I returned an item unused, in original packaging, and it was confirmed as delivered to their warehouse on July 7th. I heard nothing from this company for over 20 days—no confirmation, no update, no refund. Only after I reached out on July 25 did they suddenly claim the item was "possibly used" and that it would require "extra inspection time." I had to reach out again 5 days later to get a response. Let me be clear: the item was in perfect condition when I shipped it back, and what happens to it after it arrives at their facility is not my responsibility. The delay in processing the return is entirely on them. To now refuse a refund based on vague, unsupported accusations is not only dishonest, it's outright fraudulent. This company is happy to take your money, but will drag their feet and make up excuses when it's time to honor a basic return policy. Avoid them at all costs.
I ordered 3 pair of the jogger sleep pants, then immediately realized I had ordered the wrong color. I immediately emailed their customer service person asking to cancel the order and I then ordered the correct color. I still received, today, both orders, and now they won't allow me to return the original order of the wrong color. So now I have paid for both orders without any compensation to the tune of $280+. They also taxed me for both orders, and Minnesota does not tax clothing. I've notified them twice of this and have not seen any refund of my taxed dollars! Really lousy customer service!
Faded after 2 washings and looks terrible. $250 for the worst linen EVER! Feel like warm flannel, not linen.
My initial order was accidentally placed on hold for 3 months. I decided to give them another try but needed to adjust my order to something more seasonally appropriate. They had given 20% off of first orders, so I asked for 35%, given that they'd held onto $300 of my money for so long for nothing. They said yes but ended up giving 32.5%, which is such a small discrepancy but part of the overall issue with this company. They miscalculated what it would cost for import & taxes by $100 & having already paid $487, I couldn't possibly do it. I filled out a send back order with UPS & emailed them asking for a refund. I've ordered internationally before & have learned to expect a small discrepancy, but $100? No.
So now the bigger part of my issue:
I've had no reply to any of my emails, nor has UPS. It's been TWO WEEKS since my first email & they've closed my tickets without replying at all. One of the last emails I sent asked for simply an acknowledgement of receipt of my message & they can't even do that. So I'm just in limbo. I'm almost $500 out & for nothing. I truly wish I had never ordered from this company.
Answer: They're legit but act scammy. They do not have NEG reviews on their website except for customers complaining about their own mistakes "I thought it came with pillowcases", while AMAZON has tons of NEG reviews about sheets ripping within 4 months. AMAZON also has hidden NEG reviews in their 3-4 star reviews where customers complain of ripped sheets, but SIJO replaced that customer's sheet. So, pretty dishonest!
Answer: Brooklinen, Bella Notte, Natural Union, anyone else!
