When I use the investigative package I often get invalid information. Example "State Record Search
STATE NAME We identified 1 record related to "NAME WITHELD" in the state of STATE NAME. The name is completely unique (only one listing in the US), but when you drill down on that name, you get a message that says, "Search Complete No Court Records found for "NAME WITHELD" in Oklahoma." There is either something wrong with your data, or you are intentionally giving bad results to force subscribers to use up their limited background searches.

I looked to find a reverse email before making a purchase from someone online. I agreed to the 95 cent charge. I received NO information, a 95v cent charge and a $@% charge for a membership I did not want or agree to. When calling customer service they would only refund $10 of the $25. So I paid about $16 to find out absolutely nothing except do not use Spokeo

My name is Lam and I just have realized that I have paid your monthly subscription of 29,90 dollars. I was not aware of that... I only did an small payment of 1 dollar to see if your product worked, and it didn't. Been talking with them and they won't give me a full refund. I just viewed a report on myself and I am shocked by the amount of data that is wrong. Major things such as my date of birth is wrong, my current and previous addressed are not only wrong but I have never lived at the addresses listed on this report. Almost all of the relatives listed are related to my ex-husband that I have been divorced from for 25 years. There is nothing listed in this report that would be of any benefit considering all of the data is not accurate.

Fake stock blurred report makes it look like the report actually contains info. Then only after paying a fee you get to see the report only to find out the blurred image was fake and the report contains no information that wasn't already available from free caller id apps.

I needed to search a phone number & name because I was made part of a scam on a rental home. The scammers made it look like I was renting out a home in Florida (I work & live in Las Vegas) and I was not. Within a few minutes of signing up for Spokeo I was able to get the information I needed enough to verify it was a scam and call the 3 people who had sent me an email wanting to rent it. I was hoping they hadn't already sent in deposits to hold it. Long story! I even called Spokeo and Customer Service was great.

Answer: Watch for the $20 charge at the end of the month. They say a person is out, then the charge comes a month later. Had to cancel my card and get new # to keep them out of my wallet.
Answer: Three alternatives: 1) Logon with you old Spokeo account and contact customer support. 2) If you can't remember your old logon, 2.1) try a google search to find Spokeo customer service link or telephone number. 2.2) Spokeo has notes on some reviews. Maybe they have included their support number or link? 3) Call Visa and ask them to kill the Spokeo charges to your Visa account.
Answer: Not that I know of but they're slick the moment you put your card info in it saves and if you use something that takes payment they'll charge the card without asking.

Answer: I cancelled Spokeo service due to selling me misinformation or inaccurate information. I got this in writing from David at Spokeo. They are good about sending a letter about we are sorry about not meeting your expectations. Our terms of use states we can do this blah blah blah. After I cancelled this subscription and got this in writing from David, I got a new debit card from my bank. Spokeo found the NEW CARD and charged it. I took the problem to my bank and got a credit. Be very careful of these people, watch your bank statements.
