After my purchase, I was told my blind would be delivered by the 19th, which was a couple of days before I was scheduled to leave for a 2 week vacation. When it was time to leave for my vacation, I called SelectBlinds to say that the blind had not arrived yet and I would not be there to inspect the blind when it arrived, so could I have an extension on the inspection period. I was told that I could have another 10 days to inspect the blind after I received it. The blind was delivered at some point while I was away, but I do not know which day. I opened the package and everything looks OK but it will take another two weeks, at least, for our handyman to install the blind. Until then I do not know if it was manufactured to my specifications. Hopefully all will be well. I like the design and color and my customer service experience was very good.
The ordering process was easy. I paid for the additional fit insurance and I'm so glad that I did. Something needed to be resized and the customer service experience was superb! I plan on using this company again as I need more blinds as part of a whole house remodel.

The window treatment industry has become ridiculously complicated and expensive. I wanted a simple pair of pull down honeycomb blinds and got them cut to size and sent quickly. Thanks.
The website was fantastic! From selection of items to how to measure tools and videos for install I found every thing I needed to buy from SelectBlinds. They under promise and over deliver! I'll buy here again as needed. The no drill blinds are well made and the installation feature can't be beat. It is the strongest tension installation I've seen.
I order some shades 9/18 and my order will come in November! Just horrible. After I called to see what's going on, they told me they didn't have one part so my order will come 2 months after …. Hopefully who knows

Installed as directed, blind was short. Hard to close wide blind, need better handles for lowering blinds. Poor metal brakes for locking in blind assembly.
I received my first order and the roller unfortunately broke during shipping. I sent a video of the damage and they sent me new blings as quick as they can with no extra charge. Excellent service.

I ordered custom blinds at the end of August, and they were approved and sent to production the first week of September. The estimated production time was originally 5-7 business days for the specific blinds I ordered. After 2 weeks went by I noticed the estimated ship date kept getting pushed back, so I reached out to support and they said they weren't able to contact production directly, but the estimated ship date that was listed should be mostly accurate. 2 more weeks went by and the ship date continued to get pushed out every day. I reached out to support again going back and forth for 5 days on the status of my order, where they eventually escalated my request to production and told me they made a mistake and the website should have never let me place the order because the size I ordered could not be produced with the material I selected. This was especially frustrating because it never should've been approved for production. They said they could make them in a smaller size which would not fit my window. I said that wouldn't work for me, and said I would like to just cancel and get my money back for all the trouble. It is days later I am still waiting for them to confirm that my order was canceled and refund me the hundreds of dollars I spent. While the support people were kind and I could tell they were trying to be as helpful as they could be, it was clear that the company was unorganized and mismanaged and they would have just kept my money and pushed the date out forever if I hadn't continued to reach out and escalate the issue. I am still unsure if/when I can expect my refund. Overall it's been a very frustrating experience and I would recommend going with a more reliable company to avoid these kinds of issues

The shutters were made and arrived on time. We were very excited but once we took them out of the box we were no longer excited. They were made very cheaply! Some of the hinges were installed crooked and were loose, and 3 of the louvers weren't installed correctly and weren't even snapped together. Once we put them together (using the worst instructions imaginable, which was a poorly copied page of photos) the doors were so crooked and one of the doors wouldn't even shut. We had to take them back apart and try again until we figured out which parts went where. The doors were still crooked and the gaps between the doors and above and below were all messed up. We ended up having to create spacers for the hinges in order to get the doors to look halfway decent.

Fast service and great quality blinds. I will be placing an order soon for my living room and other areas of my house.
My experience with Select Blinds was great from start to finish. I ordered fabric vertical blinds for my kitchen. I mistakenly placed the order for the wrong size for one window. I called and customer service fixed the issue, hassle free. The blinds were delivered earlier than expected. They were easy to install, great instructions inside. They are beautiful and slides open so easily.
Mailing was perfect installing was pretty easy, but I do notice that the fabric starting to fray a little on the outside
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
