Lost my Tori Burch rattan clutch 2years ago. So sad! Left it at a party, it never returned! Finally found the replacement on Real real. It is not the white patent leather, but exactly the same in the saddle color! Love it! So happy with my purchase. Great condition, easy purchase shipped lovingly. Thank you

I've bought a few items from the site and each has arrived as described in the listing. I do wish that there were more photos of items, especially when its listed there are discolorations, snags, etc. But overall I love looking for new items on the site, which has great prices, and my "loves" list keeps growing!

I recently ordered a vintage Tiffany gold pin from the RealReal. This item came out in the early 90's, and I loved it from the moment I saw it and always wished I could afford to buy one.
But it was above my budget then. Imagine my surprise and joy to find the exact same pin on the RealReal website! I was so pleased to read the detailed description of the pin, including any condition issues and its gram weight (which I would never had received had I purchased the same pin at Tiffany in 1992). And the price was cheaper now than it had been then!
The pin arrived several days after I ordered it, and it's beautiful. The RealReal fulfilled one of my dreams! A million thanks!

I purchsed an item on sale. When im paying the cart - the sales tax calculated is on the original sales price - then the discount is taken. The discount should be taken 1st and then charge sales tax on the discounted amount. You are overcharging the customer. The amount difference is enough to make you think you are being scammed. Its probably a program error; but that i should mention it - to get it corrected.
My experience with The Real Real has always been positive. The products are authentic. The products are sent quickly and safely to my front door.

I've sold many things through The Real Real and bought almost as much. Years ago the company used to be great. You could find excellent quality, designer items at great values. Now, 2 out of every 3 things you buy are inaccurately described, not authentic, or in much worse condition than the description suggests. I refuse to try to sell anything through the site any longer due to the disastrous experiences purchasing.
And, the customer service representatives are obnoxious, rude, and even though you are calling about an inaccurately described dress that is NWT, they won't take it back because you're a few days outside of your return window.
I highly recommend shopping on any other consignment site you can find.

I purchased a Burberry and I am utterly impressed with my purchase. The item was just as good if not better than described. I'm am very, very pleased with my purchase and look forward to future purchases w/ The Real Real
I very much appreciate the quick returns. I love the measurements displayed for the items (in addition to the designer's size), in this case a pair of jeans. Shipping needs to be faster. Customer service is really good.
Answer: Do not buy from them! Their return/refund policy is skewed to their benefit. In my case, I bought a Louis Vuitton bag and when it was received it was not in the condition advertised or the photos did not highlight the real wear of the bag and they refused to make a refund or credit. It's their lost because I have since bought many bags on Ebay which offers guarantee of refund should item be faulty or misrepresented. Also, on Ebay you can judge by seller feedback whether the seller is reputable and PRICES are so much less than on the REAL REAL. Their name should be changed to the REAL GREED!

Most times, this is for new customers who have never shopped with us before, orders with vastly different billing and shipping information, or are international customers with unverified credit cards. We will ask for some sensitive and personal information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the purchaser but we will not ask for a Social Security Number. Was your father attempting to complete his purchase via Affirm? Affirm is a third party company we work with that offers financing on purchases. If your father was attempting to complete a purchase via Affirm, they do require a SSN for a soft credit check for the loan approval and repayment options. As Affirm is a third party, we do not have access to any of that information so it is secure with Affirm. Of course, no one is required to use Affirm for check out, rather it's just another payment option we offer. Answer: I do NOT recommend selling through TRR. Read all seller reviews. This a speed selling co trying to cash in on a quick commission. The prices they assign are RIDICULOULOUS at best. They are not there to get you a good price but a fast buck for themselves. They priced a brand new prada bag with a label on at $625. Minus 20% permanent discount, 60% of that, I receive a whopping $312. After 10 days wait of processing and seeing the prices assigned I pulled my items. I was shocked and even more upset. I rather give the cloths to charity or sell them myself. I think it is insiders who buy the best items at dirt cheap prices they assign themselves. As a buyer just today I receive a wrong item. They were going to research the problem and find the item I purchased, a coat. They sent me a dirty silk top... This is after waiting for 10 days to get the wrong item. This co is just very bad. Customer service is spotty. Some reps are just dreadful. They sound like this is a summer gig and they got no training, you can never speak to a supervisor, none is ever available, Read the reviews and decide if you still want to use this co. Answer: I don't work for The Real Real I am just a satisfied customer, very satisfied! I see all the complaints, and just shake my head. Knowing how people can be, and also knowing the complainers are the ones who write letters, I can only assume they are "out of touch with reality", or POSSIBLY are competitors who are just being difficult to try and hurt the site. Remember, anyone can write anything, that does not mean it is true, nor are ALL the facts being presented! As for me, I am willing to show, and prove who I am, and the great products and service I received.
Answer: This happened to me only one time, and I have sold quite a few items with them. As soon as I received the quote for a pair of earrings. I contacted them immediately and said I felt the price was to low due to various reasons, and they got back to me the next day with an adjusted price. I have never experienced what you are describing above as a bait and switch scenario, and I always check the similar or same items they are selling. I would just call them and ask for the details as to why the other item is higher. Sorry you had a bad experience!
Answer: File a complaint with the US Customs office in your area and your state's attorney general. Also for many types of goods, they will destroy the counterfeit goods and give you a letter stating they have done so. This is ironclad proof for the bank dispute.
