Customer service offered 2$ off my 200$ bill! Worst customer service I've ever experienced! Paid my bill on time for years! Unable to get service for shows that we pay for for days! Will never use them again rip off is what spectrum is! I advise never use them every since they've switched from TWC to spectrum they are nothing but a rip off! Want their payment but offer nothing for the consumer!... They lie over and over even their recording states tat their demand is down but they only give the consumer a 2$ discount

I have been with Time Warner for a long time and when Spectrum took over I can't seem to cope with it. This is the third month in a row that my bill has increased and I am tired of it. I am at about $223.00 a month without premium channels after 3 months of increases with no explanation, but if I was a new customer I would be paying less than half this! WHY?
Not going to spend much time here. If you ever have a problem, it won't get resolved. Check the reviews across the Internet. They will mislead and refuse to resolve your issues. Buyer beware. Richard should be fired.
This company provides the worst telephone service, the most horrible TV service, and most unreliable internet service available. Today, my landline telephone won't work (big freaking surprise) so I called the company from my mobile phone. I have been on hold for 20 minutes so far and they tried to get me to make an "appointment" for a call back tomorrow or later this afternoon. I HAVE NO FREAKING TELEPHONE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY?!
If they try to get you to sign up for their service, just DON'T!
They lied to me regarding paying my penalty to direct tv for early cancellation. They wont pay AFTER i already sent back my stuff to Direct tv
Started with Time Warner installing a modem upstairs as far from where we "live" as possible, 12 + years of bad internet reception, walking up and down 3-4 times a day to reset the modem & router. Finally after 12+ years of terrible reception & about 10 service calls, a guy tells me he can put a second modem in our den (upstairs now phone, downstairs now internet). Why couldn't any of the others do that? Great internet? But then the prices skyrocketed! So we took channels, extra box off... then home phone but they turned off the wrong modem and we lost internet. But they insisted they didn't, wouldn't believe me! Made me turn the box off/on, off/on, off/on, for an hour. I was patient, finally asked for a visit. Guy comes immediately believes me, fixes it, takes the box. Then we find the alarm won't work w/o home phone or it costs $150 to set up alarm with cells! So we ask to turn home phone back on (no problem) go get modem, call to get it turned on. The woman I get turns off the other modem (you don't need that now). NO! I told her what they'd done with the internet two days ago, went without it for 20 hours. I laughed & said I would find her & kill her. She knew I was joking because she then asked why we need 2 modems. I had to go thru the 15 minute explanation that TW gave me. Why does she need that? Just turn on the stupid modem! After 15 minutes of explanation, I was done. I gave the phone to my husband. No one was there! She had put me on hold and transferred me! He's now been on the phone with someone else for about 15 minutes! You would THINK their records would show we had/have TWO modems and why! No one knows what's going on! Still no home phone working! Oh and why did we want to turn off home phone? Between 20-30 junk calls a day? Their answer? Install nomorobo. We have it. Hmmm... So now the guy my husband is talking to turned on the phone and turned off the internet modem AGAIN! He said he had to turn both off to fix the problem. Both stayed off for about 30 minutes then he turned both on. Finally everything works but what a mess. And what a messed up system they have! The last guy was nice and helpful but their system stinks!
You need a lawyer to explain all the fine print in their contract! They claim to offer a 3 year guaranteed price plan but that not what they tell you when they continue to increase your price! They then tell you they only offered to guarantee your price but not your channels. Then tell you that your price increases are due to regulatory fee increases, so neither of their misleading practices is true! Your price will increase and your service will decrease at the same time and you should know that. SCAM!
I stated with Comcast 13 years ago, then it changed to TimeWarner and now Spectrum. Spectrum is definitely the worst! They offer so little for really high prices and customer service has been rude. The only good thing about them is there is a spectrum app on smart TVs to save from paying for boxes but Frontier offers 6 boxes and the same package for less than what I'm paying at spectrum with only one box. Internet is not very dependable and sometimes spectrum app doesn't work. I hate to switch after 13 years but I can't imagine how high my bill will be in one more year. So peace out Spectrum!
I wish I would have known this was such a bad company before I got with them! First they charge you $200 for activation fee, then less than a month later you get your 1st bill in. To top it off! I get my 2nd bill in and it's due less that a month from when I paid my last! I look at my bill and these buffoon company is charging me for service I haven't received yet! On the bill summary it says service from 04/14/19-05/13/19 and today is 04/23

