I'm trying to return my reel just spoiled it up for the first time and the drag is slipping while even locked down. I sent a request for this earlier in the week when I figured out that it's faulty.

I called on 5 - 15 - 2020 and after 40 minutes on hold I explained to a gentleman that I had placed an order for two Seigler SGN Reel and that one of the was missing that rod clamp and that I had already called Seigler and was told that all of there reels are shipped with the rod clamp so it must have been removed at your location. He said that it wouldn't be a problem he would get with Seigler about having the one I'm missing replaced and he would call me as soon as it was done and even confirmed my phone number. So after two weeks of no call, text, or email on the status of my replacement part. I tried calling again and was told to email 2-3 Emails latter and nothing. I liked the way you got my order to in a timely manner, but after that we are on our own. The reel are for two custom rods I made for a customer of mine and he keeps calling me on his rods. So please can you at least give me a status update. My ID# ******* the date and time I spoke to the gentleman was on May 15 at 2:22 PM but actually spoke to him was around 2:50 to 3:01 PM. So please can someone please assist in this matter so I stop looking like an A Hole to my customer. So would I recommend Tackle Direct as of now NEVER!

I received this email, with no information connected to it, asking me if I was satisfied, and since I have many orders out there, I had no clue what was ordered or if I had received it or not, tried to call customer service but to no avail. Service was "ok". Wrong item was shipped. I called and a a substitute item was initially ordered - not the same item but i was told it would be the same size. (ordered black 45 lb. snap swivels & rec'd chrome) the brand i was sent was black but 70 lb. - not the same size. They were going to charge me for the replacements until the TD customer service person & I discussed the situation & then the 70 #'s were sent at no charge.
Wrong item, wrong finish, then correct finish but wrong size - doubtful I would source TD again. This was my 1st experience with them.
Could not get a rep on the phone was on hold and eventually decided to hang up.
