A pair of my vanishing edge panties developed a hole and I contacted customer service to ask about a replacement due to the quality issues. The customer service rep denied my request and offered an offensive 10% off another purchase. I will no longer buy Soma products
In the not too distant past, SOMA was my favorite place to buy bras and panties. They quit making panties that lasted and were well-made. They even quit making the Sensuous Lace panties that match the Sensuous Lace bras (which I have a LOT of in various colors.) I always bought matching panties, but when I wanted some new ones I found out they aren't carrying them anymore and now I can't match my bras right. The other panties that have lace rip and get holes easily- even by taking them on and off. I wouldn't recommend wasting money on them unless you want holy underwear.
Shelly and Juana are great! Their customer service is top notch. Every time I shop at the Highlands Store in Arlington I feel like I am visiting friends! They are helpful, but also let you just look around if you want.
Don't return anything and expect to get a refund. Biggest rip off ever. I don't know how they stay in business.
Bought 3 Vanishing 360 underwire bras in October 2022. Followed washing instructions to a tee. Today 6 months later noticed material on band separating.Appears fabric is glued together not stitched. Called customer service and was told over 60 days so sorry no refund of any kind. Will never buy anything from them again. You'd think they'd stand behind their products
I needed a panty with no show panty lines and the boy short from Soma looked like the ones to try. I will not be wearing them. The boy short panties have a plastic lining on the bottom of the leg, I suppose to hold it in place, but unfortunately it doesn't work. The front of the legs ride and bunch up in the front, making it a visible lump through the pant. The back is seamless, but it's definitely not worth the money.
Soma has the most comfortable bras period. I have tried all sorts of brands. They have the best in softness, comfort and actual sizes to fit real women. I cannot even wear anything else now. The underwear are the same the best materials for softness, and actually wearable all day comfort. If you have never tryed one u must! You will never want anything else!
I purchased seven bras on Friday, January 27th, 2023 and I wore one of them over the weekend and it was "simply horrible" because of the way it was made. The Style was an Enbliss Wireless Bra which has a two-tiered construction. The cup of the bra is "separate" from the elastic band which made the bra "rise up" which makes the bra "useless" in coverage of your person. Unfortunately, I paid via check for this merchandise ($269.48) and I returned all of the bras the following Monday, January 30th, 2023 to their store in Lenexa, Kansas, to which I was told although they already have the returned bras, that I would not receive a refund of my money for them until 30 days and it would be mailed out to me although the check had not even left the business location yet and they could have just given it back to me (but they did not) and I could have simply "voided it" and my account would not be touched since they already had the bras back. This is simply unacceptable because I got "a long song and dance excuse" when I called their Corporate Office Line on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 about the reasoning for having to wait so long on this transaction to which the Customer Service Person (a female) that I talked to was "very condescending" saying, "I am surprised that they even accept checks there and people should not even write checks." And besides, "There is nothing you can do about it anyway, because the money will be debited from your account." I responded back to her by saying, "Excuse me, what do you mean? I write checks all the time." She said, "Well, have you not ever had a problem like this before?" I responded "No, never." The bottom line is, they want to collect their money as soon as possible, but they want you to have to wait 30 days for the return of yours. Their Refund Policy is "totally stupid and unacceptable" and they "hold your money hostage" while you wait to receive your money back although they already have their items/merchandise back. It should actually only take 7 to 10 days like other businesses. It remains to be seen if I even get my money back. I am not optimistic. I do not recommend anyone to purchase anything from this business. They are definitely rip-off artists of your money and conduct "bad business practices" and they need to catch up to/with the current times and conduct refunds "electronically," so customers do not have to wait so long to receive their own money back. There is no rhyme or reason for any transaction to take 30 days to be processed for the return of a customer's money. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL AND NOT IN GOOD FAITH! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE OR BUSINESS! YOU WILL BE SORELY DISAPPOINTED IN EVERY WAY!
