Some information could be better. E.g. We loaded the verification file, but our htaccess file is routing http to https automatically, so the verification didn't work. Anyway, the support was able to help us immediately and without waiting.

Fast & easy checkout. I did have a minor problem with the CSR. I didn't know that I could submit a request through cPanel so I contacted my webhost (Arvixe) support and they gave me the CSR through online chat. But they neglected to provide a private key, which I assume I would have received if I used cPanel. I was unable to complete the SSL installation without the key so I contacted Arvixe again and they installed the certificate for me. When I checked up on the installation in cPanel, I was able to obtain the private key. All this only delayed the process by the length of the two support chats. Altogether the process was smooth and efficient. Both SSLs.com and Arvixe were helpful and responsive and my site is fully protected now. I do have a suggestion for SSLs.com: Include tips on various ways to obtain the CSR, such as cPanel. And include instructions that make it clear that a private key should be generated with -- and associated with -- the CSR since the SSL installation can not be completed without it. Considering the incredibly inexpensive price for the certificate, I am completely satisfied and highly recommend SSLs.com.