Their customer service is the worst! I tried to sign up with spectrum and was told certain stations or in the package that I would be paying for which was a complete and total lie. I called the next dayTo cancel and Customer service did not care what I had to say! I will go without TV before I have spectrum television in my home!
This cable company sucks. I have had nothing but problems since they took over Time Warner. Save yourself the hassle an dint even get cable through them. Not to mention there staff an mangers have terrible customer service skills. If I could give them a 0 I would there not worthy of even one star.
I have had service since 1991. First it was Paragon Cable, then Time Warner, now Spectrum. They do not care how long you have been a customer. The bill keeps creeping up a few dollars every few months. I am on auto pay so I don't notice right away. When you call to discuss, they give you some lam excuse. I saw a commercial on TV and noticed an ad on my iPad for new customer rates. I called and asked since the service is in my name, I've been a customer since 1991, my husband has never had service, could we put it in his name and get us a "new" customer rate. Per the representative, "it's not their business model". I pushed the issue where is it in writing, transferred to a Ryan (who was rude and talked over me), I refused to talk to him anymore and asked for someone else. Again, "NO" we can't do that. I thought it was a brilliant idea on my part but you can't have service for 30-days at the address to be qualified as a "new customer". So I will switch to AT&T for 11 or 12 months, then back to Spectrum for 11 or 12 months and keep being a new customer for better rates. I can play their game also and keep saving some money.
I would give a zero if I could. So many errors come up when: trying to watch a recorded show, trying to access recorded shows, trying to access guide.
Also watching live shows the sound goes off or picture gets fuzzy.
Unfortunately there is no other cable service offered in my area of Myrtle Beach. Can't wait to move back to NC to get a different cable service.
When we tried to reduce our bill, they recommended changing from Time Warner to Spectrum. They failed to tell us they were taking away our Internet and one cable box for a $14/month savings. Now they won't let us switch back to our original Time Warner plan. SCAM! Many hours of frustrating, lousy customer service and our bill WENT UP!
When it was Charter they had great service and pricing. Now the service is deplorable and when your an existing customer they don't appreciate your loyalty- they just raise the price year after year. When you leave them they don't care either and don't ask why your leaving or do anything to keep you.

I am in the field of the industrial company customer service, I know what makes the customer happy. Their service is the worst one I've ever had.
Worse company ever. Charge a fortune and hire the most stupid people ever, no interent for 4 days. Oh wait i mean i get it but it keeps out ever 20 mins all day long. Send a technician 2 days in a row, and low and beyond issue still not fixed.

I have had service with this company for one month and my internet cuts out non stop. I have had a tech come out to my house they said nothing is wrong it has to be at the pole. The tech said he would send someone out to check the pole and fix the issues. Well that was 2 weeks ago and the problem still hasn't been fixed. My bill is due now and I ask for a 50% credit since my internet and cable work 50% of the time which I thought was fair. But all they offered me was $25 for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
For the past five months I have reached out to customer service anytime I have received junk mail from them. Being an avid eco friendly person. This is infuriating. Even more so, they have not corrected the issue and have a nearly full grocery bag full of unwanted mail. I have been told I am on the do not mail list. But is apparent that I am not. I received a credit for the trouble the first couple of months, but have been told no more credits are allowed. However, they still have not corrected the issue. Logic, customer service and marketing courtesy are non existent.
Answer: They do not care about customer retention. That being said. I have to believe it is the poorest business model I have ever come in contact with.

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
