Orderd a shed sunday 2pm, states if orderd sunday before midnight 48hr delivery would be the tuesday... when selecting my delivery date it gave me thursday earliest?...( 4 day delivery time) ok i can live with that i suppose... Oh no... receive email on the tuesday asking me to choose a delivery date?... earliest 13th well that now makes it 14 day delivery not 48hr or even 4 days for that matter... Cancel my order as im now furious as i could have used any company for 14 day delivery, i chose these as their website states 48hrs... 3/5 working days till money is returned to my account? Fast enough to take it from me for nothing... was going to order guniea pig run, i wont be ordering anything else from this company... completley let down...
Emblazoned on their website is next day delivery. NOT TRUE. They take your money quick enough then send automated email saying thry cant deliver and will be in touch, which of course they arent. Reporting to trading standards me think.
Ordered shed - nothing delivered, no contact, can not get through on phone, no reponse to emails, just like most of people on here
I researched all the shed firms, as I wanted a good quality shed.
I paid, got email to confirm payment, then nothing.Not unless 2 weeks later, when delivery driver called and said he's at my place. I was working, so he couldn't get in.He took shed back, and nobody called me Ive been told another week.
When I contacted this useless firm, I got a weak reply.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CRAP FIRM
I ordered and paid for a shed a week ago and surprise surprise no shed, no calls answered, no emails responded to. I paid on card so will be going to open a dispute on the matter and get my money back. I wish I had read the reviews before I had made payment. I honestly urge people not to take the chance it seems there is a major issue here with this company.
I ordered a log store a week ago, they were quick to take my money and my log store hasn't even been dispatched. I have sent numerous emails and tried calling to no response. Even if you call at 8 am in the morning it states they are busy. DO NOT buy from this company.
I wish that I had found this site prior to ordering a shed from ShedWorld. It impossible to get a response to a telephone call and you are asked to use their contact form. It does however warn you that they are extremely busy and that it "may" take five days to get any kind of response via that form.
After reading the posts here, I have warned my credit card company that the whole thing may well be some sort of online fraud and that I will be involving them in any ongoing dispute.
Two days later, and despite having no resolution from ShedWorld to my problem, I have had an email asking me to rate them on how well they dealt with my problem. It's laughable really.
On 13th October, after 45 minutes waiting on the phone, I spoke to a customer service agent. We discussed my problems with non delivery of my shed, she sympathised and said she would a cancellation order in and a refund of my money. Sadly, a week later, no refund has appeared BUT, I have again been asked to rate them on the way they dealt with my complaint. I WISH they did make the sheds instead of ordering in them in from a third party.
I ordered Shed the delivery was between 2 to 3 weeks. I received prompt email confirming the order. After 3 weeks I tried to contact the company to find out about the delivery. I was held up on the telephone for half hour then cut-off. I sent an email complaining. Received a standard email back that my query will be dealt with in 5 days. Do not know what to do next. Never order from this company again.
Ordered a shed to be delivered, they first told me it will take 3 and a half weeks, after talking to them they managed to get it to two weeks, got a text the night before and got my order delivered the next promising day, was 30 mins late due to traffic on road,
So overall very happy!
Ordered a wooden playhouse for my daughters 5th birthday. I ordered a week in advance (didn't think any issue with this given they offer a 48hr delivery service) I even had a confirmation email of the delivery date. I arranged for family to come sit in and wait until I could get home. After some concern about the tracking service saying "awaiting shipping" I decided to ring this 'so called company'. It took me over 25 mins to get through to a customer services adviser, after being warned of high call volumes (I can now see why!) He advised he would call me back and fair play to the guy, he did, but I was told "a technical difficulty with the product code" (scripted methinks!) was to blame for my product not being delivered. This was at 3pm after waiting from 8am.
After reading some of the reviews I decided to just cancel my order.
I would advise anyone not to order from this company or its parent company world stores. I will now have a very disappointed daughter on her Birthday. Very upsetting:-(
They sent me a link to arrange delivery, but it doesn't work. Nor do either of the order numbers they sent me allow me to log in. After 20 minutes on the phone I gave up. Heaven knows when I will get through or get delivery.
