Love their clothes, usually reasonably priced, but then you buy something online from them and a week later they tell you one of your items is out of stock. This has happened to me three times. Like really is it that hard to keep your site and inventory updated? Guess ill just go to the store from now on

$#*! this website, its the worst. I tried ordering something and it said my card didnt go through and it told me to try again. I tried like about 7-8 times and it charged me those 7-8 times even though it didnt take my order!

Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. If you want Christmas presents you better order in in July. I ordered on Dec 7th it's now the 17th it was suppose to be here today, it's in Mississippi and I am in Georgia. I have ordered clothes from a store in England and got them faster. Never again.

WORST SHIPPING EVER!
My order shipped on December 2nd. FedEx tracking said it would be delivered by the 5th. I checked the site again on the fourth and it said it was in Oregon (I'm in Washington). I checked it again the next morning and it was all the way in MINNESOTA. It was four hours from me and all of a sudden it ended up 1,400 miles away. Then, it said it wouldn't be delivered until the 12th. I check it now, and it says it wont be until the 13th! This is ridiculous. HORRIBLE customer service, also. They were no help WHATSOEVER.

Worst website ever! Bad costumer service, I had to finally call to place order since never could get site to work and took forever to get someone to answer the phone anyway the guy told me both items I wanted were in stock and then a day or two later got an email saying that one of them was out of stock I definately don't recommend ordering from this website is a complete waste of time!

Worst costumer service ever, and they don't seem to care about that. Thank GOD they canceled my order (for no reason and out of nowhere, probably none of the items I wanted wass in stock...) Shame I didnt read the reviews first. I'd rather pay full price then EVER ordering here again. Also a very bad website that does not work AT ALL.

When will I learn? I actually like tilly's clothes and want to shop there, however how long it takes me to get my stuff is ridiculous!

I live in MD & the time it takes me to get my stuff is usually anywhere from two weeks to a month! The first time I ordered it took a month something about a wild fire? The second time I ordered it took so long I actually forgot that I had ordered something. And this last (& final time) I went to the store in arundel mills so I wouldn't have to wait, but go figure they didn't have my size so they offered to ship it for free to my house.

Here we are over a week out and I still haven't received my stuff! I online shop all the time & tilly's is by far the worst!

Don't order from this site. $#*! customer service and $#*! glitchy website. A majority of your order will be out of stock and whatever's left will be shipped without your approval while they dont have 90% of it! Thanks! Didn't even tell me how much it came out to after they e-mail me that 9 of my 11 items are out of stock. Would give 0 stars if i could. Glad to see others are just as fed up, because this really is ridiculous

TILLYS.COM HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST SITE I HVVE EVER ORDERED ANYTHING OFFLINE FROM. ORDERED TWO ITEMS AND THEY BOTH ENDED UP BEING OUT OF STOCK BUT I WAS NOT NOTICED UNTIL I CALLED A WEEK LATER TO ASK, PLUS I ORDERED DIRECTLY THROUGH A CALL AND ASKED TO MAKE SURE THE ITEM WAS NOT OUT OF STOCK SO THE SAME PROBLEM WOULD NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. THEY DID NOT SHOW ME ANY SYMPATHY. MY CARDS WERE CHARGED

They charged me twice when I only got 1 confirmation email. Also tacked on a cute little $12 shipping fee when shipping was supposed to be free.
Emailed immediately and they refused to cancel my order.
On to disputing the payment with my credit card company!

Tilly's customer service is the absolute WORST in the apparel industry. First, they hardly ever pick up the customer service line. Monday morning or Friday afternoon you get the same lies "We are experiencing a heavy call volume". Hire more people and fix your problem!

I had an employee place an order in store July 14,10 miles from their warehouse. Got confirmation, then a second email on July 15: There are inconsistencies with the information you entered during check out. (Remember, I didn't enter anything, store employee did). I call, and wait, and wait, nobody picks up. I send an email explaining. Their response, please call our 800 line. The one that they make you wait for how long? I call back at 8 AM and yes, heavy call volume. I wait and wait, finally 32 minutes a CS rep tells me she sees nothing wrong with the order. "I will send it to shipping". Today, over 4 days after ordering, the order is still "processing". My emails have been ignored.
I was so mad, I cancelled the order. Next time I am going to HSS or Jacks or some other surf shop or order directly from Quiksilver or Roxy because their CS is awesome and they offer free shipping. Done with Tillys for good.

They have to be the absolute WORST site I have ever ordered from! I got about 20 items in my cart, when I went to check out I put in my customer info and it wouldn't accept my address... when talking to their help desk they said to sign in as a guest when I did that I lost the entire order and had to start all over... When I finally got the order ready I hit submit and it said the order didn't work... I had to do it AGAIN! When I checked my account the had charged me TWICE! It took me 3 days of calling to finally get a hold of a person who was able to cancel the 1st charge. When they shipped my items they said that 3 were on back order and they don't re-send so I wouldn't be getting those 3 items... They still charged me for them! Tried calling all week to get the order charge fixed and no answer or call back. I went into the store and the guy that worked there couldn't get anyone on the phone for over an hour! Finally they said they would ship me a gift card for the difference! THE WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE of my life! Which is too bad because I happen to like their clothes! BAD JOB TILLYS!

