My review is for the Oakbrook office. Every bad review about this company is right! I thought I was making an informed decision. I did my homework and decided to give Sono Bello a chance. If i would of really looked at the reviews closer, I would have noticed a pattern of reviews only for the consult being great. They have so many horrible stories on the better business bureaus website and those stories are true. This company runs a scam. They take your money and act like everything is great, I received a phone call two days before my preop saying my doctor suddenly had a family emergency and my appointment was canceled! No other explanation. So i decided to do a little homework on the doctor they gave me( which honestly i should of done before) but turns out, this doctor was not even affiliated with Sona Bello any more, No wonder he couldn't do my preop! I pray these people and this company shutdown. I think it is horrible what they are doing to people. I am so happy I caught this lie in time, I should of listened to gut. I feel like i've dodged a bullet. Please, Please, Please look through the better business bureau. The only good reviews are on google and they are mostly from your consult. Listen to your gut, there are so many other safe, great places and doctors to go to. Oh one other mention, because they cancelled on me, I was given an email confirming a refund. I haven't recieved it yet, so I have taken measures to ensure i will get it back. Sona Bello if you ever read this, You all should be ashamed of yourself!

Please save you money, I had very bad experience I didn't work for me I keep calling after my Lipo with no results and the only answer I have was give it a time is been 8 months and still having a big pouch and every time I call is excuses after excuse, words service and very expensive I should put attention in the reviews

I am 4 months post procedure right now. I had my top and bottom abdomen and both outer thighs done. My stomach looks almost the same as before... one thigh looks worse than before (weird lumpy look) and the other looks the exact same. The ads say in 'one day' you can remove stubborn fat. What a pile of garbage. I am not a large person (150 lbs) 5'5 and I eat healthy and work out almost daily, gave UP carbs and was just looking for some stubborn fat to be removed. The doctor even said I had 'easy fat' at the consultation. I guess not.
I would not recommend spending thousands of dollars as unless you are in your early 20's or you will probably be disappointed. After the procedure you are swollen and weigh more than before. 2 months in the swelling is 'supposed' to go down (and remember you are wearing compression garments the entire 2 months) yet the results are the same as if you were to go work out 5 days a week. Do a LOT of research if you are serious as AFTER the procedure they then tell you it may take a FULL YEAR to see final results!
Update July 2021: No other changes. Stomach still the same size, thighs still look same as four months post procedure. Complete waste of time and money.

My wife had her procedure done and is still in pain over a month later and asked for a doctor's note to extend her time off work (she is not getting paid or using any sick time) and the doctor said he could not extend the time. How dose he know how she is feeling to me that us piss poor if she need more time the doctor should give it to her thats just bs that right there tells me all that the sorry $#*! doctor is worried about is getting his money not how the patients feel I would not recommend this to anyone because the doctor does not care about you or how you feel after the fact

I am so happy that I had this procedure done to my upper and lower abdomen and also removing that awful apron I had for years. Dr. Vega is the best and so professional. I knew I was in good hands and she made me feel very comfortable. She did an awesome job. Make sure you ask for her if you're considering this procedure. The staff and nurses were amazing. I will go back later to have other procedures done. Thank you for everything, Sono Bello!

When someone struggles with losing fat, it is evil to exploit and deceive them. My procedure in august 2020 with sono bello was a traumatizing experience.
During my procedure, Dr. Stapenhorst was very hostile when i reacted to a sharp pain helplessly. He yelled at me saying "I don't care" how do you say that to someone who has trusted you with their life?
From my first visit with Dr. Stapenhorst, he spoke to me in a very demeaning way, this made me feel very uncomfortable, I reached out to Miss Majik (told her i would prefer a tummy tuck) she assured me that even if he comes of arrogant, he does a good job and a trisculpt ex will be a game changer and i will love my results assuring me of these results being almost immediate.
Imagine being scared from end to end of your abdomen leaving you belly uneven.
Fast forward to 6 months after, expressing my concerns of my unsatisfactory results for a very painful procedure of over 14k+
I am now being lectured and advised to take 45 mins walk to help loose fat for the next 6 months... really?

This has been the most terrible experience of my life. I had two laser lipo done in sonobello. The first was on my stomach, low back and side. Yes if there was pain three occasions Through the surgery it felt like a burned inside terrible I screamed. The second surgery was for my upper back, it was a nightmare, the medicine and the local anesthesia didn't work at all. I felt everything from the beginning, I screamed and cried throughout the whole procedure. And the only thing the doctor said is stop screaming no sympathy. How he wants me to stop screaming and crying when it was and intense, terrible pain. Supposedly this is not Invasive they say is not true is awful. And the incisions that they say are very small just look at my photos Disgusting incision. It was a terrible experience at Sonobello Long Island NY. I'm so disappointed.

