There is a basic set up to narrow your search criteria such as age and nationality, or place where someone lives. However, the search results ignores those settings and you get irrelevant results. This is the only explanation why I see 22-27 year old women or receive notifications from them. In addition every time you are interested in someone and you go back to the previous screen, the search results begins Not from were you left, but rather the very beginning.
Even though you "Block" some users, cause some are quite wild, too young or live in a place you might not be interested to travel and meet, these also show up on your search results. So, it becomes more like a memory game:)
I sometimes question if some of the people might actually work at this place, and their job is to get most credits out of you, so you refill again. Why this thought? Well every text you send is about 1USD and every video(30 sec. In lenght) about 20USD(I believe video charges are for both the sender and receiver). So, someone wanted me to see their headphones they use while working... No thanks.

I visited the website 'theluckydate.com' today for the first time.
After 'liking' a couple of profiles, (actually, every profile that was suggested), I already had my doubts since they all looked like models, making it look like all the Chinese women are gorgeous and there aren't any mediocre or ugly women in China.
I then left for a while doing groceries and didn't think about it any more.
When I came back, half an hour ago, I saw that the site was still open so I had a looksee.

- Many of the users seem to be false/fraudulent. They send strange messages that resemble AI-generated material and ask bizarre questions that a real person wouldn't ask. Pictures of some users appear photo-shopped or done with a green screen, not in the actual places depicted in the background.
- Certain users seem to be on the site constantly from what I've observed from logging in periodically and checking statuses; it's not realistic for a single person to be logged in that long and too much of a coincidence for the "person" to be on every time I checked and for the length of time I remained on to monitor once I became concerned. I am concerned about scams of multiple users per account and around-the-clock activity to generate traffic on and revenue for the site.
- The functionality is not user-friendly.
- It is unrealistic as a means to truly connect with a person without first spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars - and even to connect with a person at all after that. Users are forbidden to exchange any personal information until cumbersome and extortive conditions are met, requiring excessive monetary investment into the site. That is not fair to users and is not a true service. "Safety" is cited as a reason, but to be truly safe, the site should allow internal, live, real-time video (with audio) chatting so that users can validate each other and should allow users to choose with whom they wish to expand contact outside of the site. Forbidding the exchange of personal details is a way for the site to keep people bound to it and spending exuberant amounts of money without actually getting to validate the other person's live presence and sincere identity.

Well my experience has been very painful as I was managed to be humiliated by 3 profiles in a raw. The site is either has individuals who take over the profile or it is assisted by artificial intelligence Bots. I have all necessary evidence to prove this if the site is willing to be confronted. Even if you get the details they try to put you back in the platform in order to gain credits. Their main concern is how to gain more from you. I still haven't figured out weather this is an actual person who is getting paid by how many credit score or the platform takes over and uses AI in order to follow the conversations. Many times i have realised that the sequence of the conversation was not ok as we were chatting through email and suddenly a message was sent in the platform with no sense.
