Shades themselves are nice. Ordering and shipping, all good. Installing them; not so much. The first problem I encountered on installation was the "clip-on" mounting brackets offer ZERO tolerance for uneven walls of an older house. Select Blinds say nothing about an outside mount with traditional window casing. If you attempt to install the mounting clips directly to the wall the roll shades will drag across the top piece of window casing. This means you have to first shim out enough so that the roll shades don't drag across the window casing. That means cutting and installing a mounting board under the shade box, then installing the "clip-on" mounting brackets to that board. After you've accomplished all that, the pull chain has, for the roll shades a bottom "locking pulley" that needs to be installed to the wall. The instructions for this are a poorly put together "pictogram." Detail on this 2 screw installation is extremely important because if you install the "locking pulley" too high, it will not function correctly and you will have re-install it lower which means making new holes in the wall. If they were to provide actual instructions instead of a poorly printed "pictogram " perhaps you might avoid this mistake.

Our 88 inch blinds fit the window perfectly. We are very happy waking up to a one length blind. I would have woken up disappointed every morning by looking at two or three blinds covering the opening rather than one beautiful blind. Excellent!

Easy to put together and install. I would like it to be easier to raise and a little more sturdy. Overall it does what I want it to, and looks nice.

I ordered three sets of shades and they fit beautifully and look great. However, when I was asked by the person taking my order, if I wanted shade handles, I said, "Yes." Big mistake. Unlike the previous shade that I had ordered, it was no longer a passive handle. The new shade handles contain a locking mechanism that needs to be pressed down hard, whenever the shade is moved. This is a problem for people with arthritis in their hands. When I asked if the locks could be disconnected from the handle, I was told, "No". I paid for the satisfaction guarantee but I was told that only applied to the shade's fit. I am stuck with them and struggle every single time they need to be opened or closed. The change in the handles need to be clearly stated. It is a totally unnecessary added function.

This is the 3rd time I've ordered from select blinds because we have unusual sized windows. Each time I'm nervous they won't fit and each time they've been perfect. No complaints here.

The website was easy to navigate and the order process was straightforward. We received exactly what we ordered, and excellent packing ensured everything was undamaged. Installation was ridiculously easy: 10 blinds installed in less than 2 hours. We love the look and the quality. The only downside was the hold-down/tension fitting for the operating chain. It might be a regulatory thing, but the supplied fixtures require two hands for operation and are clumsy to use. I replaced them with simple loop fixtures that work fine and look better than the supplied item.

I have ordered several times from Select Blinds and am always satisfied with my purchase. The quality of the blinds is excellent and instructions on the website are very clear when measuring for the blinds. Delivery is fast and installation is easy!

We ordered new blinds after our renovations, we had the old type with plastic slats. Which holds all kinds of dust. When we found your company we ordered for 1 room, and they look fantastic. So then we ordered blinds for all of our windows. Being able to pick it being inside the window vs covering the entire window with the matching cassette; we are just thrilled with them all. We had 9 windows and they will have all 'select blinds" one other note, we got them made to fit our windows perfectly. We couldn't be more happy with them.

This is the most expensive blind/shade we've ever splurged on, but the pattern matched the wallpaper we're using so we decided to go for it. It is very well-made; good quality. Don't think the opening/closing mechanism will break after a couple years like other blinds. Easy installation. Very satisfied.

I was really wary of buying blinds "on-line" but this was so easy and the blind is beautiful

The solar shades I ordered were delivered on time and were very nice! Good quality and price. Will do business with again.

I love the "guarantee your fit" option. It's a huge piece of mind to have that nominal charge to know if I messed up the sizing, it's no big deal or expense. I also plan to order some more and will go with the "no-drill' option. Genius!

Shades are fine but others can do this. They lost my order in warehouse could not get me info and said warehouse was a different system. They lost the order in shipping. I asked for compensation but no one got back to me. Liars and terrible service

Absolutely horrible customer service to the point that they would NOT ALLOW me to return a blind for a refund. Do NOT use Select Blinds
