I went to the Whitby location at The Brick and was very pleased with my purchases. Mr. A. Shahzad, the salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about my appliances. I have been to many different stores and was not happy about their warranties or prices. He was able to please us and for that we are very grateful. I recommend this location and Mr. Shahzad.
I had a very bad experience for almost a year, going back and forth and not getting any answers on my furniture being fixed, even after I paid for the extended warranty at one of the Brick stores. I had a very quick respond after going high up the chain. Long story short, I was given nothing but respect and great feedback and a great solution from Andrew Graham, He was a great help when feeling defeated. If you have a problem don't give up keep fighting to get the right answers. I will continue to shop at the Brick store and encourage others to also GREAT STORE
Bought furniture for the wife for Christmas presents. She peaked in the boxes and decided it was wrong color and wanted to exchange of refund.
I called and was informed I only had a 48 hour window for even a straight across exchange, never mind a refund.
This is stated nowhere on my invoice or when purchased. I was told to have a nice day and hung up on.
Do not shop here as they do not stand behind their product and have no customer service after the purchase.
Want cheap sub quality furniture at top dollar? Got money to throw away? Go ahead and buy at the Brick! Paid 3K for a couch that fell apart just over a year after purchase. Looks like flea market quality. Worst cheaply made expensive furniture I ever bought. Save yourself the trouble and buy elsewhere.
They do not have a proper delivery system, they will just waste your time. Do not deliver in agreed timelines.
We were due to receive our brand new couch on Dec 21st, 2022 but delivery was posponed until the following day due to the snow. My wife took the day off work to receive the couch but no delivery arrived.
I phoned the Brick and was put through to the shipping department. I spoke with an extremely helpful and polite woman by the name of Sam. She apologised profusely for the error. Not only did she personally guarantee delivery for the following Saturday but also refunded my $90 delivery charge
True to her word the delivery arrived and $90 was credited to my charge card.

Just got my new couch I ordered delivered and it's ripped in the corner. Call the brick and they informed me to take pictures and email them in and they will get back to me in 48 hours. No concern I was upset about it. No customer service at all. At this point they can just come and pick it up and I will buy from their competitors. Not happy at all.
Vowed never to deal with the brick again 10 years ago because of terrible customer service. Took a chance and went back,do we ever regret that decision. If nothing else they are consistant with awful service.we are left without anything to sit on for over a week because the delivery guys were incompetent.expected delivery today only to be told that it was cancelled, then hD another call confirming delivery for next week.nobody knows what's going on. Getting our money back and going elsewhere...strongly recommend not dealing with the brick
This furniture chain is a farce. Illegitimate company whose warranty arm Trans Global Service gives no service and ignores their warranty. My experience, makes me suspect they are ripping off their customers for parts. Charging people for the service, installing it and tells you another part is also not working. It has already been 7 months and still not fixed. We've already given up getting the fridge fixed. My recommendation: stay FAR FAR AWAY FROM BRICK.
We bought a sectional from Brick Furniture. Only first couple weeks the new sectional was comfortable. Later the foam cushions started to fall in, To sit where close to imposible. Brick Administratins told us: "WE DO NOT EXCHANGE OR REFUND". It just hapened that our relative has a Furniture factory in Toronto. We asked him for help. He examened the sectional and explaned that Brick was saving money by using a low cost 4" low dencity foam, about 1.4 LB with IDL12 And that foam was covered with 1" high density IDL40 or higher foam. Thats why the first filling is that cushion is hard and springy. He also explained that foam has two main factors wich comes together. It is "dencity" (measured in lb of a std cube of foam) and IDL (which is "firmnes" or deflection under std load). As an example the price of 24" by 24" by 2" foam may vary from $12 to $126. Brick Furniture is saving a lot of many by producing very chip sectionals which appears that thay are comfortable but only in the show room.

I had a great experience at Brick while purchasing a bedroom set. The sales associate (Kimberly Latimer) was very professional and went out of her way to get me the best deal. She was very patient even though it was almost closing time. The delivery was on time and the boys did an excellent job bringing it in safely. I would glad shop there again. Thanks so much Kimberly and the delivery boys!

I posted on facebook how I will never buy from the brick again I got the extended warranty they came and looked at the table at that point they said we should get a new table and 2 weeks later they want more money to try and fix it so don't get the warranty
Never buy extended warranty with bricks because I have problems with them about two months for my oven to fix but it is not fixed yet and I should wait another 4-5 weeks, bricks said sorry we can't do anything and their warranty company(king & state) doesn't care about it. Their reviews which I saw it today be careful when you go to buy something from brick with extended warranty
Don't buy anything from them, never buy warranty. When you want to buy something they try to convince you to buy warranty, when you want to use it, show you one hundred reasons that you can't use it, if it's not fraud, what is that? If it's not rubbery, what is that?

Don't bother…. Purchasing at the brick is the dumbest decision you can make. They are great at saying "I'm sorry" because they need to do it so much and it means absolutely nothing. I had 3 different people apologizing to my and never resolved any issues. In fact, despite my continued insistence that I would not be available for delivery on their schedule…guess what… they phoned and said this is the only time that they can deliver. Once again I have to make arrangements to receive my goods even though I scheduled for earlier this week. They didn't show or contact us that they wouldn't be here and despite a series of call, emails and chat…."screw you customer, we will deliver when we say so suck it up!" Really is what we get. Customer service in general is in place to address and resolve issues…the brick, an opportunity to create additional issues. You are the worst brick organization and there is no way that you will ever see me, family or friends darken your doorstep. Not one manager had bothered to even contact me despite me insisting on speaking to one. You Suck Huge! I would have given a zero but there is not an opportunity to do so.

6weeks into the $3500 purchase the second couch and Luvseat need to be replaced. Creaking in the couch and fabric is separating at the seams in 3 locations and falling apart. The brick won't let me return them. Don't shop here unless you are excited about throwing your money away
I had a very bad experience with brick in 2021 when they did not deliver one item but insisted they did. Also I had a very bad experience this year, they delivered some damaged items to my home, made some damages to my home, sent very rude delivery guys to my home. Still I am in the middle of a dispute with them through my representative. I never go to Bricks in future. This store is awful.

Answer: They are a massive scam company. No customer service, no loyalty to their customers. Once you have paid, good luck receiving your merchandise on time, or getting replacements for the damaged goods. They lie through their teeth about timelines and promise things that never happen. They do not communicate amongst themselves, so one person will tell you one thing and the next has no idea and says it can't be done. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. Stay away!
Answer: Many furniture companies out there who are more reliable in shipping products on time. Amazon and Wayfair were good (although, I had one Wayfair order which had some damaged pieces that Wayfair has not been good at replacing).