These guys are a bunch of useless, worthless jokes. There service is rubbish I am trying to get a refund. Shed was meant to be next day. No show no contact, I can only guess the crap shed that they will send, I just hope to get my money back. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY! Crap.
They are quick to take my money and quick to deliver but as soon as there is a problem with it they don't want to know I've been trying to get in touch with them regarding this matter but all they can say is your not on our system even though I have a receipt I wouldn't recommend them and wouldn't buy again
I ordered a shed for a very competitive price and it was delivered intact and on time. Having read lots of customers reviews, I was really worried and expected something to go wrong with my order however i needn't have worried. Just thought I would put my comments out there. Well done ShedsWorld!
Not enough people would write a review when happy with a product but many would when annoyed and feel hard done by. I feel I need to write a review to put people's minds at ease if wanting to order from here but are put off because of the reviews, because I was but bit the bullet anyway.
So I ordered the Winchester 10x6 garden shed. Asked for it to be delivered on the Monday. Low and behold it arrived before midday on the Monday. A good start!
Delivery driver dropped it all off into my front garden by himself and I moved all the parts to the back garden. Instructions were simple and once I had checked I had all parts I started assembly. I'm useless at DIY and this was the first major thing I had done. Within 7 hours it was all up and together. My only issue was after 7 hours I was hot, sweaty and wanting to jump in the shower but on the final part of felting the roof I was angry that they hadn't supplied enough felt
For the roof! So at 7pm I had to rush to B&Q to get some at an extra £20 cost. I emailed the customer service team and in the morning I had an email stating they were sorry and if I sent an image of my
Receipt for the felt they would refund the cost. Something which began now has happened. So all in all very happy indeed and I now have my
Man cave!
I used this company due to its 48 hour delivery option but 8 days on I still have not received my shed. The website offered me a Sunday delivery and indeed used that delivery date on the paperwork... when in fact nether the company or its manufacturer delivers on a Sunday.
Every time I ring Sheds World it's a minimum of a 20 minute on hold before I get to speak to anyone although admittedly the customer service agents have all been very helpful and apologetic.
The tracking system does not work if the manufacturer organises its own delivery so my delivery is still (hopefully misleadingly) saying awaiting shipping.
All in all a very poor, VERY misleading service... and I am still shed less!
Have waiting in all day today. No show on my shed. No contact either. Avoid this company at all costs
I ordered a lightweight garden spade for my elderly parents from Shedsworld UK. The item was being sold for more money on their website than elsewhere, but it was showing as 'in stock.' They promised to deliver the next day.
6 days later the item hadn't arrived and no communication from Shedsworld UK.
My elderly mother tried to contact Shedsworld. 2 emails and half an hour waiting on hold later, only to be told that the item was actually out of stock and they had no idea when it would be in stock. Furthermore, they had taken her money and would take up to a week to return it.
This company do not hold items in stock. They take your money and then go out to the market to see if they can locate it. And their customer service is appalling.
Avoid at all costs!
Waited 2 weeks for delivery. Booked a day off work unpaid due to running out of holiday days. Had a missed call from company to say that they could not find my address so we're not delivering today. Rang them straight back for a delivery driver to say "Couldn't find your address so you won't be getting it today mate". This was at 8.30am. Tried to ring the company back up, was on hold for 45 mins to be cut off twice! Finally managed to get through and they told me it would be next week and they will leave my 7X5 shed with a neighbour! I'm not even having the audacity to ask my neighbour to take my shed in. Told them that it was unacceptable and their response was "well you're not getting it today mate". Seriously would not recommend this company to anyone! Getting a refund and going elsewhere with better customer service.
Very impressed with communications, given a date for delivery the day after ordering. This company 'makes' sheds to order, which is reassuring as they are actually the manufacturer not just a supplier. Delivery was confirned for 3 weeks after order. The driver turned up on time, nice and early 9am (he'd started work at 4am, driving down from Leeds!) and brought at the component parts to my garden, nice cheerful chap and gave some tips on erecting - cheers! The instructions were easy to follow, and I had the cycle store/shed up in no-time. I decided to give the shed another coat of stain, not that it needed it but just to match the fence. Altogether very happy with service, value for money without compromising on quality - thanks ShedsWorld!
