My wife and I purchased two Samsung Galaxie S7 edge's and submitted a claim for the Gear VR offer. They rejected the receipt saying first is was not purchased at an approved location and secondly that the prices of the two devices were not on the receipt. We spent around $1600 for two phones at an approved Verizon store and sent them the entire receipt and Samsung ran out of the product and is doing every thing they can to get out of honoring this promotion. Samsung has great products what is happening to there customer satisfaction?

BEWARE!
May 12, 2016

We had a Samsung GalaxyS6 egde for about 6 months and it just stopped working. We called samsung to see if it was still under warranty and they said they would replace it. It took 3 weeks of calling back to receive an email with a shipping address in it to mail our phone to. We received a phone back about 10 days later. It was shattered and I am fairly certain it is the same phone, not repaired, not replaced but broken. I have called to report this and have currently been on hold for 35 minutes. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them and in the meanime we have been without this phone for 2 months now. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!

We bought a Samsung front load washer and dryer 31/2 years ago. The washer started to make a funny noise so we had the washer checked out... going to cost close tho 1000. 00 dollars to repair. The washer does approximately 3 loads of wash a week, not happy at all! Two years ago we remodeled our Florida home and bought all samsung products for the house,[washer, dryer, stove, refer, dishwasher and microwave] after 13 months, the dryer cost me 200.00 for repairs. Once again, NOT HAPPY! I will never recommend samsung products to anyone, EVER!

I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone. Except for a keyboard that is too sensitive on both. I like the devices. However, I have been an Apple person for 4 years. I decided to try these. They are fine, but I will go back to Apple when down with two year contract. Here are reasons:
1. No cloud that restores the tablet or phone to the settings, applications, emails, and placement of apps on screen pages like Apple. You also get 5 gigs free and minimal to add more. It backs up minimally. Only Google back up and you have to replace the apps to where you had them.
2. You can get their extended warranty on phone only, if you have only certain carriers. And no extended warranty on tablets regardless.
3. Customer care is horrible.

So, I will be going back to Apple in future. Paula from Minnesota

I have a new Samsung dryer (1 year) and the lint basket in front allows all kinds of items to slide down into the bottom of the machine. This causes it to make a grinding noise. Once I had a service person come and he found coins and again I am having noise. I used all kinds of contraptions to clean out under the lint basket and there is still a noise and Samsung will not honor the warrantee unless I pay to have a professional appliance person level the machine. (It was hooked up by Best Buy and an appliance person was here previously) I am disappointed with the machine and Samsung.

I would never recommend Samsung to anyone. Their customer service is one of the worse i have ever dealt with. I bought i high end dryer from Sears in January 2016. The dryer never worked at its best and i read the manual a few times to be sure i wasn't the problem, finally in March i called Sears and they said Samsung would not allow them to service their product, so i call them a week ago and find out that you must be in front of the dryer giving the customer service person the model and series information as they run diagnostics by phone. They then asked me to get behind the machine and clean the vent, excuse me, i am not a technician nor am i being paid to do their job. They then said they would have a supervisor call me within 24-48 hours to resolve the problem. A week later, i call them back and i receive the same treatment and then told to call a technician based in Farmingdale Long Island to set up an appointment to service my dryer in CT. I bought this in Danbury CT, 10 miles from my house, why are they sending me to their closest servicing group based in Long Island. Sounds like they have really bad relationships and I will be calling American Express to get my money back and buy a real washer and dryer from a credible company.

Samsung multi oven
March 28, 2016

Smart intelligent cooking not the case with the Samsung oven I purchased from AO in January this year, it failed in February it took Samsung almost 3 weeks to fix it, however the first time I used it failed again the engineer explained he did not have the time to check a full cycle which I could understand and accepted, it is clear to me there is a design problem with this model because it was quickly taken out of the market, and although Samsung have offered to send the engineer back to look at it, I no longer have any confidence in the product or Samsung, It may surprise Samsung that I cook very evening not once every 3 weeks, it now has 3 months warranty left and will be placed on Ebay free to the first to collect, have now plugged in the oven I replace with the Samsung and hope it lasts another 12 years it is a shame Sanyo no longer make ovens. Looks like I cannot submit without giving a star rating so there we are reluctantly 1 star not worth that

I bought a 600l fridge from ARCEE electronics in vashi, 2 years ago. Now that's a very high end product in the fridge segment costing upwards of ******* rs. Within one year, the gas leaked and I was asked to pay Rs2000 towards its service. Exactly one year later, it again happened and this time the compressor also malfunctioned.
The service after that was even more pathetic. In spite of the complaint escalating to the Delhi office, and repeated calls from me to the call centre, nothing was done. They are only interested in selling the products which are all substandard, and have no replacement parts in a city as big as Mumbai.
Can you imagine in an era where on line companies send you an entire fridge via courier in 2 days, these people say it takes 10 days to ship parts FROM THEIR OWN WARE HOUSE...
In short, SAMSUNG STINKS!

