Superb customer service received from Jake Landi. The MIDI product he recommended was perfect for my son's needs. Kenny in tech support was extremely eager to assist in getting the MIDI properly connected to the DAW.

Before going to Amazon or any other online retailer for any musical equipment needs, I highly recommend that you give Sweetwater a chance. It only took one call to experience the difference... will be back in the future as my son's musical needs evolve.

After doing a Google search for guitar companies Sweetwater was always at the top in reviews, selection, and pricing. As a novice looking for a 1st guitar for my son they were helpful, knowledgeable and informative. Once I decided and made a purchase, I received an e-mail and phone call thank you. The service is amazing and their desire to make everyone comfortable, from a novice (me) to professional musicians they are experts. Would highly recommend and will buy from them in the future as well. Thanks again. My son loves his epiphone electric guitar.

I bought my first guitar online with Sweetwater this past month, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. I was so impressed with the excellent communication and overall professionalism that the sales team demonstrated throughout our interactions, from the initial selection and purchase to delivery.

I placed an order for a guitar from the Ibanez prestige series, and within 10 minutes, a sales representative from Sweetwater called me to personally confirm that they had received my ordered. He answered all of my questions and told me that he would call me personally if there would be any delay with my order. He called me back later that day to confirm my payment details and to tell me that my order had been placed.

Over the course of the next few days, I received multiple emails from the Sweetwater team, which let me track my order from shipment to the minute it arrived at my apartment. The guitar arrived in perfect condition and sounds amazing. It was packaged well - clearly a lot of care was taken to ensure it would arrive in great condition.

I will absolutely purchase from Sweetwater again, and I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone in the market for music instruments or equipment.

Way WAY Over The Top!

Hands down, this was the BEST EXPERIENCE I've ever had when purchasing a guitar. Got a "like new" (in my opinion) demo model at a great price, but that's only the tip of the iceberg. Literally an hour after my online purchase I got a telephone call from the sales engineer that handled my order thanking me and telling me my order is being shipped as he speaks and if there were any questions or concerns, he would personally take care of me. Then, he emailed professional-quality photos of my actual guitar so I could show it off to my buddies, and also let me know my guitar underwent a 55- point Evaluation. Then, my guitar arrived at my doorstep the VERY NEXT DAY! To top it off, a few days after its arrival, the President and Founder of the company sent a Thank You email along with all the Department Head contacts (including his) in-case I had any questions, comments or concerns! WOW! Nobody, I Mean NOBODY takes care of a customer like that, and this is why Sweetwater is simply The BEST! I really felt like I was important, and my purchase was truly appreciated! Oops, almost forgot to mention the little bag of candy sent with the guitar - a nice touch too! THANK YOU SWEETWATER!

From beginning to end, this is one of the best purchasing experiences I've ever had (comparable only to other Sweetwater purchases). I purchased my son's first guitar. He doesn't know anything about guitars, neither do I. James Shilliday, my Sales Engineer, did a wonderful job of asking questions, listening, and providing options based on that information. I felt no pressure to buy anything, he simply provided support and expertise. Excellent customer service!

Customer Service Terrible

I placed an order for $400 worth of equipment and received the order confirmation email. Since it was Christmas presents and I had an issue with Sweetwater screwing up an e-giftcard last month, I emailed them 4 days later to confirm that the order was processed. The next day I didn't receive a reply so I called them. The worker punched in my order number and told me their fraud department tagged my order as fraudulent and cancelled it. No one bothered to email or call me. Thanks for nearly screwing up Christmas, sweetwater. I placed the identical order with Memphis Drum Shop and they shipped it the next day.

Sweetwater has a great selection of products to chose from and they are priced right.
Prompt delivery. And the staff is very pleasant and helpful in getting the right product.
I buy things for our son and he recommended I go to sweetwater because he felt they were the best place to get the things he wanted.

I want to say I bought a ESP EC1000qm and the guitar is beautiful. I never had a shopping experience like this before Taylor works at Sweetwater and he actually called me to see what exactly I want, asked my style and etc about my music interests. I was really impressed. So we ordered the ESP and it was delivered and what a beautiful guitar, then problems have started the volume pots were loose and the toggle switch apparently was loose as well so when I was playing it stopped working and no volume on the pick up switch as I started playing some leads. Had it looked at and tighten up those loose parts. Worked great then I was practicing with my new band and boom a loud squeal ear piercing too. I was embraced I bought a piece of junk, not from Sweetwater but possibly from ESP as I've talked to Taylor and he suggested it maybe a loose wire and if you google it yup loose wires from bad soldering. I could do it myself but Taylor wouldn't give up on me and kept in touch with me to send it back which I didn't want to I want to play my guitar lol. So Taylor recommended I send it back once again gave me options a new guitar or get it fixed so it will soon be sent out and I thank you Taylor and Sweetwaterfor doing the honorable thing! I will be shopping here again as I need a tube amp very soon. Again thank you and have a (SWEET) day!

Sweetwater Rocks

What an experience! Sweetwater and their Sales Engineers were awesome and made our experience the best. Sales Engineer Craig Kiel walked through step-by-step for the whole purchase to make sure we had everything we needed. Craig even followed up with an email sending pictures of our purchase and to make sure everything was good. You do not get this type of customer service anymore, anywhere! We have other instruments to purchase and will be using Sweetwater from now on for everything musical. No other company compares.

Amazing customer service!

Drew Foster, sales engineer was/is amazing! It's not often I post a review anywhere but just had to say how impressed I was with Sweetwater's customer service. From initial purchase, to followup, to any end user/product issues. They have always been amazing, personable, and very customer oriented. I hold out from buying anything from any other source and always trust Sweetwater with my purchases because I know they care as much about what I'm buying as I do! A+

Exceeds Expectations!

As an old man I decided to start learning to play the piano. I needed a keyboard and earphones and more so my wife does not have to endure the pain of listening to my practice. I needed help on the website and typed my question - ended up talking to Max Rice who was extraordinarily helpful - and even followed up by email regarding the purchase. This is a very nice personal touch and made me feel I was in a store - not on just on a website. You gave the word "customer" service real meaning!

Sweetwater sound is simply the best musical gear retailer.as a direct result, i have been a very loyal customer. Why? Many reasons: they have the best customer service-hands down. Stores like guitar center completely suck and in fact they're probably going bankrupt because of it; for many reasons like: the "i only work here" attitude.[never] the case at Sweetwater. There's always someone who's knowledgeable. If 1 person doesn't know an answer, you're quickly referred to another rep who does specialize in whatever piece of gear/dept. To fulfill your individual need. Everyone's extremely polite, patient and honest. They re not used car salesmen. They're pretty much all musicians or sound techs or people like me who've worked in the music industry as well. Sweetwater stands behind what they sell.if you ever have an issue with anything [say it's electronic or something]their tech support is bar-none.if something's ever wrong, they make it right.if ever anything's defective in the slightest, they promptly email you an rma label.other chains don't do that -seriously. When shipping... it's lightening-fast. Often same day[especially when you're a long-time customer]that's 1 thing about them... they value loyalty... and reward you for it. The Fastest Order Ever

It was late on a Friday night after 5-PM and I called Sweetwater and asked them could they get an order to me right away. The next day my doorbell rang at my business and FedEx was delivering my order on Saturday before noon? How can this be? That was an 8 Hour turnaround time. A Salesman named Travis just hustled and got my order to me right away. My experience was Sweet with Sweetwater. I will tell all my friends to do business with Sweetwater because I am a very satisfied cutomer.
