As a fully qualified joiner I was ask to erect a shed.
Just started and already a number of parts are to small or not supplied,
The front side panels to the double doors were both 45mm short in width

The roof and this is the best part was not as long as the base 116mm short.

As for the roof covering well why bother sending any there was not enough anyway.

Now thinking is this pile of scrap wood fit for purpose.

Please if your looking for any type of wooden building do NOT use this company,
They have a feedback section on there site. www.shedsworld.co.uk but no feed back apart from some I guess they just made up themselves.

DONT BUY A SHED WITH THIS COMPANY!
Basically it advertises 48 hour delivery even when they know the shed is out of stock with the supplier (I know this after speaking direct to one of the suppliers). We ordered a shed on the 13th August and was promised delivery on the 22nd August, now been told it's out of stock and can't have it till next Tuesday! So unhelpful when I call to complain, quick to take your money but then don't supply the goods... it's a JOKE!

After reading the reviews on a number of sites I was somewhat put off by the reviews here on Shedsworld. But after some deliberation I came to the conclusion that Shedsworld must sell thousands of sheds and they are getting approx 1 bad review a month, so I went with it. I ordered the 6x3 Empire pent bike shed. I got an email the day after purchase confirming that the shed would be delivered 4 days later (inc. The weekend) and asked if the date suited. It did. The guy turned up at 7am and we had it off the truck within 5 minutes. I put it up yesterday and it is exactly what it says on the box. Generally there is enough fixings, just needed a few extra nails. There is one annoying split to one of the doors which just needs a bit of wood glue if I can be bothered. Great service especially considering the price.

I don't know if there has been a change of heart or complaints have been studied and rectified but I have had great service from them.

I ordered a Royal 8ft x 10ft Premium Tongue and Groove Reverse Apex Shed, it was delivered by a helpful guy and on time.

It has taken me some time for us to erect it but it was completed by ourselves, without help; I am 77 and my wife 82 and we are no experts.

We had door delivered which had a broken part and a split in one of the edging pieces. I telephoned their help line and after a short wait a bright young lady, Marie I think she said here name was, took all the details down and said they correct intact pieces would be delivered within 5 days and they were.

The shed was as I expected and we are extremely pleased with it. Having read the other posts I felt I had to say that we had no complaint.

What a joke didn't arrive on delivery date was eventually delivered and dumped outside on the drive. Was not the ordered shed and was of very poor quality told them to collect for a full REFUND.
After 15 emails with no reply and numerous phone calls with a 40 min wait to customer service after 3 weeks I have still not received my refund I am now having to claim back my money from credit card company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY I GUARANTEE YOU WILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS. PEOPLE SHOULD READ BEFORE PURCHASING.

We ordered a shed with a confirmed delivery date. This date was confirmed twice. Two days before delivery we received a call saying it could not be delivered on that date. Delivery was re scheduled for the 1st of April... should have known... so second day's work cancelled and still no shed delivered. Have sent an immediate email refusing any delivery and demanding full refund. However we were sensible enough to pay by credit card so will claim back from the card company. Spent 26 minutes waiting for customer services - then another 8 minutes on hold. THEN i checked out the reviews online - wish i'd done it sooner! - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - OR ITS PARENT COMPANY WORLD STORES. Check out the reviews on site jabber on any website before you do business. You have been warned.

Firstly, just to explain I bought this shed to store the contents of my garage in for 3 months while it gets rebuilt. It will probably last the 3 months I need it for (hence the average rating), but I'd be surprised if it lasted much longer. I'm writing the review here as well as I'd be surprised if they publish my review. It was for a Royal 6x6 tongue and groove apex shed.

So, for the review. It's a 6x6 shed, however I doubt it's 6 foot tall in the middle. I'm 6 foot and can't stand up in it even in the centre of the apex. Must have been made in the land of the little people.

The wood is poor quality - looks like pallet wood, and the uprights less than an inch across. A few of the thinner pieces of wood were broken on unwrapping, so I had to replace those when building it.

I'm not beginner for flat pack building, but the instructions were vague to say the least. The screws and nails supplied were ok, but the roof felt tacks were ridiculous - only about 5mm long and were no use at all.

Oh, and why this is called Royal I am not sure - it's a BillyOh shed.

Overall what can I say - if I'd bought this for anything other than temporary storage I'd be gutted. However it is a cheap shed, and if thats what you need (and you are less than 5 foot 6 tall) then go for it.

Absolutely appalling customer service. I ordered the shed via phone and also paid £120 for installation which stated would be erected 2-5 days after delivery. The shed came within 2 days but the appointment for installation was made 3 weeks later. After waiting this period of time, they turned up and refused to do it saying there wasn't enough room. My 75 year old father and husband ended up putting it up with no problem within 2 hours! When I phoned to ask for a refund the Customer Service operator was rude, talked over us and refused to refund the money. The shed itself is Ok for a budget shed but definitely not worth the agro I'm going to have trying to get my well earned money back... in short, DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Update... The shed has been up for 2 days and the rain has come through the tongue and groove joints and soaking the inside of the shed. The cheap chipboard floor is now soggy and wet. All in all I feel pretty stupid and ripped off by this rogue company. If only I had searched the reviews before buying...

I got this on August after waiting for ages for it to be delivered. Called to complain and was told to take pictures and dismantle. Dismantled it and waited over a month for reply. Was told the pictures are not detailed enough and they want photos of all four sides of the constructed shed. I can't reconstruct the shed myself. My brother has started working 500 miles away so he can't reconstruct the shed for me to take photos. Now all I have is a deconstructed poor quality shed. The sides are made of cheap quality fence panel like material that is stapled together, it's uneven. The floor and roof are mdf and the windows are very poor quality plastic sheets. The she I purchased is Royal 6x6ft pressure treated overlap apex, since I purchased it it now has budget in the title. Though it's still the same price. £219.99. Interestingly there are no reviews for it. Probably because reviews are only published if they meet shedworlds guidelines, I wonder what they are!
