Been a customer at the Company Store for decades, yes decades. As an aficionado shopper I can attest, unequivocally that The Company Store for home products reasonably priced is the best store in the USA! The quality of their items hasn't wavered one little bit over the years and their prices, unlike a lot of their competitors have held constant, some even going down especially when they have sales which happen a lot and if you are patient can usually find an item you like on sale at some point. I love their reversible bathroom rugs and they were the first that I recall who offered polyfil, a great alternative to down if you don't feel right about taking the feathers off a duck's back.

They call it a blanket but it is a light down comforter. I bought it for my house in Mexico but it also is perfect for summer.

Nothing to it. Paypal makes the shopping easy. And all the company store has to do is supply the goods and the comforter I chose should meet expectations.
The down comforter is exactly what I was looking for. High-quality, off white (ivory) and one that makes that crinkly sound. When I contacted customer service, the rep confirmed it made that crinkly sound. By my description, she knew exactly what I was talking about. She said it would diminish some once washed.

The standard size pillowcases were a little on the big side, I guess to accommodate queen size pillows. I would have preferred "standard" size. The standard size pillowcase protectors were extremely large... way too big for a standard size pillow.

This is what I ordered: LaCrosse Premium Down Ultra Warmth Comforter - Full. FINALLY! A down comforter store that sells sewn-through box construction in at least a somewhat high power(Ultra) which is what I bought. Fought for 30+ years with those damn baffle box squares that EVERY NIGHT would have nothing in the middle because all the down moved through that opening between the boxes to other boxes, making those really full, but where I needed it the most - nothing. Completely gone. So to find this comforter in all sizes with different colors and warmths was a revelation to me. Kudos to them for that. Those are all the positives. Now for the negatives: the fabric in this comforter is 295. VERY crinkly sounding. Every down comforter I've ever had a much higher thread count and made absolutely NO noise when moving around. (In fact, the one I'm using now bought from a regular everyday store is whisper quiet. But it has those %^&*@# baffles.) The Comforter Store should make this comforter, the LaCrosse, with that kind of fabric. Or at least give a hgher thread count as an option and STATE that it's softer and doesn't make noise. I've only had it less than a couple weeks or so, and love that the down doesn't move and its relatively warm, but it's really irritating to actually be woken up by the crinkling sound! Charge a few bucks more for the non-crinkling fabric if you must - I'd gladly pay it not to hear crinkling. The ony other thing is, the higher-count down comforters that are baffles, make them in the sewn-through type, where the down doesn't move around. I would have gotten one of those if it was sewn-through (and cost much more) but because this LaCrosse was the only one that was like that, I had to take it. In fact, make the sewn-through kind an option for every one of the comforters. Just as an aside, MANY years ago there was a company that sold sewn-through down comforters in boxes that were, WHEN FILLED, about 7-8 inches square. Looked like an overstuffed down parka. LOVED THEM and ordered 3 in the highest count they had, in both twin for my kids and queen or king (forget which) for us adults. And back then they were $300-$400+ each. So a lot of $$. But SO worth it. Someone should bring those back. Dont' know WHY they even make the baffle kind since that down moves all over the place. VERY hard to shake a twin/full, let alone a queen or king to redistribute the down. One last thing: These down companies advertize CUSTOM comforters. That's actually not true. CUSTOM is where you tell them the type/count of fabric you want, the power of fill, the type of construction (sewn-through, baffle), etc. Picking from their list of premade is NOT custom is any sense of the word. When you build a custom home you tell the builder what you want in it, not some cookie-cutter design they have. I would want the 6-700 down in whatever thread count that doesn't make noise (4-500ct and up?) in a sewn-through style in both a full and queen. THAT would be my idea of custom. Sorry, but that's my gripe about companies advertizing "custom".

I get totally sucked into reading reviews which can help and confuse at the same time. A little hesitant to spend a lot on sheets because of this, but saw one which brought me back to The Co Store percale sheets. On sale and able to replace one sheet (dif brand) that ripped, I am thrilled! A little smooth out of the pkg it washed up perfectly! Dried way less wrinkled than other percales and the texture turned just perfect! Weight, color, everything nicer than hotel 5 star. Will continue to purchase Co. Store
