This site is a scam to the buyers, no more in person auctions, yet they are running this online auctions as if it was in person,even live auctions end when the auction rep calls last call, if your bid is not in you loose the opportunity to bid bid again,

I was watching an auction and waiting to make my bid, 45 seconds before the end time for the auction, placed my bid and the auction time extended the close time 3 minutes more, it done this 4 times to me, extended from 9:30 original end time to 9:40
I was the high bidder with a proxy to cover any other bids, they kept extending the auction end time, and letting new bids happen repeatedly,

When I called to speak with the rep on the phone, he was very rude, and short tempered.
His attitude was,
I was wrong and their is nothing I can do,
there is a bad play going between the auction sites and the facilities where the unit is located, they cover each other with a run around to their buyers, until they get so frustrated they give up,
WATCH OUT!
You will get scammed, read their reviews, hundreds of negative reviews about their scam practices

When an auction end time is listed,
The auction and all bids SHOULD be in and the system should tally the winner automatically this includes any proxy bids made before the end time listed.
It's a computer system,
NOT rocket science, instead a system scam to buyers,

ALL bids Should be in, no more bids,,
FOUL Crooked Sales scam to buyer customers who are trusting their system,

After reading many, many reviews online, hundreds in fact!

So many more negative then the few good fake reviews listed to try and mislead the public,, I see that this has been an issue with many buyers using this site,
Coupled with excessive extra fees applied to cards for no reason listed, that are not disclosed,

Lockers being ruffled through by management after listing
Valuable items removed from units after pictures were taken and unit was listed for auction sales,

Canceled auctions to winning buyers and fees charged with no reason disclosed and no refunds on these excess fees,

Watch your credit cards in their system,
The facility should read their customer reviews, they are pretty messed up,

Storage treasures is a shady company and are some not all of the facility on thier sight don't believe you will find any treasures in the units they let the facility employees go though the units and pick and choose what a bidder can have and then when you confront them about it they are rude, short with you and make it look like you are in the wrong. Just be mindful of wut unit/facility you are buying and don't ever think storeage treasures will have your back in any kind of dispute with a facility or its employees to them you are nothing and they don't want to hear what you have to say. Even though you are the one making their money.be safe and watch what you buy and from which facility there is alot of shady deals going on behind the closed doors with these shady facilities and their employees

Unlike auctionspear.com, which is one site where people auction off items, many of them gotten from storage units they have purchased, Storage Treasures does not assign numbers to or show individual bidders. You could be bidding against one person, many people or the storage place the unit is located at. Lets face it, this is a buyer beware type of business.
Some units are more profitable than others.
It might help if there were a few traps out there for locations that cheat buyers.
And, maybe, there needs to be a site where storage locations can be reported on by those who buy storage units and sell their contents. It might improve honesty.
If you have a problem or concern with a particular location, start by reporting them to Strorage Treasures.

Premium fees are 25%! Won "mgrs special"- i paid to take garbage to the dump! Dont bid on those!

Fake company.

You win the auction and they invent that there was another bid, they don't explain where or how!

You have a print of the canvas that won the auction but they choose who they want to sell to

When I made there were 8 bids with this 9

And according to the customer service someone else won for $125

The company storage treasures makes it seem like your getting a fair deal until you purchase larger or more expensive units over $100 then you discover they have added extra money to their pockets you didn't know about. The bidding system is rigged and unfair because its free and unregulated to make as many accounts as you want and you can fake your name, its impossible to tell whether they themselves are pad bidding to get higher money for themselves. What started out seeming good is a huge rip-off for example you bid $10 on A UNIT ironically nobody else shows interest or bids till the last few seconds making it seem fake, and $10 is all of a sudden 100 and off the $100 they bill your "on file credit card" an extra $18 is taken, then they charge you tax and storage facility fees in addition what was $120 is now $155 and they do this tactic on every unit. It definitely feels like they purposely let you win a few to trick you into bigger purchases that are outrageous in fees. Leaving you no choice but to ignore the units you won and lose the ability to use that same email but dont worry another new free one can be made in seconds to cheat the bidding system with no way to prove its not the facility itself out bidding you which it likely is or storage treasures themselves so they can take a non refundable 20% off your credit card. What feels to good to be true is and it feels like fraud to me an experienced site user

I actually love storage treasures it's some of the facilities that's the problem "cube smart #0697" will auction rooms and then come up with a reason you can't get the room after you won my advise be cautious when bidden on their rooms

They take stuff out of the storage is that you have by they don't they take pictures and then when you buy it it's not the same stuff that you have buy the managers and the supervisors of the facilities are all on it. Austin tx. Public storage locations

It is not really an auction to the highest bidder, It decided which auctions you win. If you're not meant to get a certain unit when you go to bed it will freezeAnd continue to freeze every time you try. I bid it on 2 Auctions the same day, same time. No issues with the one auction but with the other 1 the app kept freezing so I could not submit my bids. And when I talked to customer service they said it was my cell phone not their app. And it's done this to me 3 times now. So I lost an auction because of it. I'm tired of it I'll go somewhere else.

