A very quick and painless process to obtain a new SSL cert at a VERY reasonable price.
I would advise customers to use the installation instructions provided by SSLS.com -- instructions provided by the original vendor (such as Thawte, in my case) were not entirely accurate.
The instructions provided by SSLS.com worked without any issue.
I'd rather the former website.
2 little problems:
1) At my purchase entry point I was not told that the certificate's only possible subdomain would be 'www' and I needed 'secure'; I didn't discover that until after I had bought it. Luckily, SSLs.com's engine used the CSR's FQDN as the root domain, so the cert still works (for secure.domain... and, rather ridiculously, www.secure.domain...).
2) On the "upload a file to complete activation" page there is (currently) no instruction to look for the cert as an email attachment to the email address specified in the CSR.
All works good with very good price.