Worst Customer Service EVER
I was on hold for 35 minutes and nobody picked up. I called corporate about the problem about how I ordered this product but it was too small (Medium) so I exchanged it for a larger version (Large) of the same item with a different color (They ran out in that size that why it's different colors). I now got the larger jacket already in my house and when I called their customer service a month ago I ask when my old item will be shipped in the store, they told me it will be in the warehouse on the 9th of June and I get my money back on the 15th of JUNE, It was July 17th over a month. I was told because it was a sale item, it was non-returnable but it was an exchange and the website allows for exchanges on sale items. The representative said quote "it was too confusing" (and could had easily called me back because the order number does come with my address and other information about me) and without my consent they converted my refund, MY MONEY into a gift card that I had not received yet. He said I'll get it next week but overall I waited for over 4 weeks just to hear I'll have to wait an extra week for not a refund but a gift card. So in a way the money comes back to them. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

By far this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Yesterday I went to order three items from your website. I payed with my paypal account and it was the strangest thing... The payment displayed the correct amount then after it had gone through the payment amount changed! All of a sudden the confirmation showed I had only bought one item and that I was charged $8 for shipping! I immediately called the "customer service" line ( Im pretty sure they don't have a single person there to answer it at any time of the day) and sat on hold for a half hour until I gave up and tried emailing to cancel the order. I sent the email thinking someone would see it and intercept the order so I reordered the item along with the two other items I was originally supposed to get. I then tried calling and emailing a bunch of other times with no luck. Eventually I received an email with no real apology that basically just said they sent it out regardless of my emails and phone calls and that I could return it if I wanted... So now I am stuck with two fedoras, having to pay $8 shipping and then $7 for return shipping... SO RIDICULOUS! Needless to say I will never buy another thing from Tilly's.

Seems like lots of people here are getting hit with a "hidden" (or at least hard to find) shipping fee. Then the company won't cancel the transaction. Talk to your credit card company and do a chargeback on it!

Ordered a pair of shorts for $40 three weeks ago and haven't seen or heard anything about them yet. I tried calling the customer service line and it said all lines were busy so i left a voice mail and they said they'd call me back within 48 hours and haven't heard a damn thing from them and that was over a week ago now. Bull$#*!

Absolutely the WORST customer service! Ordered an adorable purse online last night and added a dress to my cart because they had a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale going on. $20 for a $40+ dress? Cool. Well, sure enough I get an email from Tilly's this morning saying they no longer have the purse I want. No backorder offer or anything. Bummer. Well, this is the kicker - Instead of asking me what I want to do / if they can replace it with another similar item, they delete the item from my order - which makes the dress go back up to full price. Then, (and here's the REAL kicker) - within a minute of that email (before I have time to even react), I get a shipping notification that the dress has been sent & my credit card on file has been charged the full price. WHAT?! I didn't even want that dress - let alone at full price. If I knew they didn't have my purse in stock I would have never ordered the dress. Which brings me to another point - A good website wouldn't have let me put the purse in my cart and check out in the first place! Absolutely crazy. Ever heard of real-time availability? Update your damn system. Anyways, I decide to email Tilly's back about how upset I am and see what they can do. They tell me to call their toll free #. How personal. I get over it and call the toll free #. The lady says there's nothing they can do; it's already been shipped. BUT I am free to travel out of my way to one of their stores to return it when I get it (wow, what a nice offer) OR I can mail it back as a return (of course, at my own expense; doesn't even offer to cover it). When I ask her why they didn't call me or at least give me time to respond as to whether or not I still want the dress still, she said that they don't have time to make personal phone calls or write personal emails. "That would take too long." Wow. What a terrible website & what terrible customer service. Truly disappointed.

Placed an order for 3.99 shoelaces and didnt see anywhere that the shipping was 20.95 until after i hit pay by paypal and it said thank you for your oder of 24.95 we immediately emailed them to cancel the order that we were unaware of the shipping costs and do not want the item. They emailed us at 6am that it was too late to cancel it had been processed. We called and learned that it supposedly shipped at 9am west coast time 12noon east coast 6 hours after they said it was processed. I said nowhere did it show the charge you were charging and would agree to pay the regular shipping fee they refused and also informed me it wouldnt arrive until tues because of memorial day.we ordered thursday 4:00 west coast time, never order from this site again!

Bought an item an elected the free shipping, which was promised to arrive within 8-10 days. I've been waiting for over 3 weeks. I emailed them to complain, and all they did was send a Fed Ex tracking number, which I already had. Tilly's never bothered to apologize or explain the abysmally slow shipping. I will never order from Tilly's again.