I place a bid on one of the units and next day there was showing that i m biding on 2 units. Call customer service asking to remove the 2nd unit that i didnt bid and i didnt even see it before. The representative said he cant help because i already place my bid and the only one way if some one over bid me. I asked for manager, manager wasnt available at this moment. Once again, I did not bid on this unit, how ever it showed on my account. It can be a website problem or some one using my account. And if it is, i did not get any help from customer service.

This website charges illegal fees such as tax and a premium fee, I bought a unit from a scammer they wouldn't refund the fees

Complete shysters unethical business It will not refund your card under any circumstances even after they hit you with fees that were not discussed in amounts that were not discussed and even when you're not the winning bidder on the auction they will still hit your car days later and will not refund it to you under any circumstances do not do business with this company unless you want to pay absorbent fees are not discussed ahead of time on your card even if you don't win

They just hooked me. I've been using them for almost six months with no major issues. However I got a winning unit invoice dated yesterday 2/24/22 which I paid for today. Immediately the invoice changed to Default and directed seller not to release contents to me because I failed to pick up contents before allotted time, though I have the screenshot of the initial invoice dating pick up before 2/27/22. Customer service is completely uncooperative and obviously aware that they scam people, and when I requested a supervisor she refused. Actually REFUSED to get one. This is beyond belief. I've already placed a call to my attorney, and I'm letting everyone know in as many places as I can to ward off people from getting taken like this. Thank God I have the proof in writing.

I am a private seller. I've recently been on the look out for storage unit that is not on their prohibited list which took a long time because of my area. When I found the storage unit I made sure it wasn't on the list and I even called them to make sure there wasn't going to be any problem with that facility. They re-assured me and I purchased the unit. All night I placed the items on my unit and I worked on the listing that night and my facility was not showing up on my account so I had to call next morning and add the facility and when I posted it the auction was immediately canceled. I called they first said it was because my credit card was not on file, I have them my card info. Nothing was still working, I called someone named Elly then answered saying the facility was just added to the list coincidentally so I was not able to post the auction. I spent $300 on my unit and was on the phone with them prior so many times and no one said anything until I decided to post. They said there is nothing they can do and that it was added on the 10th of February but the other representative said it was the day before so they were contradicting themselves. Very unprofessional and doesn't care for their sellers or buyers.

The first and second pictures you see a piece of cardboard up against the back wall, a picture frame up against the right side wall with 3 shoe boxes next to it (Nike, Air Jordan and one I can't make out) floor is pretty much clean.

Pictures 3,4, and 5 show the cardboard that wad up against the back wall is now in center of unit, the floor there is stuff everywhere, the picture frame on the right side of wall is untouched, but the 3 pairs of shoes are GONE@!@! WHAT'S GOING ON? THE AUCTION IS STILL LIVE, HOW DOES THIS STUFF MOVE? What a shady thing to do... wonder how many other units they do this to...

People are making fake accounts to bid up the units in order to buy it as a back up bidder. I'm one of your biggest buyers and I do not want to start doing this also.

I put a bid for a storage unit in Fort Pierce Florida sadly I have to stay home because I been sick and I have covid symptoms the lady told me that basically she doesn't care and that if I don't get it cleaned today 01/28/22 she was not gonna allow me to bid or do anything anymore.
I said please I'm sick her anwer was you will be banned

First off, you have to realize that StorageTreasures doesn't run the storage facilities and it's often not their fault when a unit is pulled from auction. One thing I -have- noticed is how many times auctions end for exactly my highest bid. As a buyer on ebay for over 20 years this is pretty suspicious but hey, maybe just coincidence. And the amount of auctions cancelled due to paperwork issues or being settled is getting a little crazy. Seems like the storage facilities are just too eager to list the units before making sure they can be sold. Take this one for example... had one yesterday that I won, was charged for, but then got a phone call saying they messed up the paperwork and they had to send a new certified letter to the occupant before they could sell the unit & it would have to be relisted. Magically it was back up for auction two days later. That's some fast paperwork and mail service! Or did it just not end for enough... hmm...
