Just needed a cup
August 17, 2020

I ordered a set of dishes. A cup was broken so they sent me another 1 that was shattered. Again I called and they sent me a whole set of dishes. I was told to take a cup out and return the rest with the broken cup. They said they can't send just 1 cup. But they already did. I said I would keep the dishes if they'd give me a discount. They said they can't do that.So I'm returning EVERYTHING.Im tired of getting ripped off.Not to mention time and money. They lost a good customer.Im done ordering on line. Beware

Stop calling
July 11, 2020

I returned an item that took over a month to get back and process, I had to pay pay for the turn on there over price piece of trash item, that didn't even work. I still owe them 28 bucks and some change for the postage of the return. They call me many times a day everyday. I will pay this cuz i am working improving my credit but they will hear an ear full when call to make the payment and I will make the payment over the phone! I did not want to rate this a 1 cuz i believe it doesn't even deserve that 1 star. I this review will not let me submit without it.

Customer since 2012
October 18, 2019

This company gave me so much credit and after I paid them in full had the nerve to tell me to pay 1000. 00 down on a 1061. 00 charge because I had something on my credit report, really when they just sent me an email notice to spend 3500. 00 for the Christmas holiday.
What a scam after being with them since 2012, I'm extremely pissed off with these scammers.

I bought from 7th Avenue for years, I knew that I could easily buy particular items several times over a period of time. They sold shoes that I like, and I rebought the same shoe 4 times. But it is so easy to buy other "stuff" that I ran up a $1700. 00 bill over the years, paying the minimum + $10-20 per month. Lots of their goods are craptastic, others are good to excellent. I decided to pay $1000. 00 toward my bill to reduce my payment, so I could more quickly pay it off. YOUR PAYMENT NEVER GOES DOWN below the rate for your highest balance. Since they keep increasing your credit limit, you might as well keep buying... at least, that is what it looks like their strategy is.
Other folk have had accounts opened at Seventh Avenue fraudulently. What usually happens is that their "group" of names that they own (Ginny's, Montgomery Ward, Swiss Chalet etc) send catalogues with pre-approved account codes in the catalogues tied to your credit information. A typical scammer gets your catalogue out of your mailbox or garbage and uses your information to buy gifts for another address. You never know until they begin to harrass you for payment for goods you never ordered from a company you may never have heard of. Needless to say, their customer service will not be helpfull.

Wish I knew then what I know now!
January 17, 2019

After receipt of several catalogs I placed an order for cookware. To my surprise the items were excellent. My complaint is with how they manage the "credit" accounts. I made my first payment in less than 30 days, before the due date and more than the min amount. My next payment was an auto-pay, however due to fraud during the holidays on a couple of my bank accounts, it was returned and I didn't notice. By the time I did, I immediately replaced the payment. In the meantime, 7th Ave., DROPPED MY LIMIT to $100. Really! The balance was $130. They "might" have a handful of items under $100. That caused a negative balance which they quickly reported to the credit agencies! Anyway, I called in, payed it off and closed it. Too bad though as I had planned to buy 2 more sets of the cookware. I'll just look for the brand online and purchase elsewhere.

Crooks
November 29, 2018

Crooks! This seventh avenue appears to operate an in house "fraud department. An example scam: company buys mailing lists, then sets up fake in-house accounts using only limited mail list info like name & address, then process a fake purchase/ invoice, the "customer/victim" that never heard of them gets a bill in the mail... then either the the victim pays accidentally (ie: fake bills are usually a few hundred dollars, or victim calls in and is immediately forced into a "reporting third party identity theft" process. The ID theft forms and process are actually designed to complete their identity theft of your information. They will eventually insist you fill out their forms and disclose your social security number to them or continue to leave the account open with old and new "fake" purchases begin charged to you the victim... by the way, this company says they do not require social security number or bank info or similar in order to set up an in house credit account...

Awesome finds
February 22, 2017

I got a Seventh Avenue Catalog in the mail one day and I browsed through it and found some really interesting things that I decided to go ahead an purchase, and I really glad I did. They have some really incredible things that I've never even seen at stores and some things I have. Like, who many of you have "Soup & Cracker Bowls", or even know what those are? I DO! And I bought 2 of them form Seventh Avenue. In case your wondering, and even if you don't care. They are bowls with and extra "lip" or "pocket" on the side that hold your crackers for your soup, or dip for chips or anything you need an extra lip or pocket for! I actually wish I had purchased 6, keep 2 for us and give the other 4 to my in-laws, my daughter and her fiance'.

Just as Brylanehome, I am always satified with the quality of products they sell, the delivery is always on time or even sooner then estimated.
Highly recommend!
