My first time buying my contact lenses that i could afford, i thought the prices were good... was going to order monthly... so excited til I got hit with a Duty charge. HARD to understand especially when they say they areva Canadian Company. This is A Lie. Sounds like a scam... And nooo where was I warned about having to pay a heafty duty fee. So upsetting... Wrong on their part... I should of had a choice... and it's impossible to get a hold of them. Very frusting. Save your money buy elsewhere more legit and honest!

Terrible experience. I ordered my contact lenses online correctly. I would receive and email that my order did not match the prescription. I was advised to re order. I took a picture of my order. I once again received an email that " my order did not match the prescription. They emailed me a " copy" of my order( I did not match my order at all- screenshot to prove it. My CC was charged again and again…. Do NOT order from this website…..

I ordered my contacts through them. After I had ordered I read the reviews about them and the delivery company they use. I saw the most awful reviews about both and I was started to get super nervouse. BUT! I recieved my contacts 3 days earlier then expected AND they were the perfect strength in perscription and perfect fit. I am very happy with my contacts.

Bought my Oakley glasses on line from Smartbuy glasses last week. The online customer service contacted me immediately after receipt of order to inform me of the process. I did originally order 2 pairs but the Hugo Boss were unfortunately out of stock. The oakleys arrived early and are 5 star. They were 1/2 the price buying on line versus buying the same pair in Calgary. My only gripe is that the Smartbuy website still has the Hugo Boss glasses advertised even though they don't carry them anymore.

1- This company is run out of Hong Kong and the Philippines, with sub-standard customer service/support
2- Their claim of 100% satisfaction guarantee refers only to them getting paid, but not for customer service/support or warranty.
3- good luck trying to get your money back on defective glasses or bad prescription... they will make returning the glasses difficult and expensive to ship the glasses back to them
4- polarizer films not installed properly on the lens with a lot of stress marks along the edges. This can be seen by the human eye, but is emphasized in front of the lcd monitor. These people do not stand by their product and say that this is normal.

Bought a pair of prescription Smith sunglasses, at first they were great but within 6 months the frames started falling apart and i started the warranty return. They wanted to have the defective glasses back before processing the replacement, these are prescription glasses that I need for driving and not have been without glasses for a month.
I was told that it is their policy for returns to be processed prior to replacement items being processed. Let me tell the corporate $#*!heads something, this is a terrible policy, especially when the glasses contain prescription lenses, people need these to see.
I paid for FedEx express shipping on the original order so i would have expected them to honor this on the replacement item but they did not, i thing this order must be coming with carrier pigeon.
So the new order finally ships but they send it from Taiwan with some company I have never heard of, RPX logistics, but send me a Canada post tracking number. First of all Canada Post should not be used for anything because they are useless, 2 weeks from shipment date and tracking is still showing nothing.
This is not a Canadian company and it should be illegal for them to use the. Ca in their web address. Buy local if you can or at the least make sure they will not be using Canada post for shipping.

I was thoroughly impressed with my order!
I was nervous after some of the negative reviews I had read. It did take a few weeks for the glasses to arrive. In those weeks I received status updates on my order frequently.
The glasses are in excellent shape and are exactly what I ordered. They arrived with a Nike case, guarantee card, as well as the original lenses before the prescribed ones were put in. Wow!
I have already ordered a second pair (not Nike).
Looking forward to their arrival!
I purchased a pair of Prada sunglasses that upon first inspection I knew they were fake. No serial number etched into the inner lens, and other indicators that these were not authentic. I own several pairs of Prada sunglasses and these are not real Prada. Very disappointed and seeking a return and refund. Thank God I used PayPal because I will fight through them if I get the run around.
***Update. I returned the glasses to smart buy after contacting customer service and following their instructions for returns. The refund has been processed and I am relieved and happy it was done quick and without hassle.

Do not waste your time and money on SmartBuyGlasses. If you know the original sunglasses you will easily find out the differences. Might not be distinguishable for everyone though. So respect yourself, your effort, your money and forget about these liars.
I had extremely efficient and timely customer support. My selected Versace frames were currently not available but I managed to find another frame. Delivery in Canada was earlier than expected and the glasses are amazing. They fit well and being progressives I was quite worried. I also have an extremely high prescription. I was pleasantly surprised at the glasses I received and the vision through the ultra-thin 1.74 lenses that I had selected. So much so that I just ordered another pair online in a Givenchy frame. I hope this pair is as good as the last!
It took 48 days to get my glasses and the left lens prescription was wrong. I had to ship back at my cost and did not get a full refund.

Just received my Raybans, From Hong Kong! Pretty sure they're fake. The plastic feels of a very poor quality and the packaging just doesn't sit right with me, the lenses also seem a little brittle for such an expensive pair of sunglasses.
I'll have them checked over and update.

Ordered for my prescription glass, after days of waiting and not seeing update, when contacted they keep saying it will taking days to get from supplier... then days for processing... then days for shipping!
It was high prescription eyeglass and was advised to wait days after days to get it!
NO ONE SHOULD Buy anything from this site!

Scam! Stay away! They do not refund fraud merchandise and you will get the run around... avoid at all cost! I hope this helps the next person. Amazon is way safer... good luck..

I ordered an eye frame 3 months ago and still waiting for it. The customer service rep is useless. Unable to assist. Can't give an ETA. Got a stock confirmation notice finally 3 weeks ago. When checked again today. I was told that it is still out of stock and ETA is unavailable. Very poor service. Will not recommend anyone to do any business with them.

When they reply to you by email, all you can get is "I am really sorry for the late response. We are currently receiving a large volume of emails and we apologized for not being able to get back to you right away".

I placed an order today for glasses that were showing on the website and received the email confirmation. Then I contacted them asking about the invoice and they told me that the invoice would be ready when the order gets shipped. Then during the chat the said "oh, the item you ordered is discontinued". Really, I can't believe that this is a professional way for a 100% online company to deal with customers. I don't recommend dealing with them.

I bought 2 Brand name women's frames only and they were too small so I emailed them (they have no customer service phone number supposedly) several times and they finally gave me the address to ship them back to. I paid for shipping and ship the 2 frames back to them but never received a refund of $250 on my credit card. This company is a SCAM and should be shut down immediately by the police and the owners thrown in jail for the crooks they are!
