We order from a restaurant which is around 6kilometers away.
We've waited for 2 hours and no one picked up the order.
I ordered $60 worth of food with very easy instructions saying to meet at the entrance to my building. Normally I watch for a vehicle to pull up then I meet them in the parking lot so as to not inconvenience them. This time however no vehicle showed up. The tracker said my food was delivered. I'm wondering if the driver delivered it to their own mouth because nobody showed up. I will not be using skip the dishes again. I couldn't imagine being that terrible at my job.
I'm so beyond angry at the services I've been receiving from skip in Cornwall Ontario. Everytime I try to make an order I get a call saying something I ordered is unavailable and the only other replacement option is also unavailable. I do not want to wait up to 10 days to receive my money back and skip credits are not worth my time and money. Food always comes cold, takes a long time and the customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with.
They delivered my order to wrong address and only offered 50% of food item in skip credits. So order was 44$. And gave 13.95$. In skip credit for an order that I did. Not received at all. Will never use the service anymore. They steal people money
We ordered from Skip the Dishes; our food was late getting to us, and it was stone cold by the time we got it.
We decides that we would try Skip the Dishes again, and this time they totally lost our pre-paid food order. Never did see it. Bon appetit, to whoever got our dinner!
Don't waste your $#*!ing time or your money They rip you off on the price of the menu that gouge you and every which way for you to go Chase your $#*!
Everyhting else is better thn skip the dishes. It is the worst app for ordeing food. No refunds if the food is not delivered. What the hell i mean its my money nd giving it for something i havnt received is total wasteage. Not recommend at all
I will keep this short. They have terrible customer service. Even if you have an issue they will end the chat so you have no way of responding
Terrible customer service, very bad experience, skipe don't care, so I'll nerver use it. Very disappointed, failed order or missing items, and after repetition, they refuse to refund me
I never got my order and they would only offer me a 50% skip credit refund. Wouldn't even put it back on my card. Agent left the conversation before I was even done talking with him. Now I kind of want to get a job doing "customer service" at skip because by the looks of all the other reviews, you get paid to do literally nothing! They don't even do customer service over the phone, which speaks volumes.
Anyway, they stole my money, so I could never recommend this company. Other delivery services are a little more expensive, but you're better off going with them since you at least have more than a 50% chance of getting the food you paid for.
So I had a $10 off email off that they send to you when you don't use their service for long enough and when I went to use it I had to set up my new payment method and then the offer disappeared. (WIthout warning, almost paid full price)
I then contacted support and they could only offer to give me $10 credit after my next order. This would mean that to use the $10 credit, I would have to pay full price for 1 order and then have to order again to use the credit. To me this is unacceptable to pay an extra $10 when the purpose of the email offer was to give me $10 off.
I switched to door dash long ago for customer service and courier reasons and only ever come back to skip when they give me a good offer, even then it proves to be a terrible experience. 0/10.
Edit: the courier issue has been that they simply must not read the delivery directions half the time, not being able to follow simple instructions (ie basement apartment, not upstairs...) To be fair I've had this issue ONCE on door dash and it was solved using the driver/courier communication system they have.
I ordered from KFC. Entered my credit card info, paid. The order was cancelled because the restaurant was unresponsive. Skip refunded me in Skip credit. No biggie, I just ordered from a different KFC & used the credits. Order came & it was wrong. So, I called rastaurant but no one answered. I contacted Skip to ask what the proper chain of complaint was. Skip refunded me, which was appreciated but not their responsibility. Here it gets dicey. The gave me Skip credits. I told tje gentleman that I am on vacation in Nova Scotia & I don't have Skip in my location of Ontario so Skip credits are useless. He refused to refund my credit card. That's a joke! There has to be a bette rsystem
Delivery drivers obviously are taking more than one order, following them on the tracking map and watching them drive in the opposite direction f which ends up with me getting stone cold inedible food, or there's no drivers available which results in stone cold inedible food after waiting over an hour for a normally 10 minute delivery. Skip the dishes is poorly managed. The restaurants end up with poor reviews because the delivery service is awful. Something must change. The photo is of the tracking map which tells me the burger and fries that I ordered over 30 minutes ago is still over 30 minutes to wait. Absolutely ridiculous!
Always making mistakes and never taking ownership just relaying stupid scripts. Incompetent company and workers. Honestly this company needs to be shut down. I ordered a Big Mac combo and 6 nuggets and received a frappe after waiting over an hr for my food. No apology just a script saying they know I'm disappointed. A refund of my own money not even a $5 courteous credit for their mistake.
Your company is a joke you rip hard working families of for there hard earned money your drivers claim they deliver orders that Conveniently never show up then the customer contacts for help because there order doesn't show and the customers gets haha your out your money YOUR COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT THIEFS AND FRAUDS
Wow they must have 10 people working for them in 2022. I had to wait 2.5 hours for a burger from Wendy's. Let them colapse
Did not receive my delivery. They claimed the driver left it on the porch and delivered it successfully. My order was not there and they would not provide a refund because the driver said he delivered it. 50$, wasted.
On June 30, which was my 15th wedding anniversary, I placed an order #*******. The amount of my order was $60.99 plus courier tip, fees, etc for a total of $70.21.
Shortly after the STD driver picked up my order from the restaurant, the restaurant called me to let me know that the driver picked up the wrong order and let me know that I would be receiving the wrong order at my door. The restaurant told me to accept the order, but then to reorder what I had initially wanted, and that my initial order #******* would be refunded. So I placed the exact same order on order #*******. I had to, because my wife requires gluten free items, and there were no gluten free items in the mistake order.
Today, I noticed there was no refund issued, so I chatted with a CSR by the name of Jaya. Jaya apologized for the inconvenience, and told me that my order would be refunded in full.
I just looked at my credit card online, and it shows an amount of $60.00 being charged to my card, not credited. So now, I have two charges of $70.21, and now an additional charge of $60.99.
This is BRUTAL customer service. This is not the first time something like this has happened to me. I will not be using SkipTheDishes again.
Terrible wait times, They lie about the delivery time, Support does not care and just do what they are instructed versus what actually solves the situation at hand, sticking to a book rather than being adaptable. This is by far the WORST delivery company. (think uber, etc.)
My order was paid for and they did not deliver it at all!, I was home the whole time waiting for it. So when I tried to get my money back they wouldn't refund me, it's impossible to chat with the people on line, it seems to me that they can just about do anything they want to, they honestly don't care about the customer!
Answer: Not at all easy. And they are disrespectful, rude and downright terrible at providing service. The worst company I have ever dealt with.
