Texting work not calls. But from previous devices with text now on it, i know it potentially works well. Not sure y it's not now.
Completely free and never fails to call or message anybody I get ahold. Always there when I need a phone that will work
I've been using TN for years both as my home WiFi phone service and often when traveling. My ISP has nodes all over the area where I live, so data hasn't been much of an issue for me, besides I also keep a Tracfone in the car. TN works well for me. The ads that pay for the service have become a little more prominent on the screen but don't really interfere when actually using the app. If you have an old phone that you're not using and "need" a back-up, try it out. Their SIMs have occasionally gone on sale for $0.99 instead of $4.99.

It works great when I have the Wi-Fi to make it work however I wish there were more options and/or prices to choose from to make the app work without the Wi-Fi

There needs to be a better way to stop calls from spammers. I keep getting phone calls from someone who used to own this number and I block all the numbers but they use other ways to keep calling. It's annoying! Other than that this service is great!

I've used the TextNow app for about 10 years and I am still just as happy with it. It is so good to have an emergency phone number on hand that can be used from any phone or tablet that can download apps from Playstore or App Store. The phone doesn't even have to have an active working phone number on it either, unlike the Google phone free number app requires. As long as there's wi-fi available to the device, the TextNow number works like a regular phone with unlimited calls and texting! I've recommended TextNow to dozens of people already and I'll continue to do the same as long as it exists. I love my TextNow free phone number!
