Canadian Buyers Beware

If you are ordering from Canada, even on their "Canada" site. You will have to pay another $40+ to pick it up form Canada Post. Buy another brand that is truly canadian site. Customer service will not help and once again tell you to read the poilicies which are not easy to find and do not fall for the FREE SHIPPING and Free Returns headline

I stumbled across this company on Social media. I read some reviews and decided to try out the shaping cami. I went by the size chart and ordered a medium. The garment is comfortable overall for about the first 30 minutes of wearing and then it rolls up constantly. To the point where I have not successfully worn the cami for more than a couple hours, then I get frustrated and change.

The website worked smoothly and I received my order in a timely manner though. I didn't explore the option of trying to exchange them for a larger size because I did order based on their size chart and received the correct item. Based on reading these reviews, my decision to not pursue an exchange is a good one.

Sizing is waaay off & Delivery Issues

I ordered 3 Shaoer Cami's as I had seen them advertised on Facebook. In the ad they appear to even out lumps and bumps and give a sleek figure fit. I followed the sizing chart carefully after 2 delivery attempts where Shapermint neglected to put the correct address on my package and more than 2 live chats with Customer Service I finally received my order after 2 months. The 2XL which says is for a US size 14 - 16 is so small It was useless, I know these are supposed to be figure hugging but that is ridiculous. I would equate the 2XL to an average M size of any chain store. I now have to go through what I anticipate will be a painful process to either return and get a refund or a bigger size. Looking at the size chart their largest is a 4XL and I have no idea what size that actually equates to in reality.

I am so disappointed, if they had lived up to the ad it would have been a great product. My advice is ignore the Facebook ad where the model puts on the cami with ease and it miraculously smooths out her curves.

Uncomfortable fit, it was 3 sizes bigger than I needed yet it fit extra small. Submitted online request for refund. No response just several emails to to buy more products. Tried calling customer service, unable to reach live person. Wish I would have read the reviews prior to pursuing my items. It's possible this company is based in a third world country because it's impossible to to reach anyone. I strongly suggest other stick with Wal-Mart or Amazon. At least you will get streamline customer service. My order #SM******* ad proof of purchase.

Not Happy at All!

I bought bras which don't fit, you can't get a human on the phone and to add to that, they signed me up for the shaper mint Club that I did not authorize for 4.99 a month which they are talking out of my credit card each month just beware!

I ordered a scoop neck cami in black and received a white bra. I've reached out via email which has been a waste of time! I also tried reaching out using the instant messaging on their website which is useless. Given my experience with this company I would say buy from some place else. When there's no phone number, address and you have few options don't make purchases with them. Don't waste your time and save your money!

In order to get a bra that fit around my ribs I needed to get a 2x. That made the cups wwaaaayyyy too big. There is no option to change cup size. Expensive. Flimsy fabric. Bunches up on shoulders. Too high at neckline for anything but a t-shirt. Not recommended.

NEVER AGAIN
July 26, 2022

Ordered on 7-17. Email stated that it would ship in 5-7 business days. On the 7th business day I emailed to find out where my order was. A computer kept sending me the same scripted saying, telling me nothing more than I knew before. When I asked to speak to a live person I got the same wording as before so I don't believe it was a person at all. They WILL NOT tell me what state my order is shipping from just that it is in the US. And they cannot give me a tracking number. Told them to cancel the order since it has not shipped out and they said it cannot be cancelled. I don't trust companies that are vague with their answers and this one really is questionable.

Unethical business practices

Took my money and sent me nothing

Bottom line: file a paypal claim and get your money back.

I ordered almost a month ago. I started contacting them about a week ago because I have received zero updates. They acknowledge the shipping delay but repeatedly refuse to refund. They took my money and are not upholding their end of the transaction. I filed a claim with PayPal and status is pending. May file with the FTC next. This is 100% not okay. *****UPDATE: Paypal refunded me as i expected they would. Shapermint sent my items around the same time. So I ended up with the bra, bra saver, and the full refund. I tried on the bra and it is very soft but I would not wear it because it lacks support. Think of it as a low-support, soft sports bra.