AVOID THE GALAXY S6 AT ALL COSTS! This phone is absolute garbage and Samsung's repair service is even worse. I bought the S6 in July after having been a long time customer, but will never buy another Samsung phone after the experiences I have had with this phone and the company. In December the phone stopped charging so I took it to Samsung in New York. They replaced the phone because the battery is built in and they couldn't fix it. Not even 3 months later, my phone starts telling me that it is too hot/cold to charge. I take it to the Samsung repair center here in Texas and after a 3 hour wait they tell me they can't do anything about it because the motherboard is the problem. Well guess what. They then take the phone from you (which leaves you with no device because they don't have loaners), ship it back to Samsung, who then ships it back to the store, and after the week that has passed they now take 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS to repair it before you can get your phone back! What a load of garbage! The phone was $750, but isn't worth a tenth of that price. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN. I will never buy another Samsung product. At least with Apple you can take it to the store and get a replacement right away.

I have to commend Metin from the Samsung store at Highpoint Shopping Centre in Maribyrnong. Vic.
From the beginning, I thought this would be the same old experience as i had already waited another half hour over my appointment time... And then I met Metin, who began with a genuine apology for the wait. Wow, who apologizes for anything these days?
Then after 2 and a half hours of listening testing and checking without any feeling of taking up his time, he had total fixed all my smart phone issues including a new battery and reloading all my data and contacts etc onto a new phone, without any question and blame session we have come to expect when things go wrong technically. My faith has been restored and even more wonderfully Metin did it all leaving me feeling it was his genuine pleasure to have helped. What an asset to any customer service team he is.

Samsung stopped software updates for my Samsung smart phone bought 3 years ago so many apps don't work.

Samsung stopped software updates for my Samsung smart phone Galaxy Discovery bought 3 years ago. It's still on a very dated Android 4.0 so many apps cannot be installed or updated; in fact there's been no software update since mid 2012! According to CSRs at Samsung Contact Center, that's their business strategy to limit updates so to force customers to buy new phones. One rep even said 'that's how Samsung stays in business... do you know how many new phones Samsung released in the last 6 months'. Samsung only cares about profit not consumer rights; I bought a smart phone and nobody told me it would become a 'dumb' phone after 3 years. A word of caution: all Samsung smart phones have a maximum lifespan of THREE years only and they will NOT update OS ONE year after your phone purchase!.

Samsung's excuse was 'hardware limitation'. Extensive online resources point out it's up to the cellphone manufacturer to develop and release new OS versions to existing phones, nothing to do with 'hardware'. Samsung is doing exactly the opposite of what they should do to force new sales. Very insidious business strategy! Stay away unless you want a 'dumb' phone after 1 year!

PENGATE CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT PENGATE After much research I've concluded that Samsung intentionally released a architecturally flawed note 5 phone for the sole purpose of creating repair revenue to offset their plummeting stock value at the expence of non-tech. Savvy American citizens. This is not capitalism this is USURY they did not do this in s. Korea where this company is from and sells their own Phones. They do it only in countries they've concluded that their customers would be willing to pay for this type of repair. I'm not a lawyer, but the last time I looked there is a law concerning this, its called THEFT BY DECEPTION and USURY which are both illegal in this (U.S.A.) country. If anyone wants to get reimbursed for being duped as I do, please leave your review and some information on this page concerning your experience. My intentions are to start a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. I will check this site often and in the meantime we'll talk to a lawyer about creating an online petition for the purpose of a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. SINCERELY, MARK S.

I ordered a Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch from this website in December 15,2015 as an anniversary gift from my husband. It is now February and the only reason I'm waiting is because of a $100 promo which could only be redeemed from samsung.com. I have placed 2 other calls (waited 25 minutes for each) to check on the status with no luck. Today I called but this time pretended to place a new order. As soon as she said that this item is available and is ready to ship, I brought up my order number from 2 months ago and immediately she said it is on backorder! I'm starting to feel as if they put orders purchased with a deal at the end of the line. And the customer service representative spoke so condescending and REFUSED to transfer the call over to a supervisor whom I wanted to talk to about the site's FAQs saying, "backorders usually ship within a week" well hell it's been 2 months now. Either way, I am a very frustrated customer and I will NEVER EVER order from Samsung.com EVER AGAIN. My disappointment on Samsung's direct website made me even think of switching to Apple instead. Totally ridiculous.

DO NOT ORDER FROM SAMSUNG.COM. The customer service is horrible and that is after being on hold for over an hour. I've already had to call 3 times and have waited that long each time. Also, their site does not tell you if an item is back ordered the take your money and then tell you it's back ordered. I ordered a Samsung gear VR for Christmas. Then was told it was back ordered. I called and no estimate as to when it would ship. Promised a call within 3-4 days for an estimated shipping date that I never received. Checked their website and it still showed back ordered. I called again to cancel my order and waited on hold 1 hr and 20 min. Then I was told that the order was cancelled and I would receive an email in 3 days. I then ordered the product from Amazon. Then 3 days later (the same day my Amazon order arrived) I received a box from Samsung with the order that I had cancelled. Now their website still shows that the product is back ordered, my account showed that the product was pending shipping and back ordered, no tracking number was received, no notification at all prior to receiving the order (which I had canceled). Then I had to call and sit on hold for an hour again because now I have 2 and they won't accept returns unless you call first and have them send out shipping labels. Oh and when I called their system still shows a pending order cancellation and that the product is back ordered because apparently their ordering center and warehouse do not communicate at all, but of course they had no problem taking my money. Do yourself a favor and order from Amazon or Bestbuy. You'll save yourself so much time and money by avoiding this site.
