To send me an already opened and pre worn pair of leggings is just unacceptable and quite frankly unbelievable. These leggings were frayed on the inside by the thighs. (From walking) And, on the bottom by the ankle area. Maybe feom boots? Who knows...
I really thought a company that has been around for 20 years was legit. But they are not, unfortunately. I'll continue with my target leggings.
When we brought something, we want to be happy! But sadly spanx doesn't have a good material as expectation :( and i have to return items. But u know what? Very dissapointed with how the way they return. My package still at the carrier more than 1/2 month, and they don't even bother to take care of it. They just say. Refund gonna be get after items been received. But how long should i wait?
I have purchased three different spanx products Which have all fallen apart within three months. I took photos of the products and reached out to spanx, I was told to reach out to the retailer! Don't seem to care about their diminished product quality or losing a long time customer. Too bad!
I made a purchase with them right after the holidays during a pretty good sale. I got an e-mail confirmation about placing the order, and a month later realized I never got the leggings. I check my credit card, I hadn't been charged still, but they never sent out my order either. The live chat on their website always errors out, and there's been no answer on their phones either. If I didn't know any better, I'd call this a total scam. Good thing if they ever charge me, my credit card will dispute, but I don't like not know when or if they will ever charge me and send this stuff out. No way to cancel the order either. Ridiculous.
The website did not process my first order for a pair of leggings...
As a first time Buyer I went back onto the site to see if the order had been processed or was still in my cart... I had received no confirmation and the items were not in my cart... so I thought the problem between PayPal Processing and Spanx "lost" the order... So I reordered... Several hours later I see a duplicated order in my email with two separate confirmation numbers... I write back immediately to cancel one of them... I was told the next morning that the orders couldn't be canceled... that free returns were offered. Yada yada yada... This is Bulls**t! The orders had not yet been processed and paid on PayPal and they could have canceled the processing... Online retailers do this on purpose hoping the customer just keeps the merchandise... Fabletics does the same thing... they rip off people with the initial cheap leggings to only charge them 49 dollars within 10 days.
So back to Spanx... after 7 or 8 emails exchanged... I get a case number... and then an email offering 10% off on a future order... I flat out told them I would never buy from them again and warn others not to... as well... and I will be returning both pair of leggings and just wait for SKIMS to come out with high top leggins!
SKIMS is a far superior product anyway...
I purchased a shirt I had a $20 credit and pay the other by credit card the shirt Tore wanted to even exchange they credited my account $20 said I'd have to pay the balance to buy another shirt spanks is a great shirt but their customer service just didn't come through I asked to send the shirt back or replace it they said they don't do that

They cannot cancel an order they can't tell you when it's coming. Their product isn't that unique that they can keep treating customers like crap. DO NOT ORDER THOS PRODUCT.
I just placed an order an hour ago and realized I picked up wrong size and wanted to cabbage shipping method to the fastest one as I will be out of town next week.
Apparently you can not change or cancel your order if you don't do it within 30 minutes after the order is placed. I paid 180$ for 3 items and won't be able to wear them on my next week's trip!
Wow. 1 star is too much. I ordered express delivery, and like so many others have stated, you need to add about 1-2 days on top of their stated delivery (including priority/ 1 day) as all orders process at noon. And they don't count the day it's processed as a shipping day (so Monday 1pm order= Wednesday day 1 shipping). So my order came late and I didn't get to have it for my fitting (no biggie- I can deal). However when I get to trying on the (control top) spanx it was awful. It was extremely difficult to get on (like no way you're taking this bad boy off without breaking a nail) and when I walked, it made the WORST, LOUDEST DIAPER SOUND. I have thighs that touch, and have worn all sorts of fabrics that inevitably rub together but I've never heard something so loud before! I practiced walking my smallest, shortest church steps and you could clearly hear the diaper sounds! So much so that my boyfriend came out of his office to figure out what the weird sound was! So... I returned it (and found an AMAZING pair on amazon). Now, almost 3 weeks from the return shipping date, I am STILL waiting on my refund. I followed each and every step, and all I'm met with is that I have to wait 7 business days from the date I mailed it (which, as mentioned, is well over 7 business days now). I've pointed that out and, surprise surprise, no one at customer service is responding to me anymore. I ordered from here as a "treat yourself" to finally get good spanx but take my word and save your time, money, and sanity and order from anywhere else!
I ordered an item from spanx recently and paid 35$ for 3-day shipping. The company put the wrong information on my package (their phone number instead of mine and left out my address). I called to check the shipping status of the package and the customer service agent could find it and suggested I call the shipping company, so I spend all morning tracking it down and to correct the information on it. The shipping company told me I would have never received it had I not gotten ahold of them. I called spanx again to let them know that I wanted my 35$ 3-day shipping fee back as the package was ordered on a Saturday and I would not recieve it until Thursday night. The representative was so rude and told me that that I was getting in in 3 days as they take 1 full business day to process an order. So the Monday was a "processing day" and the order wasn't submitted until Tuesday. Meanwhile, if I hadn't wasted my whole morning looking for it it would have never arrived at all. So look out - "3-day shipping" actually means 4-business day shipping (as late as 9pm on the 4th day). Seriously don't depend on their products arriving on time if you need it for an event.
