FRAUD DO NOT USE - they charge the money by card and when they didnt do the work, i asked for a refund and i have never been refunded the £600 back. NOT £60 but yes £600. I paid them for a six month contract to make me a taxiquoter webstie for me and after two months i recieved no reply and when i call they dont seem to be in the office or if they pick up they say you have to speak the manager and he is always $#*!ing away. DO NOT EVERY USE THEM THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS.

RUBISH COMPANY

I was staying in glasgow and use this site to organise a taxi for a work appointment the next day. The details of the taxi company they said had been booked for me were invalid. I called taxibooker back who then said they couldn't help and would refund my money (it wasn't much, bit I work hard for my money and don't see why they should get any of it for NOT providing a service) - over a week later, despite several calls, I'm still waiting.

Had one good experience on a short journey, so booked a long distance trip through them.

Car never arrived. No answer on the taxi quoter phone number.

Phoned the cab company I was told I'd be driven by - they'd never heard of taxi quoter and couldn't do the trip.

Ended up stranded, having to call a mini cab and wait nearly an hour alone at midnight for a car company to send a driver as it was a busy night.

I called taxi quoter every day after until I got an answer, they said sorry and took my details for a refund that never arrived and have gone back to not answering calls.

I booked a taxi for july 2012 for 14 girls going from manchester to nottingham return. After i booked and they took £50 deposit of our money i stumbled upon this review site, after getting a little worried i rang them as i never recieved a confirmation and they never answered, i then left an email asking to be called as i had rang several times to no answer. When they called me they were so rude and said it was up to me to then contact the actual taxi company. Which i did... and they knew NOTHING of the booking! So i contacted taxiquoter back and they said they would look into it. After over a week of no reply i asked for a refund and immediatly got a reply saying they had sorted a taxi for us, i repeated that i wanted a refund as i had no faith that a car would turn up... i have written to them 4 times and have been ignored each time! ABSOLUTE CON MEN! SCAMMERS! THEIVES! STAY AWAY!

I would never use Taxi Quoter again! I never write reviews online, but this one time I feel I should.
I booked a return 16 seater from Gatwick airport, which was at a very good price, but now I see why! They failed to turn up to collect us at 2am, meaning we had to rush about to find alternatively taxis to take our group to the airport at last minute and at a higher cost.
Once on holiday I chased and chased, and chased and chased them to find out what happened. Finally got through to the right person who didn't even say sorry just said it must have been a mistake! Isn't it what they specialise in!
Asked if they'd be able to as a good will gesture reduce the return price as we were already going to be out of pocket, to which they said they'd need to actually charge us more! As you can guess I cancelled the whole booking.
The final straw is they still have my £85 deposit, I've been back from holiday now for over 2 weeks. They said it'd be refunded into my account 1.5 weeks ago, still no money and still I'm having to chase and chase and chase them, with them continually telling me that they're going to call back and they never do, and the Manager is never in the office to be able to speak.
They maybe cheap, but they never even did the job they were booked for but are more than happy to keep hold of my deposit for as long as possible.

I booked a taxi which didn't show up. I received a rude response to my first e-mail to them, no response to the following two. Have just called them on a mobile phone number given in their response and was told very rudely that I should call in office hours and not to tell them that I can't spare 5 minutes during office hours because that is just being pedantic (don't think the guy understands what the word means).
They are rude and unreliable, don't trust them and certainly make sure you don't book them if you are trying to make a flight...

axiquoter.co.uk is a SCAM! They took my £50 and never replied my calls nor e-mails after leaving me STRANDED in the middle of the night for 2 HOURS waiting for the taxi I ordered! I wasted so much money getting in touch with them over the phone only to talk to the same receptionist who said nobody is in the office at the moment. I called everyday at different times for a whole week without success. PLEASE NEVER GIVE YOUR MONEY TO TAXIQUOTER.CO.UK! THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE TAXI SERVICE AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU! SCAMMER ALERT!
