Pictures came out great considering hold old the slides were. The company kept me informed via email of the progress during the entire process.

I had some old reel-to-reel home movies that were about 55 years old. I had previously tried to have them converted to DVD by a local company, but was told they were too old and degraded. As I had nothing to lose by trying Southtree, I boxed them up and mailed them. The process was very simple; just put the bar codes on and send them in the box that was included. I was very surprised and pleased that my home movies were able to be preserved! The quality of the DVD is remarkable considering what they had to work with! I am extremely satisfied!
Had old movies that were just sitting in a corner collecting dust. Southtree took these memories put them on a flash drive for us to show our grandchildren. As for my wife and I going back many years brings happiness and a little tear.
Modern technology to bring back old memories is a blessing.

I had worries about sending irreplaceable family memories off to strangers. Through four separate orders, with a total of over six hundred individual images, my experience with Southtree was excellent. The staff that I dealt with acted friendly and professionally at every contact. I would recommend Southtree without reservation to anyone. If you think this review sounds too good to be true, I don't exaggerate.
I'm glad I finally had southtree transfer my old tapes. They were probably diminished in quality from sitting around for years but Southtree transferred all of them to a flash drive which I immediately transferred to my cloud storage. They did an excellent job on tapes and slide transfers. Don't wait any longer and trust that Southtree will handle all your materials with kid gloves. They sent me back everything in a sturdy box just as I sent it to them. They include all shipping and boxing costs in their price so no additional charges.
Everything was handled exactly as promised. The flash drive had everything on it... each in it's own file making it simple to view/share just the content you choose.
Promised communication about our order was non existent. On the other hand we received almost daily advertisements when we had already ordered what we wanted. We finally blocked the number after we got our order.
I can't even watch the CDs and we used to watch the tapes every Friday night. It's been months. I've been distressed. The quality is terrible. Some CDs are blank!

They did a great job transferring my tapes and even when I had an issue with one of the tapes, they took it back and was able to correct the issue quickly. Promises of quality work kept!
I had 2 cassette tapes, one that was over 25 years old and another that was closer to 50 years old. I sent them in and Southtree was able get the audio from them and give the audio from them back to me in digital files. I was very happy with the service.
Sent 10 VHS and 8mm tapes in a box supplied by Southtree…waited a couple months and presto! I had an easy USB plug that I could put into my big screen tv and have a party with popcorn, along with a lifetime of memories and laughs! I plan to send another 10 tapes to Southtree again soon. Thanks for the great experience!
I am impressed with the converted digital files. I had a small issue getting the promo code to work and there was an. Issue with one of the tape's audio initially. Customer service was able to quicky address both issues.
Have sent in several batches and have been pleased with every one that has been converted. On one batch it turned out 3 tapes were blank. They gave credit to send in 3 more at no charge. Some were 45 to 50 yr old 8 mil tapes and they came out really good. I am very pleased with their work. Just sent another batch today.
This was my second experience with Southtree and its amazing team of experts. I had old and some damaged VHS tapes that they repaired and the results were better than the originals!

Rather than charging by length, which would make the process very costly for most tapes as they tend to be longer, our process is determined by the number of items you are sending to us. Across the board, whether it is 5 minutes or 5 hours the size of your order will be determined by how many items you would like to send us to be processed!
