I'm so sorry that I paid for six months without checking the site out. I hate how it works and worst of all I got three of the same messages but different names telling me to go to emails of three other guys. Very shady I think that I'll check out a different site. Just saying

Scammers message you with the same message about finding love and they have friend interested in you. Give you an e-mail and tell you contact them. They will send pictures and be so happy you contacted them. Sender is canceling membership so copy info now. I got 8 similar messages, all different people. Same e-mail different names. DON'T JOIN.

Horribly unvetted and unmanaged as they claim they aren't intelligent enough outside of the 30 year old algorithms they use, to control their own website. Constantly bombarded with fakers and scam messages. However, if you dare complain/post the truth they will find time to censor it... and in the end, if you persist, they will block you altogether as the last photo shows. Nothing but a money trap that is begging for governance and congressional oversight. Any one up for CLASS ACTION?!

The site is a waste of my money and my time. Both which are valuable. In over a week I have not had one visitor look at my profile. I've been a member for several months and I've only had 18 people look at my profile. When trying to communicate with silver singles, I find it very difficult to do so. You even have to type in their email address by hand.
I have not had one date. I have not had one member wanting to exchange phone numbers, or meet.
I'm an attractive woman with much to offer. I've posted several pictures that are all current. I have placed myself out there to describe myself. I am not demanding or have any expectations. But not one visitor to my profile and over a week. What a waste of money this is. I have responded and communicated with a minimum of 25 people over that week. Not just a:-) actually sent a text. I regret paying for this service. I left elite singles unhappy with a similar experience. Not realizing silver singles is the same organization. What a waste of my time, my money, and my life.

I've been on this site for a couple of months now and have received several email notifications saying I've been contacted by a scammer. Also I receive a lot of form messages from scammers and men trying to take advantage. On the rare occurrence I've actually talked with someone, their profile magically gets taken down. Why? Because they were a scammer. If I send someone a smile all the scammers seems to know about it and I suddenly get flooded with smiles and messages from fake people. Don't bother with this site, it is a huge waste of money.

I am sad to report that I believe 100% that Silver Singles is like other dating websites, which probably are all owned by the same corporation, that tease members by sending them profiles of people who are either: (1) Not members yet and probably never will join; or (2) Are previous members who have no interest in rejoining.

For my birthday I got an email from SilverSingles offering me a 50% discount. So I decided to join for an entire year. When I went to pay and wrote my voucher number and my price was reduced by half BUT I got a text IMMEDIATELY from my credit card company asking if this was a fraud, AND it listed the WHOLE amount. I have written at least six emails to their (so-called) customer service and their latest excuse is that they don't give 50% off vouchers. I am livid.

I joined SilverSingles about a month ago and within this short period of time I realized most of the profiles are fake. I tried to cancel before the automatic renewal and that was a nightmare. There are no numbers to call and I did not receive a response to my email. I finally figured it out myself. Do not join this site!

I joined and realized first day there were very few on this site. Tried cancelling that was a joke they said I had 3 days to cancel I joined on Friday sent message same night (they said they didn't get it) Monday was a holiday so emailed again one
Tuesday and they said I couldn't cancel it had been longer then 3 days. I told them that I had contacted on the 1st night they said they didn't get it then I told them because of the holiday I called the day after they said I was too late I went back on their sight the same 6 guys are on that are available for a connection and they all live in a different state so I would definitely not recommend this like

I visited the "Free Option" of Silver Singles dating site and can definitely say I was underwhelmed. I truly believe the biggest scam artist are those that own and run the site but in all honesty, I think this is true with all dating sites.

Silver Singles: The whole personality questionnaire to me is a joke. Algorithms to match people up? So long and dragged out to the point I stopped reading the questions and just kept clicking whatever answer the cursor was at and I'll bet a dollar to a dime I'm not the only one. Here's a suggestion. How about the option to answer I don't care! I mean really, when someone picked a circle and another a square they are somehow not compatible?

Speak the truth and say anything negative about the site in your profile and it is rejected. IE, Q: What is important to you? A: finishing this stupid questionnaire!

And guess what! With no picture and every written word I entered being rejected…. I have someone who is interested in me. Imagine that. Some bright sexy successful woman 10 years my junior is interested in a blank page and for this they want money?

This is the worst dating site. Mostly scammers on here think SS are scammers too. Don't waste your hard earned money!

Like so many others, I regret joining Silver Singles -- a waste of my money and my time. I received more contacts from scammers than from legitimate users. I complained repeatedly and Silver Singles said the right things in response, but didn't actually do anything about the problem, even though the scammers are easy to identify. The most basic problem is that the site is supposedly restricted to those over 50. I'm 80, but I got hundreds of "smiles" or messages from women in their 30s and 40s. Why doesn't the company weed those younger people out? Because they're paying customers and SS doesn't want to lose the money. Avoid this company whatever you do!

It looks like they are just gathering personal and financial information. It's obviously not safe because the site is being hacked regularly. Then, they tend to overcharge and sometimes ban you for no reason. Women on SIlverSingles don't respond to my messages, it feels like a ghost town. I had no results there, men outnumber women greatly, so the women are unresponsive or rude. Instead of getting rid of fake profiles, SIlverSingles prefer to ban their paying members - it's not a site, it's a bad joke!

There are a lot of profiles to see, but they dont give you the option to search them. Yoyu are sent a certain number of profiles to review and they dont always fit your settings. Each morning when i log on, i get between 6 and 14 "smiles eithin a couple of minutes. Most are just flat out fake profiles. The list their email address in their name, or have their phone number in text in the picture. Very typical scam approaches.
I even got several pictures of a 20 ish blonde whos profile said 62 and black. Help center just replies with a canned message that says dont dhare information.
There are very few people that will even respond. I did meet one nice lady but she was already commited.

This site is a waste of time and money! All they do is play musical chairs with pictures of supposedly eligible singles and right non sense for them. Wonder if these people know their pics are being used! Was on hold too long as I attempted to speak to customer service. No one picked up just repeated a recording stating they were responding to other callers. Not very good customer service!
Sent emails... no response!

Liked several pictures and got random responses. One guy said he didn't know how to put up another pic? In this day and age? Well how did you get your profile pic up? Then the next day they send pics of eligible people outside of your geographical preferences and the company is not responding personally with info you filled out in the beginning!
Waste of time and money!