We have been waiting on a refund for an order for over SIX MONTHS! We have called customer care dozens and dozens of times. They say there was a problem with refunding the card and would need to send a check. But "corporate" has not updated them on when the check would be sent. If you ask to speak with a manager, they say they cant transfer a call and someone will have to review a request in the system and call back. That never happens. They say they cant contact corporate. Corporate has not returned multiple voicemails from us. They did not respond to complaints filed with BBB- who contacted us to tell us Spanx would not respond. And Sara Blakely the founder has not responded to multiple social media direct messages. You can't get anything done at the bottom or the top of the chain. I am really surprised they maintain any customer loyalty from the way the handle problems.
I have seen some terrible reviews for this company and feel like I really need to set the record straight here. I have placed three orders within the past two weeks with Spanx. I have never loved a pair of leggings so much, I have referred countless friends! I called customer service in regards to a credit that I had received from referring friends. The sweet agent walked me through the entire process and could not have been nicer! I am so pleased to have found a great company like SPANX! PS: I placed my order Wednesday with regular shipping and the item arrived Thursday! ONE DAY! AMAZING!

I ordered spanx and I was excited to receive them because of all the rave about them. I never received my order and when I called the customer service rep, she said to go pick them up from the Post Office. The Post Office doesn't have them and the only response was we shipped them. They never offered to expedite a new pair or any remedies so I requested my money back. Worst non-existent customer service EVER!
Since customer service basically does not resolve and barely responds to emails. I received a WET spanx in the mail that water damaged the entire box and label. Telling me to send it back and that you can't provide a replacement at the same price I got it for? After this email responded stating will respond to me in 3-5 days and never did until a week later after I sent another email. That email told me the same thing as the first email which does not address anything.
***I find this response unsatisfactory. First of all you sent me wet second hand items that you will now pass off to someone else. It's surprising you would even want the item back and want us to actually spend the time and effort to actually procure and buy a new box (since the one you sent it in was water damaged) and trek to the shipping facility, wait in line, to get it back to you.
Second of all while I purchased this item on a promotion, now you are telling me, because of your own failure in sending me dirty pants that you are unable to provide a new pair at the same price? "While we are unable to send you a new pair of leggings under your current order, please feel free to place a replacement order at any time" - this delay was not my fault.
Are customers to be punished and to pay with their time to take time off work to fix your problems? We have left the country as we were excited to receive this in time for our trip and now have to resolve this issue and rush to send it within your time window when we get back? A more responsible approach would see if we were kind enough to dispose or recycle of these stinky spanx and offer a discount (at least comparable to what we paid for the initial spanx) to purchase a legit pair at the price we initially expected it for. Please kindly advise
The company never asked for separate billing and shipping addresses on the order page, and only after the order was placed did it even show that they had used my shipping address for my billing address.
I called minutes later for them to update the billing address so that the order could be completed (so they could actually receive the money) and also, so I wouldn't have to wait weeks for my credit card to decline payment and return my money.
The only response I got was that the order processes in minutes so there is nothing we can do. (the order had not processed by this time as I had received no notification saying it had processed by either paypal or spanx, and maybe if he had taken more than 30 seconds to look into it he could have fixed the issue) I politely told the CSR that my card would decline the payment if the incorrect billing address was used and his response was... it would take up to 30 days for my money to be returned via paypal and would show as a charge on my card until that time.
This is not acceptable from such a large company, it just shows a lack of appreciation for their customers and shows that they are unwilling to take any time look into customer issues.
I am currently waiting for my card to decline the charge, and then once I get my money back, I will be ordering a different product from a different company who is more deserving of my money.
This company is INFLEXIBLE. You cannot get your $ back. I accidentally ordered an extra pair leggings. I noticed my error as soon hit purchase. I called to correct, literally minutes afterward. They will not modify the order. Totally inflexible. So I have to pay additional $$ to return what I do not want. This is not only inconvenient for me, the customer, but also for the USPS/ UPS just before the holiday season. Shame on Spanx.
This company doesn't even deserve a 1. I wonder if the owner who is making billions of dollars realize how her return system is doing. I purchased two items over $150 total. When I got them did not like them return them immediately it has been over 12 days and no sign of my refund or them receiving it. Have called several times and was on customer service hold for over 40 minutes each time to talk to someone" live " just for them to tell me they have nothing to go off, also they had no communication except by email to the warehouse, or anyone to see if it has been received. I was told 3 days ago I would receive a email with an update on what is going on still no reply. This is such a huge company you would think that they would be a little more organized and a little bit more accurate with returns and customer service. I will never purchase directly from this company again. I do not recommend anybody purchasing from this company as the return system is awful go directly to Nordstrom or store that carries them with much better customer service. So ridiculous and very very frustrating as I am a huge Shopper online. Only to find out that the returns go to Canada woot woot way2go American company
