This part was just what I was looking for. A new SSD to upgrade the storage in my Surface Laptop 4. Everywhere else I looked, was shipping from China and would take week to get here. Price was good, and they had fast shipping options since it was shipping within the US. The SSD is performing very well so far. I will definitely be ordering from Tech For Less again.

Sadly this company claims to give a full refund but the fine print claims they charge a 20% restocking fee. So make sure you only order with Amazon or Pay Pal Very disappointed

FRAUD!
October 11, 2019

BEWARE fraudulent seller online. I bought a open item from them that was advertised as new and perfect condition. When we opened it, it had a large scratch on it, which was concealed under the sticker on the lower right corner. IT appears they put a larger sticker over it. The sticker was mint, so the scratch was there prior. Worse, the refused to credit me or take it back. I had to get my Credit card company involved to try to resolve.

Well, where do i start
February 15, 2014

Well, where do i start. I spent hours researching televisions trying to find the one that fits my budget and my needs. I found tech for less on eBay and i thought they had great deals. I thought wrong! They sent the TV with some commercial delivery service that does not normally ship to residential addressing according to the woman at the freight company. After a week of trying to arrange a delivery, i finally got it. The TV came in with burnt out pixels and the picture on the screen jumping all over the place. Completely busted television. They're ad said it was new. I was so upset.

I called then and i spoke with a girl named Anastasia in the customer service dept. who speaks with a very calming voice and is so nice which i admit calmed me down a lot. I agreed to purchase a different TV from them which cost almost another 200. (Another Bid Mistake, What was I thinking?)

They shipped it fed ex this time so i was able to get delivery much easier. The package job was amateur at best and i never got the original box the TV came in. It looks used. It came in a brown generic box with two little pieces of Styrofoam holding it in place. I opened and set it up. And then i saw it. It was hard to see at first because the border of this Samsung TV is clear and transparent. So as i was peeling the plastic on the stand i noticed a crack in the corner of the border. Another botched delivery. It looks like it was dropped on its side because when you turn the screen on it looks like something is pressing on it the way a touch screen on your phone looks when you press it.

Right now i am sitting here on a Saturday (my day off) waiting for fed ex to come back and pick it up which is what Anastasia told me to do. They gave me a window on when they are coming. Only problem is i just called Fed ex and they haven nothing scheduled at this address at all for the week. The only thing left to do is to call my bank and notify them of this issue and warn all my friends out there.

DO NOT BUY FROM TECH FOR LESS!

I had the job of outfitting a call center with PCs and was given a very limited budget. I used this site to buy refurbished computers running windows xp and paid about $100 - 200 per computer and was able to stay within budget. PCs work great and who really wants that windows 7 anyways :) great site.

"You get what you pay for. Shortly after the ninety days, kapoof! The computer crashed and "customer service" provided no help whatsoever--very rudely informed me that was my problem, "my ninety days were up." & "No repairs are made by tech for less", what? They refurbish and sell them off but cannot repair after ninety days? Additionally, no re-stocking fee for an exchange, no options offered at all!--my problem-- I'm on my own with this piece of junk! Don't take chances with this company! I cannot recommend anyone buy from this company!"

I called and they had in stock what they said they did. Placed my order and the item shipped that day. GREAT COMPANY. I also got the last one and after my order was placed I went back to the website and it showed that they were out of stock. Now how is that for keeping up on things. *********** :)
