T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

Expecting BMW performance from a Prius? If You have T-Mobile, you now what I'm talking about. Behind the flashy adds and Pink facade, there's just a low cost, low performing service. Appropriately named...(T)errible Mobile with 5G (5x the Grief).
Tried over 2 week period to transfer mobile # to new provider. Dealt with 2 managers at this office that is now closed. The last day I had everything they asked. The office manager had to make one last call to main office which he refused to do because of similar requests the previous days. Had to change Mobil #. This has caused MANY problems over many months. Worst experience of my 80 years of life. Don't do business with them
Very unsatisfied with tmobile internet just because I don't have auto pay set up they are charging me triple what my bill is I would not use tmobile.
I have been having so many problems with their technicians, and even managers don't have a clue of what they are doing. They are always making excuses, when they can't solve problems they ask for additional time and promise to call you back and they never do. Too much false promises, lying, and they are unable to figure out what issues are going on and how to resole them. Very poor and nerve wracking service. Lack of knowledge.
I recently added two phones to my existing service. I was told by the local T-Mobile store that two accounts were made for the first two phones instead of one account which caused my bill to be higher. I was also told that I qualify for the one free phone promotion with a trade-in - however when I tried to turn-in the phone at the local store as directed by T-Mobile they refused to take the phone. First they refused to take the phone because the screen looked cracked but that was just the screen saver :) - the phone was in like new condition; when that didn't work the manager refused to give me credit for the trade-in because I missed the "two week deadline." That was the first time I heard about that requirement.
Everything T-Mobile promises you is verbal so you really have no recourse when there is a problem. My only recourse was to cancel the plan and pay $830 for the new phone or... keep the my plan and pay an extra $34 per month for two years.
Because of the bad customer service and false advertising I decided to pay off the $830 balance for the new phone and cancel my cell plan and internet service with T-Mobile.
This company has bad business practices. Know people who have had similar issue.
Bought a Galaxy I liked but phone had no internet connection so was only useful as a phone. I use the internet daily and so I turned it in to store
But T Mobile cannot serve my community 1.9 miles from the franchise store.
Am 80 they persist in sending to collection agencies that I reported the store has the phone, and manager affirmed so. I paid a deposit they still have.
Phone was turned in exactly in time with the one day extension when required that I try a new sim card, with promise they would accept return. The sim card made no difference.
They play games at these franchise stores I have been told, not unusual treatment when they fail. They advertised they had new wide service range that is simply false.
False reporting to credit agencies demanding I pay several hundred for a phone that manger had possession is blackmail to damage my credit to extort money is unfair business practice.
They are impossible to resolve problems. Would not recommend them to buy a charging cord.
You should know that if you cancel your T Mobile service and pay your final bill they just keep sending you small balance bills and will not talk to you about it over the phone. They are forcing us into a 45 minute drive to the closest store to resolve the matter. Great company...NOT!
T-mobile does not Honor their word,
I traded in my phone for a new one. Wouldn't allow me to pay new one off, told me after I receive my first bill I could pay off. I am stuck paying for 2 years. If I pay off early I would pay 999.00 instead of 500 trade in.
We have been paying around $14-$18 per month for insurance on my iphone SE for the past three years. Just a week ago the touch screen went dead on the left side. I tried resetting it to no avail. I called T-Mobile support and immediately the rep informed me that because I have coverage through T-Mobile I can go to an apple store and get the phone replaced. Upon calling Apple, they informed me that I am not in the apple-care system. Fast forward 4 days and over 10 hours of phone calling with T-Mobile and Apple reps. T-Mobile has promised on multiple occasions that I will be put on the Apple Care system and I can get my phone exchanged. Finally Apple informed that under no circumstances can T-Mobile insert me in the Apple System.
10 hours later I have been lied to by T-Mobile on every single call. All they have tried for solutions is to sell me new phones. All the while having spent over $600 over the past three years in insurance for my phone. The insurance system is a complete scam and is clearly designed in a way that is so complicated and frustrating that customers end up buying new phones on-top of already paying for the insurance.
