I spent half hour entering all my info and submitted it and it only brought back two insurance companies. When I try to go into see the quotes they force me to enter all the info again. Site reerks of advertising and steering you to the insurance company's that pay zebra to 'get' you. Missing was the half dozen other insurance companies that also should have quotes. Horrid experience.

We partner with 200+ companies equally and are not bi ased toward a particular set. The ones we show you are the ones we think are worth taking the time to look at. The big-name carriers though, prefer for you to see and respond to the quote directly on their website. We understand that it is frustrating and an extra step, but we want to ensure you that it is legitimate and safe. Their commercials say don't over pay, but the company's their associated with are higher than the one I'm with.

Doesn't let you choose your coverages so you can't really compare to your current policy.No glass coverage or lower deductible. Site is basically useless just a waste of my time

Lisa was incredibly helpful after having a horrible experience with an insurance company I had been a customer of for over 15 years. The process was quick, painless, and saving me lots of money as my monthly payment was cut in half! Lisa was very informative and explained everything clearly.

They ask all information but that is no problem, once you click results 5 insurance companies pop up. Once you click on them they just restart you from the beginning, no quote just answering the same questions. Some ins companies didn't have the capability to give quotes to bundle after I clicked on them?!

Some of the bigger name companies prefer for you to buy the policy on their respective website, so you will be re-directed to their site. It collected info for auto insurance quote and just redirected me to the Auto insurance providers. Where, I have to fill again all these details to get quote. Basically Zebra collected my info and did nothing.

Total waste of time - they jsut steal your personal info and do not offer any quotes. See screenshots attached. They just get paid to redirect you to the home page of random insurers. WIDE BERTH

Unlike other competitors, we are not lead generation and do not sell your information. We stopped asking for a phone number back in 2019 as an offer of goodwill towards our custo mers. In terms of quotes, we do offer quotes, but some of the bigger name companies still prefer for you to buy the policy on their respective website, which is an inefficiency we are currently resolving, but we can assure you that it is not random and is entirely safe. I was looking for homeowners insurance for my daughter. I had tried EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY, with no luck. I FINALLY tried The Zebra! Their representative was courteous, intelligent, and went above and beyond to find her a policy that fit her needs. I wish I'd tried them first - I would have saved HOURS of aggravation and stress!
I have been insured with another company for a while and it was breaking me every month. I called the Zebra through my Chime app and now I pay a fraction of the cost and better coverage and I have extras that I didn't have with the other company.So far so good!

Saw the TV ads for thezebra.com service, and thought I'd use it to compare insurance rates. A waste of time! It asks you to enter everything (intelligent websites automatically get details such as the year the house is built once you enter the address) and in the end, it gives you INCORRECT information. The quotes are WAY higher than if you get the quote DIRECTLY from the insurance company that thezebra.com results show. Moreover, thezebra.com provides only a couple of quotes. Once you click on the links of the insurance companies listed in the results, you must start entering the info from the very beginning. The user interface is also glitchy, and if you try to go back to the previous entry, or edit the info, it doesn't work. The email thezebra.com sends is equally useless and a waste of resources (time, network bandwidth, etc) as illustrated by the attached screenshot.

Absolutely great customer service. Knowledgeable, friendly and went the extra mile to find us a new and better deal for our auto/home insurance bundle - for hundreds less... had no idea such HUGE savings were out there with another company!

I don't know if Steven will ever see this, but his service was phenomenal. He was patient with me in reviewing various options. Though I had a company in mind when I called, he still took the time to check for lower offers on my behalf. Very thorough and confident in explaining the policy coverage. In total, the call did take about an hour, but it didn't feel like it! (I only knew after ending the call.) It was a stressless process. Though he did have to put me on hold a couple of times, he'd check back at good intervals to keep me updated on the process. Added bonus, I got an amazing deal on car insurance! My current policy is about $100 less expensive than my previous.

Answer: The BBB does not consider them to be in accredited company they have received 11 complaints to the Better Business Bureau just in the last 12 months. Many complaints were involved in customer service was terrible cannot recommend them here and if zebra is then obviously they probably get paid every time someone signs up so they just do it and assured him that I got a good deal it's despicable

In fact, we stopped asking for a phone number to use our service back in 2019 since it was such a major pain point for customers.
