When you have a complaint they just ignore you. No reply, no response. Skips customer service is horrible!
There are fatal flaws in the business practices of Skip the Dishes. 1. You have to pay full price when you place an order, but if an incomplete order is delivered, refunds are very difficult to get. 2. Apparently their delivery drivers do not check that an order is complete when they pick it up from the restaurant, so the customer is left holding a half-empty bag. 3. When contacted about the problem, Skip does NOT provide clear directions about how to fix the problem. Customer persistence results in Skip ending the communication.

Won't refund. Didn't make it clear that they also do pick up, why do they even do pick up, poorly organized and functioning app, didn't offer any compensation for the order not being delivered and the customer service was very apathetic. Notorious for misusing employees, I knew many people who drove for Skip but hated it and couldn't even afford the gas for it due to the company not the customers. Just a poorly run buisness and sadly the only option in most cases in my small city.
Skip the dishes is terrible. Places my order to the wrong address they were no help. Took my order to the wrong address even when I was trying to contact chat support for 40 mins and didn't give me a refund. Paid $50.00 for food that I didn't even receive.
Employ terrible drivers who don't know how to find simple locations and say the delivered when dont.
I placed an order for delivery tonight which never arrived. I had on agent tell me my address was wrong. I have been ordering for two years with no issue. Waited for a supervisor to call but that never happened. There seems to be no effort to resolve and no accountability. Will be making a complaint to the restaurant. Skip the Dish needs to go back to having the drivers call customers to confirm delivery. Horrible service.
I placed an order valued at over $100. They claim the delivered the food but I never received the order and was left stranded with guest that I could not feed. The company is very difficult to contact and the person I was dealing with just told me that I would not get my money back! This is the worst service I have received in years and would DO NOT recommend their services.
It is common that your order is incorrect when delivered. Skip it quick to give you skip credits, but it forces you to reorder and pay a second delivery fee and tip. If they are going to give you skip credits they should also credit the delivery fee and tip.
We ordered two meals on January 14/2022. The site showed the order's progress, I received 3 text messages saying my order was about to arrive, which in the end didn't. I went to the site help chat and explained what happened. They confirmed to me the order was not, in the end, delivered, and that it would take about 10 days to refund my money. I was so upset that I asked why so long, when Skip TheDishes is so fast to charge for each order. At that point, the person in the chat disconnected me. It seems in the end they cancelled the charge. But this is still not good. When we order food is because we are hungry and don't have the time to wait any longer for another order, or to cook. I haven't received any messages from Skip TheDishes. If the order was delivered somewhere else, that person enjoyed it free of charge while we were waiting. Skip the Dishes needs to be more effective and better be able to control their deliveries. We ordered from a small restaurant because we wanted to try their food and benefit them. That was not possible.
I ordered at 10:15 and it's now 11:31 an it still says 61 minutes. The customer sucks, you can't even call them anymore! They are horrible use over eats at least you get your stuff when they say!
That's what's the contact support told me after waiting an hour for McDonald's order. They don't refund. They rather to get you food poisoning, they don't care of costumers, and they hiring poeples who's don't know what they are doing, don't know follows instructions,.

First order (over $100!) - said it was delivered (I was waiting at the front door) - never came. Had to go through hoops to get a refund instead of a credit. It took several email exchanges
On a subsequent order, it was delivered but no one knocked or rang the bell. When I opened the door to see if they just dumped it and left, there was my order, ripped apart by squirrels. DO NOT USE THEM!
I paid $24 for a pizza and crazy bread from Little Cesar's tonight. My order was never delivered. I contacted SkipTheDishes and they refused to give me my order or my money. I ended up calling Little Cesar's and bought the same thing from them which they had a delivery company deliver to me and they charged $12.10 for the exact same order.
The app is not the issue. The issue is the lazy, uncooperative associates. They refuse to help you and refuse to give you credits that are owed based on bad service. I had a driver, that was "10 minutes away" for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was promised credits by one associate and did not receive them. When I inquired about the credits, a different associate simply dismissed my request and left the chat. Skip should allow a rating system for their employees as well because the absolutely terrible service comes from SKIP EMPLOYEES, not the drivers. Worst delivery service employees I have ever experienced. UberEats or DoorDash are far better alternatives at this point. Skip employees are horrendous at best.
Tonight we went and decided to order for the first time from Cineplex. Ordered a large popcorn, 2 large drinks and Areo chocolates. Timing was excellent but that could be because they left out the popcorn. With 20 minutes left before cineplex closed and no way to get a hold of Skip, we had to get in our car, and go get our own popcorn. When I reported this to Skip via messaging the response I received back was "at this time we can not refund you." I don't need everything refunded but how about the service fee and delivery fee. I will be skipping the use of this service. Shame on you.
My food was delivered to the wrong address. My milkshake was spilled and there was missing items. All they offered me was a refund on the spilled and missing items. I would have preferred that they delivered what I wanted, but just got the refund.
The worst customer service ever. Two orders delivered too cold to eat! I thought I would try one more time and the delivery driver went missing in action! Reported that he delivered to my address and did not. It took me one hour texting with two abysmal customer service agents before I received credits and then I couldn't use the credits until I upped my order! Finished ordering through these folks!

I thought signing up for Skip as a Courier would be easy like they advertise it, it's far from the truth. I have tried to sign up only to have to send multiple emails (I've lost count) to something that I still need completed. The customer service is always late to replying to my emails and it's gotten to the point where they are getting ignored now, keep in mind I have been very respectful in my emails no harassment or any sort. My last email with them was a confirmation email that my account was now finally activated, but that was lie clearly because I've tried to log into my account multiple times and it still tells me that my account is not yet activated. I tried calling because I was sick of waiting for emails, every time I call it's "busy". Horrible customer service experience.
If I could give less than one star for this company I would. I ordered food the other night and when the app said my food had arrived we went downstairs in my apartment building to meet the driver there, no one showed up and then I got a notification saying my food was delivered.
We gave them the benefit of the doubt being a previous courier driver myself, I know instructions can be misunderstood easily, so we looked around outside in case it was next to the doors or somewhere else. It was no where to be found so, I went into the support chat and explained my situation and they come to tell me that skip as unmet my expectations numerous times so they could not process me a refund and left the chat before I could say anything else. This happened to me with two different support team members and the third gave me more answers but still didn't help me get my refund.
I have never had an experience like this with skip or any other delivery service in my life and I order from them lots (without asking for refunds.). Needless to say SkipTheDishes has lost myself and my friends as supporters because all they do is scam people and take their money. Worst customer service, worst company.
I have been a user Skip The Dishes for some time and have enjoyed the convenience and service. Having my meal delivered to my door was a great aid to my life since I have mobility / walking challenges.
I placed an order on Jan 9,2022 which was not delivered (and not found nearby). When I contacted customer support I was told my missing order missing order will not to be credited. With no previous warning my account was locked from receiving credits. This order was placed with the same delivery instructions as I always have always supplied and the previous orders have been delivered to my door as requested.
This treatment is unacceptable that the customer should be held financially responsible for errors of the delivery driver or even errors in the food orders from the restaurant / supplier.
Credit for the missing order was refused.

Answer: They've done that to me many times then blocked my chat when they didn't want to hear they were wrong. WORST DELIVERY COMPANY EVER
