Driver stole my food, terrible customer support. No refund, offered credit but took two hours with customer service to get there and don't want to use the app again so credit is pointless

The Driver never came to the door. I missed one phone call and never received my food order.

Customer service said because we could not get a hold of you based on one missed call we will not refund or re-deliver or send the food back to restaurant for pick up.

Completely horrible service.

Just plain gross!

Same thing as everyone else is saying. It doesn't rate to even get a "worse" star - robbery and illegal as far as I am concerned. I feel that if everyone stays away from them, hopefully they will go out of business. A good friend of mine works for one of the restaurants and they are cutting them off as it looks bad of their part as well...

This review is actually 0 stars, do not ever use this company, they are thieves. I placed an order that I never received, and they refused to refund me anything. They first told me that the courier said he came to our house and couldn't get a hold of us, then they told me that the courier said the food was delivered. I was by my front door the whole time and the courier never arrived. I even told them to have the courier come back to my house to confront me and they refused to do anything. This company is completely dishonest, corrupt and unethical, do not ever use, I won't ever again.

Horrible company

As a restaurant owner I can honestly say this is by far the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with. As I write this I'm on hold now for over 40 minutes. The absolute worst customer service ever. I'm dumping them and going with door dash as they actually care about the restaurant owner as well as the customers. Skip can skip on off. I've been on hold now for an emergency and still not answering. This is just ridiculous

This rating is a 0/ Never again would I use Skip the dishes
I am tired of Skip the dishes, officially! I have a lot of problems with them, but i kept giving chances. This one takes the cake for me. I completely hate them. I order almost $50 of food. They never called nor came to my door and i have video surveillance in front and the back of my house, no one showed up. Not only did they cancelled my order, after myself and my husband walk around the street, (we were tracking them) and did not see them outside. They blame me, said that i was not reachable and that is a rass lie. I am extremely hungry, i was waiting by the door for this food, and they going to lie on me, and to make it worse, they refuse to refund me back my order. I just broke down crying, because they were so rude and unfair when speaking with Chat support Andrew, and to top it off, he ended the chat after he said no refund, i wasn't even finish chatting. I had to speak with another chat support about the same thing. I called the restaurant and even they said that they has complaints about skip the dishes and they just open their restaurant, only a couple days... WOW. I called the support line *******547, and i was waiting to speak with someone for 30 mins and still didn't get through, i had to hang up. My husband contacted the restaurant, to explain what happened, and the restaurant was absolutely amazing in helping us out. The restaurant doesn't delivery, only through Uber eats and Skip the dishes, and they personal redelivered our food to our door and gave us a 10% discount. I had to repay for my food again thanks to Skip the dishes. You guys will never ever ever see me again and anytime the opportunity present itself, i will forever give a bad review. I really HATE skip the dishes. If anyone from Skip the dishes is reading this i want my money back! And for everyone else use UBER EATS only, never had an issue.

Absolute garbage! Won't give my money back. Driver never tried to contact me ever and customer support doesn't give a crap. DO NOT USE THEM! They are theives and will steal your money when you aren't at fault! They have lazy drivers!

Skip the dish is robbery!

Absolute garbage! Scammers! I placed an order then decided to go do laundry. My phone was in the other room. When I decided to check my phone to see what was taking so long I see 2 missed calls. When I tried to call back it said something about my time contacting the driver is up AND my order is cancelled. Why? There was no knock on my door NO attempt was made to deliver my food. So I was on the chat support system and they said because I didn't pick up my phone I can't get a refund? THAT IS STEALING!

Skip the dishes is an absolute joke of a company. I have had so many issues with them. Recently their driver did not deliver an order of $60 to me and they charged me for it anyways. When I messaged them asking what was going on they told me they couldn't refund me or give me a credit even though I DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE MY FOOD. I spoke with two different agents and even emailed them. They all have the exact same answer. I can't comprehend how a company can expect you to pay for food you never received due to the incompetence of their own drivers. I've been a loyal customer who uses them regularly despite common mistakes but this was the final straw. I literally hate this company and will never use them again.

Ordered breakfast and the driver "couldn't find" broadview ave which in itself makes zero sense. I contacted skip the dishes cause the driver was doing circles and then he left. I was told no refund and the order was canceled. When they canceled the restaurant (Johnny Gs on parliament which was awesome handling this!) Didn't recieve my payment either because the order was canceled. I have all the screen shots to prove all of this and it's just disgusting! This company is a scam stay away!

Ordered $150 of food for my kids birthday - GPS said it was on its way,. It never came, we didn't get a call, when we called them they said it's up to them and they aren't going to re-attempt to deliver and hung up on us - we called back - they hung up - I emailed - no response - I tried to chat - they dropped the chat... not sure how this is good business, but they do not care. It seems like it should be illegal what they've done, so much for loyalty and customer service. Horrible

I had a courier come to my house late at night. I was getting read for bed so did not answer the door right away. I did not order food so it was alarming that someone would be at my door so late. The courier began to yell at me for wasting his time, after confirming my address. Someone must have put the wrong address in their app. The courier got out of his car coming towards the fence of my house screaming nasty things at me. This is after I warned him that he should not speak to me that way, and confirmed with him that I did not order food and in fact had no idea what was going on. I then called customer service to launch a complaint. They have said that the couriers are independent contractors and therefore they cannot do anything. They only finally got in touch with me WEEKS after this incident happened. This is after I had been promised my general support that I would be getting to speak to someone and getting it resolved. The manager I was meant to speak to kept emailing me about when it was a preferred time for them to call me. I would give them the time, then they would call me randomly on a Saturday-not at all the time requested. They would then leave a voicemail saying that they were fulfilling my wish and I had failed to answer. The customer service with this company is a joke. They answer in clearly blanket pre arranged statements that take little to no thought. Unsafe company. I am deleting my account and never using them again. Just brutal.

Worst Service Imaginable

Ordered game day pizza. Pizza 1 arrived and looked like the driver or resturant played football with it. Got a credit and placed the same order again and told they would make sure it came in perfect condition and speak with the driver. Pizza 2 arrived another 40 mins later and looked like the driver did a brake stand on it. The driver sat in my kitchen trying to speak to his supervisor and got placed on hold with a hold time of 10 mins.
Very Poor customer service and now i see they treat the employees the same way to resolve any issue. Same robotic chat responses over and over. Company waiting to eat, ordered at 6pm and finally on the 3rd try a pizza arrived that looked edible at 8:30

Bad service

We ordered McDonald's at 11:04 and at 11:10 our driver went to the other side of the city, and at 11:30 they just stopped. We reached out to support and they said they couldn't help us.
