2 times in the YEARS I've been buying storage units, I have left stuff. 1st time I had an emergency out of state. My mother past away and the other time I got very I'll. They suspended my account indefinitely! I have spent alot of money buying these storages and have gotten alot of garbage but, I never complained about that! Life happens sometimes and considering all the storages I have bought and CLEANED OUT I think it was wrong for them to do that. They act like I committed a crime
They dont care about anything someone bid on my account months ago I knew nothing about it and they suspended me for something I didnt do and they could care less DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY COULD CARE LESS!
Unit was filled with bicycle boxes that were filled with more flattened boxes and regular boxes filled with smaller empty boxes. Over half the unit was cardboard. There were
13 bicycles in back of unit that were from thrift stores and all were broken. Every other item had a Goodwill or Value Village tag on it. The guy who took me out to open unit said he was bidding on it and knew the unit owner! TOTAL SCAM!
I have used this sight for years to buy auctions with no problems. Bought an auction and it was disintegrated by mice and roaches. Told storage place to keep my deposit and the stuff. Even though I should have demanded my deposit back. They stopped me from even buying units which is my major income. So disgusted by these people right now. Was told it doesn't matter if the storage unit is at fault for it all being destroyed I still had to pay and remove contents. I don't think so. Why would I pay for garbage?
I bid on an auction that was supposed to have ended today 11/4. However, once it counted down to 0, the clock reset on all 4 Extra Space auctions by 24 hours. I emailed them to complain, and Sarafina (Storage treasures employee) actually had the nerve to deny that they had this ability. What a joke! Apparently it has happened to several other bidders on this site just from my reading the previous reviews here. This was message she sent:
Thank you for contacting Storage Treasures, we understand your concerns.
There wouldn't be a way for the time to reset 24hrs, we do have a feature for auction when if someone tries to bid last minutes the auction will add 3-5 minutes but that is the only feature we have.
Unfortunately, all bids placed on the website are legally binding contracts. Therefore, we are unable to retract the bid that you are requesting. Hopefully someone will outbid you by the end of the auction.
However, if you do win the auction, please note that you will still be responsible for paying for and picking up the unit.
We do not want to suspend your account, so please ensure that if you do win this auction, you follow the proper procedures to pay for and clean out the unit by the end of the clean out period.
I apologize that we cannot assist more with this auction. If you do have any additional questions, please contact our Customer Support Department at *******503 or reply via email.

I have tried numerous times to register on there website but it is always not working and you have to give them your credit card and charge you 10.00 to bid on each unit big tipoff storage units should have live auctions because they would make allot more money and its easier than these 3rd party interlopers. I just dont get it..
Won a private auction. The seller was bipolar changing time for me to clean out unit. I contacted support about sellers behavior every step of the way. After finally having enough and fearing it was a scam I demanded my buying fees paid to website. They tell me My account was banned because I was connected to someone with a banned account. So they canceled the invoice but still kept my buying fees. How is that ok? BTW the banned Account I was connected to was who referred me. He was banned after failing to pick up a unit due to his mother suddenly passing away from a car accident. I personally contacted support and the seller to respectfully let them know. However he still was banned. These people are heartless Thieves!
The "new and improved" version is far from that. It's harder to navigate and you can't see the auctions you've bid on once they have ended. If I hit the back button it works once. Look at a second unit, hit the back button, and it goes back to the national page. Start all over every two units. Other small auction sites are much more user friendly.
I have been buying storage for over 20 years yes I got some great ones made lots of money but now I am telling y'all it is all about storage making money they r being stage more then people knows all storage treasure ion knowing they r being stage don't care it is against the law to stage a suction but the higher it goes as well as u know the more storage treasures make so the money is way important them they care about ripping off their customers this needs to stop believe the customers ehen they say they got rip off by staging it is a hole new ballgame ripping people off is sad
When I started my account with storage treasures they misinformed me of rules of canceling auctions, I was told make sure I canceled before the end of the auction or I would be charged $20, now they are trying to charge me regardless of there mistakes, storage treasures is a big scam.
I want to auction yesterday and went today to pick it up and was told that the auction was canceled and I know they can do last minute I've been called the facility to make sure that I still have possession of the unit and was on route to pay for it. When I went there I was told it was canceled despite my efforts calling 10 minutes before I left my house. Spent 45 minutes driving there in 45 minutes driving back now anyways time I guess and with frustration. I've been doing auctions for the last 15 years before the show and before this dumb $#*! website. This probably happened to me at least 7 to 8 times. The Facility did email me and a call to give notification that it was canceled but not all the time
Id say to happed. Eight times and span of 1yrs apart. But the last two times no call. This time I've had it and now I have proof. Buyer beware. Storage auction hunting used to be fun but now it's been monopolized and controlled by the site who has no recourse or nor care about auction buyers For the lack of responsibility. Adri dumb $#*! by anything or have time to waste but this time I had enough
Most of the people that havnt have a good experience dont read before they bid. The office admin support is excellent. I have got some great stuff. If you bid on a locker and dint like the contents its on you. You see the pictures nothing is hidden. For the people who dont pick up in the alloted time just dont bid. Nothing but positive experiences from me
I am a swap meet vendor who buys lien units for resale. Covid shut down live auctions in Hawaii. Storage Treasures is the only game in town now.
In 2020, I purchased five units. The first three ranged from soso to excellent.
Everything went sideways on the last two lockers. On the forth one, I paid $100 for a 5 x 10 filled with heavy equiment with grainy photos that were staged. I entered the storage office to put down my deposit for clean up and come face to face with a large poster encouraging the tenants to donate their unwanted "junk" to be auctioned off for "chariy"
I specifically unclick managers specioals and charity lockers every time I click on a locker. The Storage Treasures web page is rigged to include the undesired units with each unit, so I need to be on the ball, and I am.
I open the unit to find it full of broken pressed wood furniture and a hand truck(heavy equipment?)
The cost of disposing of this crap was more than my $100 deposit, so I walked away. Bear in mind, Storage treasures got their fee regardless of what I encounter. I was forced to cut my losses. They have no grievance with me, yet they suspended my account anyway. Apparently, it's not enough to be a victim of these a-holes, they demand willing victims.
I watched a auction I had winning bid on count down to 0. Then just reset to 24 hrs now they say sorry about your luck. Please help me help u do not bid on this site!
The Managers are so tricky the take the bad pics so they can have for them what they want. Went is Motorcycle Bikes and good stuff they cancel. They need to go back live.
The auction post on "Storage Treasures" include a photo of a staged storage unit dated after the alledged lien was created. The staged photo showed a printer box and was represented as having electronic item's in the unit. All the boxes were filled with trash except a broken moniter. When I brought it to the attention of "Storage Treasures" the irregularities they told me they do not require their seller to not do anything illegal or deceptive. I see now hy "Storage Treasures" has such a low review rating. This is what I recieved in an e-mail from "Storage Treasures". I made several phone call and was told it was between me and the seller and they were not responsibnle.

