I use steam daily for playing games and own 300+ games on steam. The best part about steam is there are many free to play games and apart from them the prices are low, with a steam sale which happens almost 5 times in a year you can get a game for fraction of its original price.
Today, recieved an alert via SMS, asking me if the 199.24 charge was authorized by me for this Fraudulent website. 5 minutes later another unauthorized charge for 499.67. I have never even heard of this website. Im so pissed! Called bank filled a Fraudulent charge claim. Now I have to wait to get my money back. Seems like from other reviews this has been going on for years. Sick people, Karma is a $#*!.
Over the years I've tried and used multiple gaming launchers, and Steam has by far remained my favourites throughout the years. It's also the one with the least scandals, I believe, and has a relatively easy to access customer support.
It's easy and safe to buy games, it's very easy to use and has a very clear lay-out, and the sales are really nice. I once bought about 7 games for 5 euros, as well as been gifted 11 games for a similar price. It has a lot of major games, and it's very easy to invite friends to games as well as accept invites and join other games.
I love Steam. There is always a new (or old) game for me to find to play. Lots of free to play games as well as ones you do pay for. Their sales (summer, winter, etc) tend to have something from my wishlist. I also love how many games have bundles available, bringing down the overall price if you buy a pack/collection.
Horrible, I dont even have an account, and I have money missing from my account! I want my money back you $#*!s! Stealing from people is wrong!
Just got charge 450 AED from my debit card and i dont have any idea about this company. Never used my card of any online payments and im wondering how they got all the info for the transactions to pushed through. Called the bank already and blocked my account and hoping for the amount to be credited back. Careful everyone.
Woke up to several unauthorized charges on my cc. Never heard of this site. Don't need something else to worry about.
I was charged for things I never ordered. $109.09. This is a scam. I don't know how these businesses keep functioning.
I downloaded a game and it stopped working after 20 minutes. I reset and launched it again and game gets stuck during launch. They count the 'launch' time as playing time so in their minds i 'played' for 4 hours. But in reality, game was just stuck at launching. They refuse to issue a refund. Crooks and fraudulent. They will be reported to consumer affairs and the bbb.
My bank account got hacked for $300. Never heard of this company. They tried 3 times and the last on try it went through, had to close my account and start again and now waiting for the bank to reimburse me. I see I'm far from the only person this has happened to. This needs to stop.
I woke up this morning and R6000 +-450 dollars has been stolen out of my account. I don't even know what steam games is.
I had no idea who this company is and certainly did not authorize the hundreds of $$$ they tried to steal from my account. One charge of $170 went through but the other $100 charges were kicked back. I spoke with my bank who had put a block on my card and have filed a claim on the $170. Now I'm being sent a new card. Cyber thievery at its most nefarious. I ate at a Chinese restaurant last night and sometime between then and this morning is when the fraudulent charges occured. I can't help thinking now that this FRAUD and the restaurant are connected. I'm digging deep to find out more. Thank God for my bank being on the alert for this or I'd have been wiped out.
Did anyone else apply for Experian before being scammed by STEAMGAMES?
I think the two are connected because I had to add my bank account information in order to apply.
DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THESE POSERS. 5 FRAUDULENT $10 CHARGES TO MY CREDIT CARD. STAY AWAY!
Made 4 separate back to back unauthorized transactions for $100 each on my bank account! What a crappy company!
Woke up to a text alert from my bank saying that they tried three times to charge my debit card the last time being successful. This company needs to be shut down!
When I totally lost my email (service provider shut down its services), their support helped.me.in geting back access to it.

Ive never hard of this website and was charged $200 this morning. Luckily I check my account everyday, called my bank right away and they cancelled my debit card and are sending me a new one. How the hell did they get my info? Also it seems like this has been happening for a few years now and it hasn't stopped,. WTF! This is scary $#*! and really pisses me off. I feel like this could happen again!
Charged 100 dollars to my account. Tried again. Bank flagged as fraud and declined 2nd transaction. Scammers
I played A LOT Left 4 Dead and Half Life back in the day. Their were 2 of the best games i've every played. Now, can you guys ever clarify if we are someday having Half Life 3?