I placed my order 12 days ago. I've not gotten an email stating my order has shipped or anything. When I check the app. It shows the order but no movement. If you try to contact them you get a bot responding. At this point, I will be filing a complaint with BBB. This company should be ashamed of themselves. At this point I just want a refund.

Love every item I have purchased. 10 days ago I placed my third order it has still not shipped. Seriously takes forever. Irritating, and don't use online chat it will upset you more. But if you can be patient the bras and underwear are awesome. It's like wearing a cloud. Fix the shipping issue please!

Still waiting...

I ordered an item online from Shapermint's website on 7/3/22. On 7/7 I received a shipping notification, complete with tracking number. It's now 7/18, I haven't received my order, and trying to use the tracking number gets me the same result every time: either the item is still awaiting pickup or it's en route. This morning, after half an hour of trying, I was able to get past Shapemint's customer service 'bot and connect with an actual service rep. All she could do was confirm the order and give me the exact same tracking number. When I protested, she offered me a discount on my next order if I signed up for text message updates. I refused, since I was already put off by the website's repeated attempts to upsell me when I placed the initial order, and by the barrage of marketing emails I've received since then. When I tried to cancel the order, I was informed that it was "too late."

I've since read multiple reviews from other customers who've placed orders in the past few months, all with the same complaint about slow/never received shipments. If and when my order arrives, I'll be refusing the shipment. Maybe if others do the same and Shapermint has to eat the return shipping costs, they'll address their crummy fulfillment service.

UPDATE: Aaaaaand now it's 7/25 and I'm still waiting. About to contest the charge on my credit card.

UPDATE 7/29: Received an email from Shapermint 7/26 saying my original shipment was lost and they were going to send out another one. Never received any shipment info. Went to the website today, dealt with an online rep, asked for a refund and got it. It's supposed to show up in my account in the next 5-10 working days; if it doesn't, I'll be back to update again.

I have purchased a couple of Shapermint items and really like them a lot. If you want to be held in, these are the garments to wear.

However, if you find that you don't like an item or it just doesn't fit, good luck with your return. I have been trying for two months to return these flimsy "boy short" bottoms but I can't even get into my account. I get cutesy emails saying "No worries" and "we got you" but they don't got me. They're good at that but they're useless when trying to establish your account so that you CAN return something. I have sent them photos of the packages I've received with the tracking info, but what I've learned is that providing a lot of information to assist them is the equivalent to sending them no information.

Good luck, and be sure you choose carefully because trying to return something is more trouble than it's worth.

SCAM AND FRAUDE

AFTER 5 MINUTES WHEN MY MINOR DAUGHTHER PURCHASED THIS WITHOUT MY CONSENT, i HAVE TRIED TO CANCEL THE WHOLE ORDER BUT I COULD NOT DO IT. I WENT INTO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD A MONTHLY AUTOMATIC PAYMENT SET UP FOR FUTURE PURCHASES. WHICH I HAVE CANCELLED INMMEDIATELY. I RECEIVED THEN A TEXT SAYING THAT I COULD NOT CANVELLED BECAUSE THE PAYMENT WAS MADE ALREADY:(
I HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATING WITH THEM AND THEY SAID THAT THE ITIEM HAS BEEN MAILED ALREADY (BS OF COURSE) I HAVE OPENED A DISPUTE WITH PAYPAL AND HOPE PAYPAL KICK OUT THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY :( SHME ON THEM

Be cautious when ordering

I have not recieved my items yet, so i cannot speak to that, but the shopping experience was not good. I placed an order today for two items because I wanted to try them out before buying more. When checking out, their site kept popping up with additional promotions that I declined, when finished ordering, one of the promotions was added regardless of my declining. Since this was added as I was checking out, there is no option to confirm order or remove item. I waited for sometime to get through to cancel the item, but by the time I got through to anyone no adjustments or cancelations could be done (they only give you an hour). I apparently can return the item, but only have 60 days to do so, and given shipping times to Canada, it's 50/50 I'll even be able to do that. If I had liked the items, I would have bought more, but this experience makes me very wary about doing so