Hello Dale,
Thank you for contacting us at StorageTreasures. We understand your concern. We do extensive training with the facilities, which includes suggesting that in order to preserve the integrity of the auction they have to follow all local lien laws. They do use our software but they check the boxes saying the local lien laws are being followed. I would recommend reaching out to the facility manager or upper management if you feel otherwise.
If there is anything else we can help you with, do not hesitate to call us at *******503 or reach out to us at *******@storagetreasures.com.

Set up an appointment after auction closed, only to get a call back to inform me that the owner of the unit had "settled." Why even allow facilities to post listings if they can back out at any time. I also agree with others that people are rumaging through lockers ahead of time, there is no quality control or accountability for what's being posted.
Edit: turns out storagetreasures still felt the need to charge me 40$ cancelation fee, despite the facility being the ones to cancel. Really have nothing good to say about this company
I won an auction on storagetreasures.com and, as instructed on the website I called the storage facility to tell them I was coming. On the phone she said, "yes come on" so I drove across town to claim and empty it. When I arrived there was only one woman working there. She confirmed that she was the one I spoke with but I would have to wait 30 minutes for her to finish her lunch break. After waiting in my car for 30 minutes I went back in and she told me that the owner had paid the balance and I couldn't have the unit. According to the storage facilities computer the owner had paid at 2:15 PM, the auction didn't even end until 3 PM. So apparently the owner had paid for the unit long before I won the auction... ridiculous! I called customer service, they said there's nothing they can do about it. In fact, because I raise my voice slightly at the girl for making me wait through her lunch break to tell me that, the customer service rep from storagetreasures.com told me they had banned me from bidding on storage units at that location,... seriously! This storage facility was an hour away from my house. The time wasted... ugh! I will never use storagetreasures.com again! Everything about the situation was shady!
Answer: Plase be careful this unit are from people who already purchased units took what's good then resale what's not worth to them.
Answer: My apologies for the delay. You should be able to find the link under Recent Bids, by searching for the Auction ID. If you don't want to do that, we can send you the link. Please contact our Customer Support team at (480) 397.6503
Answer: Hi Tasha, We are sorry to hear about your struggles. I recommend asking the storage facility to pass your contact information to the winning bidder of the auction. It will be up to the winner to decide to contact if they want to discuss returning of some items.
Answer: Hi John, I understand your concern and want to assure you that we do not try to scam any of our customers. If there is ever a situation where we can assist, we will do all we can for you.
Answer: Hi Givetheropeiftheydonthan K, We can help you find that information. The Sold auctions stay on the website, but they are not searchable. Please give us a call at 480.397.6503 or send us an email. We can find the link to the auction, the auction page will include the sale price and the time it ended.
Answer: When you buy, its as is, NO REFUNDS. Storage treasures works for the storage units, no audits These places Now are showcasing units and scamming new buyers, You are buying dump runs, why do you think they are asking for $200 cleaning deposits, because they want the buyer to remove the trash, and even sweep the units
