these tires, by the way.
