Part of my order was missing. I received a quick reply and had the matter resolved in a couple of days.
I am waiting on a refund for an item that was returned to the Chicago store on Monday, February 15th. The item is marked as "return received" but has not been marked as "return processed" The customer service rep said they were sending an email and would follow up, but I have not heard any more updates. I don't think it is the fault of the customer service rep, but my issue has not yet been resolved.
I was quite happy with my purchase. As hoped, it was a brand new item never worn, the right color, the right size, at the right price--delivered to my door within days and packaged nicely with the original tags.
I am very satisfied, with the Items that I chose. Both seam to be brand new. One dress had a tiny malfunction with the zipper, the seam was ripped further open than it was supposed to. Other than that, amazing quality and variety of fashion to choose from. The option where you can only view your own size, makes shopping so much easier and fun. Just love it.
Many items to chose from, well described with accurate measurements and comments, fast shippment, and last but not least great customer service if needed.
The order I placed the total amount is over $2000. It is for sure that $2000 is in US dollars, net of discount, not including taxes, shipping, marketing site credits, or purchases of gift cards during the promotional period. Please check the attached files. Due to an error in your inventory system, the refund $67.35 caused this result that the total net amount is below $2000 now. In the end, Rostan helped me and I received $500 credit
I became a very loyal customer with the REALREAL after trying it again for the 3rd times. The reason was because i wanted to try a few pieces, to make sure what it's said is "real". I did not like what i saw and then had to pay shipping cost again. I did not think it's fair, especially most retail offers free shipping charge. However, when i found a few good pieces, I got hook.
I bought two pairs of shoes on Feb 17. One pair was shipped. Today is Feb 24 and they still have not arrived. Every day UPS shows "Out for Delivery" yet they have not been delivered. The other pair has not even been shipped.
I was told on 2/14/2021 that I would be refunded my 11.95 return shipping fee for a completely incorrect description on the realreal's site of shoes that I ordered. I have not seen the refund yet and called today and then received a note that I would not be receiving a credit even though the realreal's description was completely inaccurate. Horrible customer service!
Two out of three items were satisfactory. The Theory trench coat that arrived was very disappointing. Stitching coming undone on pockets, a button hanging by a thread and general wear was beyond what should have been accepted by your curators. It was outright shabby. Honestly, I would not have paid $10 for the Theory trench coat at Goodwill.
I've ordered 3 items now from The Real Real and I have yet to be disappointed. Great products, accurately described, trustworthy authentication. Will definitely be back for more! :)
Your service is excellent but the only problem is that shipping to my country has cost $ 50, UPS in general I am not happy with their company, expensive and no services.

The item's description says, "moderate seam splitting at back." It isn't seam splitting, the fabric is torn close to the seam, and I wouldn't call it "moderate." It's torn on both sides of the neck opening. This isn't something that can be repaired without showing because it isn't on the seam, the tears are IN the fabric. I can't return this item because it was part of the Real Big Sale. It would have been nice to have been given an accurate description. All in all, I think the descriptions of items on TRR are inadequate and sometimes wrong.

Purchased two items, which were shipped separately but arrived at the same time. This was great as I didn't have to pay any extra duties/customs which happens a lot when shipping to Canada. Shipping was very quick and items were exactly as described. Will be ordering from here again! (: would recommend
I had to make two phone calls to the customer service of TRR and both were extremely well handled.
Answer: Do not buy from them! Their return/refund policy is skewed to their benefit. In my case, I bought a Louis Vuitton bag and when it was received it was not in the condition advertised or the photos did not highlight the real wear of the bag and they refused to make a refund or credit. It's their lost because I have since bought many bags on Ebay which offers guarantee of refund should item be faulty or misrepresented. Also, on Ebay you can judge by seller feedback whether the seller is reputable and PRICES are so much less than on the REAL REAL. Their name should be changed to the REAL GREED!

Most times, this is for new customers who have never shopped with us before, orders with vastly different billing and shipping information, or are international customers with unverified credit cards. We will ask for some sensitive and personal information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the purchaser but we will not ask for a Social Security Number. Was your father attempting to complete his purchase via Affirm? Affirm is a third party company we work with that offers financing on purchases. If your father was attempting to complete a purchase via Affirm, they do require a SSN for a soft credit check for the loan approval and repayment options. As Affirm is a third party, we do not have access to any of that information so it is secure with Affirm. Of course, no one is required to use Affirm for check out, rather it's just another payment option we offer. Answer: I do NOT recommend selling through TRR. Read all seller reviews. This a speed selling co trying to cash in on a quick commission. The prices they assign are RIDICULOULOUS at best. They are not there to get you a good price but a fast buck for themselves. They priced a brand new prada bag with a label on at $625. Minus 20% permanent discount, 60% of that, I receive a whopping $312. After 10 days wait of processing and seeing the prices assigned I pulled my items. I was shocked and even more upset. I rather give the cloths to charity or sell them myself. I think it is insiders who buy the best items at dirt cheap prices they assign themselves. As a buyer just today I receive a wrong item. They were going to research the problem and find the item I purchased, a coat. They sent me a dirty silk top... This is after waiting for 10 days to get the wrong item. This co is just very bad. Customer service is spotty. Some reps are just dreadful. They sound like this is a summer gig and they got no training, you can never speak to a supervisor, none is ever available, Read the reviews and decide if you still want to use this co. Answer: I don't work for The Real Real I am just a satisfied customer, very satisfied! I see all the complaints, and just shake my head. Knowing how people can be, and also knowing the complainers are the ones who write letters, I can only assume they are "out of touch with reality", or POSSIBLY are competitors who are just being difficult to try and hurt the site. Remember, anyone can write anything, that does not mean it is true, nor are ALL the facts being presented! As for me, I am willing to show, and prove who I am, and the great products and service I received.
Answer: This happened to me only one time, and I have sold quite a few items with them. As soon as I received the quote for a pair of earrings. I contacted them immediately and said I felt the price was to low due to various reasons, and they got back to me the next day with an adjusted price. I have never experienced what you are describing above as a bait and switch scenario, and I always check the similar or same items they are selling. I would just call them and ask for the details as to why the other item is higher. Sorry you had a bad experience!
Answer: File a complaint with the US Customs office in your area and your state's attorney general. Also for many types of goods, they will destroy the counterfeit goods and give you a letter stating they have done so. This is ironclad proof for the bank dispute.
