Ordered tickets for what I thought was the correct date. When I received the email they were for the day prior. Tried to contact immediately and correct. They would only offer me $30 credit for $300 worth of baseball tickets for a game I couldn't attend. Filed fraud charges with my bank... I'll never use them again.
I'm writing on behalf of my 70-year-old mother who purchased 4 tickets to the American Ballet Theater production of Swan Lake through ticketoffices.com. At checkout, there were only two additional charges... a UPS charge and a tax. When she received the confirmation of purchase there was an additional service charge of an additional outrageous fee per ticket.
She and I both tried to speak with someone in the support office and with great difficulty, was only able to do so when we tried to purchase a ticket a new. The woman said she could not help but would connect me to customer service. There was only a recording and I was unable to speak with anyone. Had I seen the service charge before purchase, I, of course, would not have bought these tickets. Please be advised to never use this fraudulent company.
Scammers! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I bought 2 tickets for fckn $400! Thinking that's what their worth, NOPE they are worth $50 each. They charged $150 more than what the ticket is worth! Their reason? "Livemarket" bs. I am fully capable to understand you gotta make a fckn profit, but where is the line between making money and ripping people off? They wont do nothing. I'm fckd and screwed. Oh and fyi the VIP tickets are $150 each, so I paid $50 more than a VIP ticket for basic seats? Lol unreal. I emailed & live chatted and they wont do $#*!. Other sites put limits to how much someone can charge over the value of an actual ticket. I'm the dumbass to think they weren't a scam. And now I'm broke. Fml.
They sold me 100 dollar tickets PLUS service fees to a band playing at a bar for 28 bucks. What should have been a 60$ bill somehow became 275! Wtf this business is evil.
No help, no resolutions, not 100% guaranteed. Will never purchase from this site again and discourage other from doing so. Bad business!
This has to be the worst place i have ever purchased tickets. Not only did I not receive my tickets but they wouldn't even refund my money. They said they couldn't refund as the seller wouldn't refund them. I ordered the tickets from them in October and the event was in April. Should have been a no brainer to get the tickets in 6 months but at the time of the event they still couldn't produce the tickets. So not only did I pay almost double for the tickets due to the extremely high price and ridiculous service fees but I never got my tickets. This place is a serious rip off and I will go out of my way to never do business with them at any cost. They are thieves.
We purchased tickets to Disney on Ice. We have been to the venue before and knew where we wanted to sit
I made the mistake of not printing my ticket till the day of the show
First time I realized something was wrong was that my name wasn't on the ticket.
Second, the cost pet ticket was $20, we had paid 36 per ticket
Third, we got to the venue and our seats were not where we had anticipated
I called ticketoffices.com and was in voice mail loop
Finally I did a live chat only to be told too bad, they are a resale service
Total SCAM - Charge way over face value, deceptive shady tactics. DO NOT USE this company. They sent me my ticket via email and it is not issued to me - the venue said they will not accept a ticket issued to someone else. They will not refund me.
My credit card company is disputing the charge and I am contact BBB
I was extremely disappointed in my experience. I paid well over twice the ticket cost for less than premium seating. When I took the time to look at the actual venue website I could have gotten better seats for more than half the cost. I was offended that the price I paid gave them room to give me average seating. They could of at least given me better seating options at the price. Never again. Expensive lesson learned.
Purchased two $77 tickets online to discover that after I placed the order, was charged $200! I had to contacted customer service via chat (because no human being answered the #844 number) to discover the ridiculous processing fee. I then tried to cancel via chat and was told that because I had checked the box, Terms and Conditions (in faint font) I therefore had agreed to their no refund / final sale policy. There is NO-transparency and NO customer service. DO NOT USE TICKETOFFICES.COM, you will regret it.
I used ticket offices for a outdoor venue in Saint Pete Florida and was charged a $166 for 2 tickets.
Come to find out from the actual venue website the tickets are worth 20 dollars! Then refused to help us when we questioned them. Supervisor's name ebony
I was sold tickets at an outrageous mark up and then when I got to the event the tickets were already used and I had to purchase more at the door and pay a premium since the event was sold out. SCAM do not waste your money. Currently dealing with getting refunded, reporting to the BBB and their terrible customer service.
They sold me tickets for a Canadian show by a Canadian company in a Canadian Sony Center in US dollars! I've been charged 80 dollars more and I would NEVER assume such situation is even possible.
These guys charge huge mark-up on concert tickets. Purchased two, $100 tickets and paid $265. They have a strict no-return, no-exchange policy. Their customer phone line is loaded with pre-recorded answers --- it's difficult to get to a human, and when you do, they're of no help. STAY AWAY!
I bought tickets from here thinking they were the official ticket sellers for the fox theater. WRONG! I bought 2 tickets for $137 each for rows A-V. I got row O... row O tickets are worth $99.00 on their website. I found the REAL official ticket sellers for the Fabulous Fox (MetroTix) and their row O tickets were $58.00! Called and couldn't get ANY of my money back. DO NOT USE THIS! I lost HUNDREDS of dollars!
I went to purchase tickets for a show at Kings Theatre in BK, NY. I mistakenly was pulled to this website thinking I was on the site of the venue. I bought 2 tickets, which I later found out we 115% higher than tickets STILL AVAILABLE for the show. Then, there was a $100 service fee which was not clear at the time of purchase. Can't get anyone one the phone, can't refund the tickets, stuck. They claim they are a market place but that is total BS. I only hope now that the tickets DON'T come through and I can get my money back. What a fantastic business model!
Purchased tickets that turned out to be invalid. Tried to work with customer service'. They told me they couldn't help me and that all sales were final and no refunds. They definitely did not stand by their 100% guarantee advertised on website. One representative told me they would call me back after investigating issues with tickets. No one called back. I called two days later and reached a representative who said he wouldn't help me. I asked to speak to supervisor who said the same thing. I would go so far as to say he was laughing at repeating himself when telling for the 20th time that I would have to contact a different ticket outlet for help -although they also could not help since they had no order information or payment information since that was done through ticket offices.com. Beware of this company-you may regret your purchase.
I went on the what looked like a local BOK center site to buy 2 tickets to a concert. I chose the option for 2 tickets to sit together and chose the area that I could afford. The price was $264 for 2 tickets. SO I decided to get them. Once I used my paypal to purchase I checked my email for confirmation and saw the price tag of $688.89. I tried to cancel immediately but there was no way to contact a live person. I tried for 2.5 hours. I called every combination of numbers they had each on led to a voice direction and never allows you to speak to a person. I filed a complai nt with the FCC and opened a fraud inquiry with Paypal.
Ordered two tickets for $68 each for a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game. Got my bill and there was a $39.95 service fee from this site. I would NEVER order tickets with that kind of fee and will never use them again. In addition, they charge a $6.95 delivery fee and these were e-tickets sent to my phone. The catch is that they were purchased through the team's website and ticketing office and were mixed in with other available tickets from different sources. This is a scam and buyer's need to be aware, if they see this site is handling the transaction.
I ordered tickets for 110 and was charged almost 72 dollars in fees that were not itemized in final billing OR the receipt. When I called they said its the only way they make their money. Ridiculous. Would NEVER use this site again.