I bought two of the Unbelievable Lift Unlined Perfect Coverage bras about 6-12 months apart. These were purchased in-store. These are $60 bras. I like the bras very much. I do not wear these bras all the time. They are line dried. One of the bras had the wire come out. I returned it to the store where I purchased it. I was told by an older woman who worked there that there was nothing she could do; the bra was a year old. She went on and on about my expectations for a bra, and that bras don't last over a year. Without going into it, she actually chastised me for bringing it in. The other employees just stood there and listened. Honestly, I couldn't even defend myself I was so embarrassed. I left the bra there and walked out. Never again will I purchase anything from Soma. I learned my lesson.
Ordered their overpriced ($40) bras on Monday, they claimed it was made ready for USPS shipment by Wednesday. However, USPS Tracking doesn't reflect that they picked them up (it's now Friday). Given the bras are made in Sri Lanka, the least expensive country for manufacturer, it is likely that they cost Soma $2, which give them a 95% profit margin. With that kind of profit, they could have used Fedex to ship them. But no, they go with consistently unreliable USPS. Will my wife ever see those bras?
I purchased two black call night lingerie nightgowns. One of them shredded in the center after the first wash, the other one the away from the fabric after the first wash. Both were washed in linen bags and gentle cycles. I'm definitely going to try to return these. I better not have a problem. Attached are pictures.
Ordered 4 bras my always usual size, felt like I was in a straight jacket, no way could I wear them. Sent it back got them 3 weeks later, they ride under my armpits so close! If I lean over it gaps! Should of went into town to my Victoria Secret, sure I'm stuck with them.
This is my second water pitcher by soma. But this one is defected it has 3 holes in the bottom which water goes through very quickly and the water doesn't get filter and the taste is horrible
Hopefully the company will replace
They claim to have excellent quality and reviews on their website and act like it's American made. But I'm here to tell you that it's not. I'm sure this is made in China and the picture shows it. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I have been buying an 80.00 bra for years. Good price, good fit and lasted. Now the underwire doesn't hold us and the lace on the cups rubs on bare skin. Painful. Went to the soma store and was given the stock answer. Wrong laundering. Just not true, no support from them. I vote with my wallet, I'm done
I'm very disappointed with the swimsuit I got from Soma. I spend over $100 on it and expected it to last a few years.
However, I went on vacation recently and when I got it out of the suitcase this is what I saw.
The material is thinning and peeling away, prior to this I've only worn the swimsuit a few times and washed it according to the instructions.
I don't expect Soma to have such poor quality as I've been a Soma customer for years now and never had an issue like this with any item of clothing.
The customer service I received from them when I reported the issue from Jennifer was highly unprofessional and she didn't care.
Ordered 6 bras from them. Returned 3 on June 3rd. I have used Afterpay as a payment method. No credit has been applied yet. Have called numerous times, have emailed, have had a live chat & have tried doing a live chat this whole past week. I have delayed my last payment to see if I get any response. This company is horrible with after sales service, customer care or anything for that matter! Such a crying shame that a company can be so callous!
Can't get through to help line. Messed up my order. Irritating help line. No help at all. Can't get through.
I went into soma in Victoria gardens California about a year and a half ago. I was really impressed with how helpful the staff was with helping me find the right size of bra everything was super cute, seemed soft, and good quality. I got three different bras one of which was the tan bra with no padding. I had tried on the same type of bra in black lace not realizing the top seam was different ultimately making it a slightly different bra. One of the cups on the tan bra was noticeably larger and had a curved cut to it. Some of the seams began to ravel and crinkle within the first several washes. I had also ordered a pair of small silky pajama pants when they arrived part of the pant leg was not sewn properly into the waistband causing a large hole. I thought they were still cute so I just fixed myself. However the smallest size was a small but they ran very large I would equate it to a medium/large. Fast forward to now my tan bra is completely unwearable as the seam along the cup near the armpit is completely torn away. I'm kind of sad that these weren't that great of quality because they are very comfortable compared to Victoria secret. Now I'm unsure of where to shop for comfortable bras. I hope this helps someone from spending good money on something that does not last very long. I'm usually willing to spend more money on quality if I know they are going to last but I feel like a year is not good enough. I have had vs bras for many many years without any damage. Now I just need a place that has quality of vs and comfort of soma in one bra
They send me used bra, strap have too much wrinkles, smell really really bad, poor costumer service, im not recommend this company
