I've researched in depth everything about swagbucks before deciding to try it out. The main complaint I have (not only with Swagbucks but every "free" offer site) is that free... doesn't mean free. By this I mean you'll never pay to have an account but you'll also spend about 2-3 weeks to gain enough for maybe a 5 buck gift card. I did Swagbucks for 2 full weeks, including installing the swag button, setting there search as my main search site, daily polls, videos, offers, referrals etc. I wasnt spending a few extra hours of my day, I was dedicated and spending full days. I currently have 109 Swagbucks. 1 Swagbuck =. 01 ¢. So when people rave about the videos... I get confused. You have to watch up to 22 videos to even earn a measly 3 Swagbucks. So I mean do the math. 22 videos anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 mins... Plus the extension page is so jammed with ads it's laggy and takes forever to even get through the ad videos before even seeing the main video. So there's my first dislike. Second, they advertise that you can play free games and earn up to 10 Swagbucks. Wow! That sounds to good to be true. Well because it is. For starters the game aren't free you have to actually register for gsn games and SPEND YOUR OWN MONEY and you only get like 2 swag bucks (remember that's two cents) for every $1 dollar you pay to play. So like do people simply ignore that when that bullcrap their paid reviews... Or are people's simply not evening using Swagbucks Enough to understand how things works?... Conspiracy? Anyways.the only actual free games where you earn I think maybe 1-3 Swagbucks (for free) are swag games. You get to pick from a lush variety of 3 games you've never heard of and are as exciting to play as receiving a bill. Thirdly, unless you're a survey pro (meaning this ain't your first rodeo when it comes to these type of sites) you'll likely never see an approved qualification for a survey. Unless you are fully aware of the type of demographics they are seeking and are willing to fib or you just get lucky don't count on the " get paid 40 Swagbucks for a 9 minute survey... Which turns into a 30-40 minute survey if you bust chance pass the 16 pages of screening.

Hallelujiah and Hooray! --when I redeem my swagbucks for gift cards with money. Relief, thankful and smiles. Much of the activities are entertaining and contribute to my knowledge base. Plus getting cash back as SB from shopping online at places I shop at anyway continues to help with the budget. It's an amazing blessing, almost always. There are some issues with the technical aspects of the Website from time to time, but customer service normally makes up for that. I cannot yet say the same for SWAG IQ. I guess we'll have to see.

If you think you'll be able to do surveys and earn passive income, think again. You won't qualify for the majority of the surveys. Other surveys are kinda sketchy and many people think they collect and sell your info. You can also watch videos and such but people complain about these redirecting to virus sites. Pretty bad. What I use Swagbucks for is to get cashback rewards when shopping and to do the trial deals they offer (i. E. sign up for Hulu at $7/mo and they'll give you $21 in SB). Then I can try out some new services/products and get a good discount or make a little extra money for giftcards. I will say one of the really good things is that there are a lot of giftcards to choose from and many options of price. They also sometimes do discounts on the giftcards.
Overall the 2 star rating is due to the lack of being able to reliably use the site for surveys, and the fact I don't always feel comfortable browsing it as I don't always know where my info is headed...

Notices are sporadic (and usually during the day) so people who work (or have a life) don't always get a chance to participate in obtaining bonus points.
Your Swagbucks IQ needs a lot of work. The buffering and cutting out is so not fair to those of us who would like to participate. The recent one that had folks from Disney as the guest commentators was pointless for me since I could not get any sound and it kept buffering.
This would be a fun game if you could work out the kinks.
