A big scam. I applied for a payday loan and was told i was accepted for £450, sent my bank details and card details as requested expecting the money to be paid in but i was then told it was for a catalogue, i didnt order anything but then when i checked my bank they had emptied my account. I phoned them up and when they answered they laughed at me down the phone and told me there was nothing they could do about it, i said it was fraud and they said they didnt care and that my bank had authorised it so it couldnt be fraud. I got in touch with my bank and they returned the money to me and said i would have to give a statement to the police and to the fraud team. This 100% is a scam as the police confirmed it to me, so if they havent scammed you yet then they will do at some point... BEWARE!

Again i hope i read this before ive applied! I was looking for a cash loan and got that! 300£ and i thought ok its a store catalogue i needed the money for some furniture so i'll be able use it anyway. But i didnt find anything worthy and interesting so i just left it. And then 75 quid went of my bank! I rung them they've cancelled my account but never give my money back as they say it was administration fee that they cant refund!

The big problem with them is that they don't explain clearly enough what their service is and how it works etc, this is why I think they are getting a lot of bad reviews and why many understandably think they are a bunch of scam artists, I don't think they are but I can see why a lot do think they are, it's the companies fault for their lack of communication, if a company doesn't answer emails or other kinds of messages then of course people are going to get concerned that it might be a scam, the company ought to understand this and answer any form of contact promptly otherwise they will lose business by the bucket load and get a bad rep, so it's in their interest, the idea itself is alright though.

If you're reading this, then the chances are you've already been caught out by this scamming bunch of thieves so if you have, then i would advise you not to waste your time even bothering to contact them, simply contact your bank and cancel your Continuous Payment Authority (CPA) IMMEDIATELY! You do NOT have to ask/tell the lender ok? If you have any doubts that this is correct then type 'FCA CPA' into your search engine and then read and learn. NOW THEN FOLKS... Store-Credit.co.uk, CatalogClub.co.uk are one and the same, these names being used by the companies; 'SELL-BUY-RETURN LTD.' (registered company no. *******) who it would seem are about to be struck off of the FCA business register and dissolved, and; 'R3TAIL LOGIC LTD.'(*******) who as far as i'm concerned are ALSO one and the same! Now then, these 'companies' along with others which i shall name in a bit, are run and owned by about 3 or 4 individuals who typically start a company, own £1 shares in it, appoint themselves director or secretary, resign after a few months and then start another company with a new name and address. In the meantime their previous 'company' gets struck off and dissolved. I have also discovered that these individuals sometimes make slight alterations to their names and dates of birth... naughty naughty!
Right then boys and girls, here are some names to remember and google; HARRISON SCOTT; MR GARY THOMAS ROBERTS(d. O. b. 23/05/1965); DARREN CARL HEARN. These seem to be the main players but there are a few others and SCOTT & ROBERTS have different versions of their names, and HEARN has at least 2 different birthdays! I dont have any other names, or versions of these names in front of me at the moment and i want to finish this review and have a cup of tea, but they ARE out there so get googling like i did and you'll get the picture, along with lots of different addresses, mostly in the Manchester and Chester areas. Here is the name and address of one of their other companies for now and i will publish more names, addresses and info on this page in the near future. I hope this helps or interests some of you. My bank want proof that it originally advertised it as a cash loan but I can't remember what site it was that took me to them? As when you go on store-credit.co.uk it just advertises the credit option which we all know this wasn't what we originally was told when we where all trying to get the cash loan we surposedly where told we where accepted for. Anyone help and remember how they got to this company through a loan search and which site it was?

I have also been scammed by this company! I applied for a £300 loan and then gave my bank details to have the funds put in and then find out that it is some kind of catalogue? Completely misleading and underhand. They also tried to take money out of my account that I didn't have on Christmas day. I didn't order anything or get any money yet they tried to take my money. I am on income support and have no money. They are targeting the poor. I wish I had done my homework instead of being conned. I've contacted the Ombudsman and Trading Standards and my bank.

This company is an absolute disgrace it robs people who are obviously in desperate need of credit... such as myself looked into getting a few items for Christmas applied didn't make an order because the stick they were offering wasn't very good at all! They tried to take some money out of my account even though I hadn't ordered anything; fortunately I didn't have enough money in my account for them to take they now say I owe them £200... for what?
