Really pleased with the service from SelectSpecs. I ordered one pair of specs just to see what they would be like and have since ordered another two pairs. The website is really easy to use and the specs arrive quickly. Great service and exceptional value particularly when compared with the high street opticians.

I had measles as a child and that left me with only peripheral vision in my right eye. This,. Now combined with the early stages of cataracts, has made me feel increasingly vulnerable and contributed to significant fusiness about the glasses I wear. Add to this the fact that I could be described as "price sensitive" so many high street and/or on-line opticians struggle to fully address my concerns.
SelectSpecs have done a really good job for me and always at a very reasonable cost - often glazing prestigious frames bought for a bit of a song after haunting ebay. I have opted for their top of the range varifocals, sometimes with added "Polaroid" or "Transtions" coatings. This has worked well for me because we spend a lot of time in France, including sailing. They do very well with carefully marked lenses and the one ovvasion they hot the lenes wrong, they pushed through the free replacement as s priority.
In my view, despite not being the best value currently for "Transitions X" lenses, they deserve their hard won success in a highly competetive developing market - quality at keen prices will always win out.
I sent three items of prescription eyewear to SelectSpecs for reglazing to my new prescription. I provided my optician't prescription and SelectSpecs measured my pupillary distance from one of the pairs of spectacles I sent them.
SleectSpecs kept me updated about when to expect my eyewear back and it arrived promptly, with a great job done. Reglazing saved me a lot of money and I kept the frames which I like, so I didn't have to choose the latest fashion sold by my optician (which I don't like!)

This is my second pair of glasses ordered from SelectSpecs as the first pair which are for distance are fantastic, i'm now ordering reading glasses. Can i say that SelecSpecs were on time with the delivery, the glasses were first rate and my prescription was spot on. I can't say any better than that. Try them out.

Went above and beyond to ensure the spectacles I ordered for my partner were perfect when I left some vital information off the order, they mailed me a couple of times ensuring they could supply the correct product that she needed not what I had ordered, all the products we have had are exactly as described and as per her prescription hard wearing and good quality at a fraction of the cost we had been paying. We have had prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses (as seen in the picture below)
For a online spectacles they or excellent perfect fit and mine were Varifocal and was perfect so pleased with them and this is the 3rd time with them