I've been a loyal T-Mobile customer for four years now, but I have to say that my recent experiences have left me incredibly frustrated and disappointed with their service.
Firstly, on multiple occasions, I've logged into my account, only to find someone else's information on my account. This is a concerning breach of privacy and security, and it has happened at least three times during my tenure with T-Mobile. It's unsettling to think that my personal information might be accessible to others as well.
Another issue I encountered was when I traded in my iPhone 11 for the iPhone 14, which I intended to give as a gift. I called T-Mobile to get the device unlocked, but instead of assisting me, it felt like they thought I was trying to cut off other lines. I spoke with not one but two customer service representatives who both assured me the phone was unlocked. To my frustration, it wasn't. Even when I escalated the issue to a supervisor, I received the same false promises. My phone remains locked, despite being fully paid off.
What adds to my dissatisfaction is the inconsistency in customer service responses and the feeling that they are not being upfront and honest. It's incredibly frustrating to be misled repeatedly.
To make matters worse, when I requested my port-out pin, they refused to provide it. This lack of cooperation and support is the last straw for me.
I'm fed up with the unreliable service, privacy breaches, and the recurring dishonesty from T-Mobile. It's with a heavy heart that I say I'm done with T-Mobile and will be looking for a more trustworthy and reliable mobile service provider.
I had a super bad expirience cancel and transfer a line an s equipment, i had been custumer for more than 6 year with my company.
I am tired of calling their customer service, NO RESULTS!
I have called so many times and been promised to resolve the issue!
I was under the impression. That was gonna get 2 freel lines and my bill reduced. My bill was 315 for 2 months. I called t-mobile they said the promotions would kick in on my third bill cycle and it would be cheaper. Guess what it wasn't. So i called them and they said i was receiving the promotions. When in reality im paying for lines that are supposed to be free. Im stuck in a contract for 2 years don't make the same mistake i did
We have been dealing with slow internet speed for months and have dealt with half a dozen customer service reps that had us jumping through numerous hoops, to include-moving the router to several different locations in the house, refreshing the router several times, spending hours at a time on the phone and replacing the router, we were told today by "Joy" to just switch providers. We were given this instruction after 12 YEARS with the company. Apparently, it's just easier to tell customers to jump ship rather than doing their JOB and finding a solution.
Tenemos dos meses que dejamos esta compañía y todavía siguen sacando dinero de mi cuenta de banco y es un problema para recuperar mi dinero porque te mandan de un departamento a otro y simplemente no solucionan nada
$#*! this service, my WIFI goes in and out in and out constantly dude holy $#*!. I play video games right? I cannot get in a game BELOW 1000+ PING Its dog $#*!. Never get this, the WIFI goes turns on and off constantly. Its 10 AM? Why am I lagging so much? The service is worse holy, the service just wont even $#*!ing work half the time. Dog $#*! WIFI, dog $#*! service, dog $#*! customer service
Fraudulent charges on our acct. We've been fighting a phone that was billed to us for two years. Finally switched providers and now they won't unlock one of our phones that's paid off. All over seas customer service. They repeat themselves over and over. You can never track down anyone you've already talked to. Minimum time on a call is an hour to try and fix an issue, then no issues are fixed. It's awful. Just don't do it.
Bad phone service and bad customer service furd companies I used t mobile bad service I chenge that company and deactivate my sime this company chenge me I month extra bills don't turst for this company this furd company
T-Mobile service is the worst service ever I have. I wish I could have seen this review before take The service. I am very tried of calls to them every single month because they charge me extra every month. I wish I could've seen the review of T-Mobile before I took the service from them. This is the worst experience ever I have in life. And, of course matter fact that I have a hidden price that I doesn't let you know by the Time you took the service. You believe me that is exactly what happened to everybody and it will happen to everyone continue. They have a big hiden cost
Made a call to ask questions about the home internet router to possibly buy service and the guy didn't seem to have the answers so he hung up on me mid call, called again and got a different guy and said i also had a complaint and he intentionally hung up on me too LOL. Good thing im still with verizon for everything.
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
