I signed up for Swagbucks years ago but only began actively participating about 2 months ago. I have made $100 in this time, mostly from watching videos & completing surveys. I do have 4 referrals but only one is active & only for 2 weeks. My only trial offer was joining Dollar Shave Club, which I wanted to try anyway.

The reward is highly dependent upon the amount of time you spend on the program. Im still learning (there is a LOT to look at on the site & I only use my phone) & have limited time available since I work full time & have a long commute.

Surveys seem to be the best $ maker, however you have to go through qualification questions on all of them, which can be lengthy before finding out youre disqualified. Its also common to not receive credit for completed surveys or tasks because the partners activity tracker failed - which is incredibly frustrating if you have proof of completion but do not receive credit.

Definite cons, however also an easy program once you get used to it. Look at Facebook for tips pages, however follow the rules - MANY have their accounts frozen for cheating or even giving the appearance of POSSIBLE cheating, such as using the same device for separate accounts even a single time. Do NOT share devices/computers with another user!

Swagbucks is great, lots of ways to earn SB (points) to redeem for gift cards. I have been using Swagbucks for several years and have earned over $500 in gift cards. I see several negative reviews here and I feel they are unfair. I have had a few instances where SB were not awarded as they should have been and a simple email to customer service has always resulted in the points being added promptly. I have never had an issue with Malware or felt the need to scan my computer after using any Swagbucks link. Like free money? Give them a try!

I have been with them for over a year and I have made around 50 to 75 dollars a month. A lot of my swag bucks points come from on line orders or using products like turbo tax. I t is hard to meet you daily goal but you can do it thought it may take more time than you are willing to spend- I am retired so time I have a lot to spend. The really nice thing is that there are several different way to earn points from shopping, to watching videos to answering surveys. I print out coupons from the coupons.com site under featured orders. For every coupon you use you will receive 10 sb's. Also don't forget search under "play" you can get up to 10 sb's a day playing the free swagbucks games of swagasaurus run, swag jump and swag memory. I have some bad experiences with not getting credit for earned swag bucks that i had earned. Each point adds up and eventually you will have enough for gift cards.

There are some great ways to engage with Swagbucks through their 'Shop' option and get deals on products you actually want to try or would normally buy, but be careful who you are giving your information to when you are taken off the Swagbucks website. The straight-forward surveys have been fine, but I have been taken to a lot of 'free samples' websites that I have regretted giving my information to. You fill out endless information forms and give the same information over and over again, wondering when the free samples are coming. I realized I'm just giving my information to companies who want to sell my information so I get strange calls from all over, different language emails, and weird text messages from who knows where. Swagbucks does say in the fine print below the link they are not responsible for the practices of wherever you're being sent, so I only get deals from online retailers that I've used in the past, I've heard of before, or I can look up the information of.