Had my procedure done 6 months ago, let alone it was outrageously expensive and very painful, I am highly disappointed with results. My upper abdomen as big as it was before surgery and lumpy, my sides are completely disproportional, like I have a tumor under my breast. Was trying to talk to Dr about "satisfaction commitment" to fix problem areas- he is happy with what he has done on me and refuses to do anything without extra pay. Nurses promised 3 months ago to contact corporate office to resolve the problem- now they even don't answer texts or emails, full conspiracy! Stay away from Sonobello!

Had lippo done in April of 2019, by Dr. Hill, in 2021 I will be having a abdominoplasty with vertical incision so they can cut out and fix what he killed! Stay away from this company, I complained on my 1st visit after lipo and still got no answers from Dr. Hill!

I had lipo on upper abs, lower abs and waist on Dec 4, up to today on Feb 2nd, I do not see ANY change in my stomach. I didn't have an excessive amount of fat in my stomach to begin with so I felt I should've seen a great change by now. I wear the compression garment daily, along with an ab board, which they didn't tell me about until I complained, which made all the difference in comfort and not having the compression garment pierce your stomach. I paid too much money and shoulve seen better results by now. I was shown a picutre of someone my size, approximately 5'5" and about 140 lbs, who they claimed had amazing results in just 2 weeks, that was not my experience AT ALL. The Dr was also not the most friendly or comforting and the process was extremely painful during the procedure, just like the other review, I was screaming during the procedure.

I had the surgery almost 2 years ago. Not much has changed and I have severe back issues. Still numb and painfull. I've called and always get the run around. Covid came and I've never been seen. I live with this pain everyday. Very disappointed.

I had surgery done to fix saggy eye lids.
The surgery did not work, though the incisions did look good. I had to have surgery redone because my eyes lids still sagged and the surgery didn't correct them. The second surgery left incisions on my forehead more noticeable and a little puckered. I thought that with time the scars would fade, I had the surgery approximately 5 yrs ago and the scars are still bothersome and left me self consciousness. I don't know what to do about this blotched job. I am not pleased with the outcome. I had this done at Sonobella in Garfield Heights.

HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! If there was negative 100 stars I would put that! I got contacted by them on jan 6 and they made me virtual appointment on jan 14 at 3:30. Ive been waiting for this appointment because i have money and ready any minute for procedure. So on jan 14 i cancelled ALL my plans and was waiting for the consultant to call. Guess what?! NOBODY CALLED! At 3:34 I received msg from consultant that she is running late and will call me shortly from the 267-... number. I was waiting till 6pm. And still NOBODY called! They dont value customers time, imagine if they have UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE, how results will look! When i texted them and complained about wasting my time somebody replied that they called me at 3:42 from 646 number. Called just one time and DIDNT leave any voice msg. Do you know how many robotic calls i get a day everyday?! Was I suppose to know that it was them if they sent msg that they will be calling from totally DIFFERENT NUMber?! And if you are calling from different number why not to leave a voice or call couple more times so I would know that its something important or send me a text that they decided to call me from different number that stated in text message. And when i tried to complain they accused me for not picking up the phone! And by the way probably it happened for better because i did research and found out that one lady DIED FROM SONO BELLO! So their customer service proving their work and results! Take a look at no calls no voice and no texts!

Great sales pitch. TERRIBLE aftercare. The procedure was extremely uncomfortable and the staff had a lassie fair attitude. I was sore for 3 months after my procedure. The Two-day recovery and return to work is A BOLD FACE LIE, it's extremely deceptive and I regretted every second of my decision. I had lipo and skin removal for my abdomen area.

I had went to sonobello in 2019 to have fat removed in Portland Oregon. I was told I had to have 3 areas done or they wouldn't do it. Then I was also told if you pay extra you could get it re-done if you weren't happy stipulation you didn't gain weight in 6 months. I didn't gain any weight. I'm not happy with results. I went back in. Was told they would do just a little bit to fix what I was not happy with. That they would submit my concerns and maybe redo. I then asked for a refund for paying extra money for a redo. They said maybe. Don't trust this establishment. They will take your money and rip you off. They also said they would do it but don't call them they would call me. I find this very unprofessional on all accounts. They did not give me photos or paperwork. They did show me photos but funny thing was the photos showed skinny and fat. As in I have a tattoo. Its skinny in one and fat in the first one. So I also paid 1200 extra to have my so called banana roll done. They said I didn't. Then I stated oh yes I did. I have all that paperwork. I'll rate a one star but I actually don't rate them but zero

I fell into thinking this would work. My consultant told me..."you'll have dark glasses, your choice of music, you'll sleep/rest through the entire procedure." The ride service they recommended for me never showed up and then wanted to charge me for the rides. During the procedure, I was in excruciating pain. I spent the procedure trying to push away the doc and his nurse. No music, no dark glasses, no sleeping. After the procedure, I couldn't work for weeks. The incision in my back wouldn't allow me to sit comfortably. Once I kinda healed, my body changed. Although they removed fat in some places, leftover fat migrated to other places. My body is unrecognizable. And, on my own, on a keto diet, I've lost 40 lbs. I would not recommend Sonobello to my worst enemy. Do not fall into their trap. Do not spend money on this pie in the sky.
