I purchased an item through the Boing-Boing store, and when it was delivered, it only worked twice before failing. The only way to reach StackSocial is through the web, and I have gotten no response whatsoever to my defective item inquiry. Actually called the manufacturer, and left a voicemail (not too hopeful of a response from them either). Wish I had seen this site before purchase.
Ordered a product from this worthless merchant and they were very good at collecting money but i never received a order confirmation email or any proof of purchase info no delivery date expectation. Nothing. I attempted to contact them by phone but they did not answer and they would not call me back. I sent multiple emails to them and finally one rep answered back with a useless response. Avoid this merchant they are a scam.

Stay away from StackSocial, I bought two products from them and both were faulty in some way. The first product was outright broken when it came in the mail and when I complained to StackSocial, they refused to take responsibility as usual and told me to contact the company that makes the product directly. Thankfully, in that case, the company and its support staff were very help and promptly replaced the broken product, no thanks to StackSocial. The 2nd product I bought was a lifetime subscription code for BartVPN, a service which worked once and never again. Again I contacted StackSocial and they refused to help and told me to contact BartVPN directly, great advice other than the fact that BartVPN refuses to answer any emails or forum posts. You would think StackSocial, a storefront that is directly selling said company's product would have direct communication with them, but they absolutely refuse to help in any way. On top of that, they refused to refund me as well. Stay faaaaar away from StackSocial for your own good, most of what they sell is scam. I will never buy from them ever again.

Shipped my order to some lucky bloke in FL. No response from anyone since I've filed a complaint. WTF? I can see I'm not the only one with this problem, this is pretty frustrating considering they make you wait for 2 weeks before they ship anything anyways.
Ordered 2 items from StackSocial almost 1 month ago, received one item promptly. The other item has not arrived, although it does show as "shipped" by vendor.
My first email from support was cheery, and asked for my patience. A week later, I asked for an update with an online support person, who after asking to confirm the item ordered, simply left the chat room.
Update: Item arrived eventually. Adding 1 star. Not likely to order again...
I sent another email asking for an update 2 days ago, but have not heard back.

Beware of this company, they are scma artists. They sell you product without screen shots or demo opportunities. Then, after you buy, you realize the "courses" are shotty, low-grade, not educational at all.
When I asked for an immediate refund (within 24 hours) they informed me, "unable to grant your request for a refund as we are contractually tied to a no refund policy".
So, they rope you in with low prices, then the product is worthless, then no refund policy.
The ad for JavaScript asserts that it starts with the basics for learning JavaScript. What you get is an abstract, high level tutorial which is meaningless to an individual not well versed in JavaScript. I asked for a refund in less than 24 hours and was told 'no'. Another false come on is that it is discounted to $29.00 from $1,080.00-that is just a garden variety sales ploy to make you think you are getting this incredible bargain.

These Cretans offer junk. Ordered Atmos vape pen, received cheap copy NOT from Atmos. Zero options to get my $61.56 back. These people need some jail time.

The courses suck! Bought the Javascript bundle course, and the $39 I paid for it was $40 too much. Its only videos, and the instructor is just talking. Impossible to follow along, and doesn't explain anything. This is not a real tutorial. Pure crap.
I got a Linux course on sale valued at $795. What a joke! This junk is not worth the $19 I paid for it. Wish I could get a refund!
After 3 weeks of no item I reach out to customer service and this is the response I get after I explain how dissatisfied I am and how unacceptable this is:
"I'd be happy to help you with tracking information. Please use the following link for the most up-to-date status on your package..."
Not only did the new tracking number provide less information on the status of my shipment but they provided this to a customer that was already unhappy. Horrible customer service and shipping times. This was the second time I ordered a physical item from StackSocial following my "everyone deserves a second chance" rule and they have again disappointed me. I will now order from other sites that care about their customers and get items to their intended destination in less than a month.

They delivered to an incorrect address and asked me to sort it out with the delivery company directly. Took no responsibility on how it was delivered to a POBox when it wasn't the address I inputted. It took over 4 weeks to sort it out myself with the delivery company before I got the iRings i ordered.

Purchased a $15 product on the basis of a 15 day trial. The product was fine but it did not work in my situation. Asked for a refund, told discounted product, sorry no refund, the offered maybe I could have a credit. I emailed back, yes if I have to I will take the credit, and at the same time expressed my customer dissatisfaction. No response as yet, don't expect to. When a company won't refund $15 dollars to a genuine new customer, not a good company with which to transact. Glad it was only $15 I lost. Beware consumers!

This website started out perfect, then as of 2015 it dropped into stupid! I purchased several elearning courses, so many, so much money spent through their affiliate stacksocial.com, and now I login trying to continue my courses, and I click the "My Courses" section, and it takes me to the first page... no problem, all my courses are there, then I click "Next" or Page 2 and it falls apart from there, and it gives me ALL COURSES mixed with my courses, as if I want to buy more... come on really? I have written the company on several occasions with no help, and now, no response. WTH? I can't even complain to BBB about their incompetence because I cant find their address or any other info, if you click "About Us" it goes into "sorry we can't find this page" it's like the website has been hacked. Whoever hacked it, please bring it back!
I screwed up my order and ordered the wrong item. I immediately emailed support and within 24 hours they were able to cancel my order and refund my PayPal account. Dealt with Sean please keep in mind it was my mistake and all sales were final. They went over and beyond to help me thanks
How about less than 1 star? Logon only possible over FaceBook, although logon has an email address field, to make you think you don't need FB, but when you attempt to logon it informs you they aren't that far yet. Purchased over Paypal, but stack social refuses to refund my money. It's in the fine print somewhere. I'd hesitate to give these people ANY money!

I bought an RC Lamborghini Aventador, that was advertised on their website. As I open the box and take it out, the headlight, one of them didn't work. I send an email to them and they reply on ONCE, and that was on the week before Christmas, and now still haven't gotten any response back ever since. I have send at least 5 emails saying that the item was defective, and still haven't gotten any response back. Been at least a month now, still no response back from them. I believe they have completely ignore me. X(

My prior review as "could not get it work". They contracted me and now working. Work good, but not as smooth as Norton Identify Safe did. Norton was having trouble with Firefox so I switched.

I'm not sure why other users have had such a problem. As of today, I have purchased two different bundles and had no problems redeeming bundle codes or enabling courses. So far, the courses seem dead on to what was advertised and labs are spot on for review. Keep in mind that the courses vary on instruction and content as not all instructors teach the same way. I may add to this in the future, but so far I am happy with the purchase.
This is a follow up from my review of StackSocial on 12/24/15. As I promised customer service in three of my many emails, I filed a complaint with the BBB. The day AFTER BBB notified StackSocial of the complaint is the day SS wrote a reply to that review saying how sorry they were and how they wanted to make it right which for me was in the way of a refund.
When it takes a Monitor of Consumer Rights to get them to finally respond to a customer to do what's right morally and ethically, then they remain a company I will no longer do business with.
I would have rated a two or more if they had handled this promptly. They had three weeks before I was forced to waste even more time with the complaint. They only replied after pressure was placed on them by an outside agency. They remain a one because of this.

Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
