Poor service, sizes run small, don't offer replacements or offer to alter suit
Great fit and quality. Everything worked as expected.
Studio Suits have been wonderful to deal with and I will be purchasing more pieces from them in the future as I love what I have purchased to date and love some of the other outfits.
Disappointed the back vent is down the middle not on the sides
The trousers is good fit, and fabric is excellent. Delivery is very much as advised by your company.
Your customer service is of very high quality. Thank you
Enjoy perusing the different unique fabrics available- thank you - this is my first order so waiting patiently to see the fit. Cheers! Bob Hart
A little difficult to understand shipping slips as they were in an eastern language as this product is made in India, but it arrive on time and the condition is great
Ordered the suit for a wedding and studio suits was quick to follow up and request additional information. They were also able to get the suit to me well before the wedding which gave me time to make any additional alterations, but none were needed as the fit was nearly perfect right out of the box. Quality was really good, very comfortable suit, and the shipping was very fast. Customer service was spot on as well. Will definitely return for any future suit needs.
They were helpful and answered emails promptly about adding a vest to the suit
I purchased a custom suit from this website. Had two professional tailors measure me using the website's guidance so I wouldn't screw it up (this was my wedding suit).
The first red flag was when I saw where the suit was shipping from: Mumbai, India. Everything on the site led me to believe this would be Italian made, but only the fabric is.
When the suit arrived the jacket was completely mis-tailored. It looked like I had shoulder pads from the 80s Golden Girls series. I took it to a real Italian tailor and he quoted me $200 to fix it and said it would be cheaper to just buy a new one.
When I contacted the slow and frustrating customer service, they admitted the tailoring error but would not replace the suit jacket. Only offer me a discount on a new jacket or a $75 tailoring assistance fee.
I accepted the tailoring assistance after much back and forth and guess what? It was only a $75 site credit. Not a real dollar amount that I could use for the tailor! Again, I was tricked by this company.
AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY CUSTOM FIT GARMENT.
Nice website and product display. Easy ordering process. Good price point.
All the groomsmen for my brother's wedding got matching suits, and everything about my experience, from ordering to the final product, was awful.
Lots of customization options, but no way to actually tell how they'll look; everything is just a cartoon icon, not an actual image of a garment. Even when choosing fabrics, the options are just an extreme close-up of the fabric, not an image of a garment made of that fabric.
Then measurements: I went to professional tailors to have measurements taken, because I figured they'd be somewhat industry-standard, and ensure a better fit than trying to do them myself, but even the professionals were confused about why certain measurements were needed, why certain others were not, and how they should be taken. Some measurements can only be taken from an existing well-fitting garment; what's the point of ordering a custom-tailored suit if you can't do so without already having another, better way to get one, or having the measurements be exactly the same as something you bought off the rack?
Payment was easy, because it's done through PayPal, which studiosuits has nothing to do with, so they get no points for that.
At the time I ordered, it said delivery should be within 2-3 weeks. It actually took nearly 5. Part of this was a 3-day delay which was partially my own fault, as they ran out of the lining material I ordered, and I didn't see the email asking me to pick a new one right away, because the email address I gave them is the one I rarely check, and use to sign up for accounts that I suspect will spam me with ads every single day, which I was also right about in this case.
Shipping was quick and easy, but again, it was done through a 3rd party company, so no credit to studiosuits on that account.
Now the suit has actually arrived, and it doesn't even fit. The jacket is too big in the shoulders, and then it just goes straight down from there, not tapered at the waist at all, and the pants are too long; somehow at 6'2" and nearly 30 years old, I still feel like I'm a kid playing dress-up in my dad's clothes. I took it to get altered, a possibility I had planned for, but since it took twice as long as expected to actually receive the suit, the tailor only had one week to make adjustments instead of the 3 that I had planned for, and told me nothing could be done about the shoulders in that time, they could only take in the waist on the jacket a bit and hem the pants. It's somewhat better now, but still looks quite baggy, nothing at all like a custom-tailored suit should look.
The site claims they will cover alteration costs up to a certain limit, and offer compensation if what they send you does not match the measurements you gave them; I have yet to try either of these but based on my experience so far I'm not hopeful, and also even if they do, it doesn't change the fact that I now have to wear an ill-fitting suit to my brother's wedding. I would strongly advise anyone to not use this site.
Colour was much darker, sizing was way to big. Would strongly recommend you avoid this website
Quick and easy. Can save my info for use with future orders. Was even given a guide for how to get my measurements at home.
Ordered two shirts with custom sizing. 2nd order made adjustments, but still not a great fit. Figured the first order would be the range-finder and expected the second to be pretty good. Can't keep spending good money to refine my correct size.
The company is very shady. They didn't take returns and they were late on shipping what I ordered
Even though I provided my measurements, my suit arrived with some really awkward measurements. The jacket was way too long, sleeves too long, vest was too big. The pants ALMOST fit well, but even they had to have some length taken out.
The suit material was decent, but I had to take the suit to a tailor to get it all fixed for my wedding day. What is the point of providing StuidoSuits my measurements if they are going to ignore them?
Answer: You cannot call these folks. They do not provide a phone number
Answer: Agreed! Please remove it. This company is a scam and is misleading people
Answer: It takes about 1 month but mostly due to shipping. I was unsure as i never ordered a suit online. From my experience it was a huge mistake. And to add insult to injury the company want more monies to fix their mistakes. My recommendation is to read reviews outside the boundaries of the company. Seems obvious but necessary
Answer: Was your suit ever delivered to you? I am interested in purchasing a suit from Studio Suits. And how long did it take?
Answer: Bad choice: They sell Donegal Tweed, but they deliver some sub-standard wool fabric. No fit, no proper construction, cannot even do a proper shoulder line. Dreadful.
