Important Notice: Samsung UK's Unfair Return Policy!

Attention, everyone: Be aware that Samsung UK charges a 20% fee on returned devices—essentially a "handling fee" that, in many cases, costs hundreds of pounds. In my experience, they charged me a shocking £160 just for unboxing and returning a device. This is not only outrageous but could also be in violation of consumer rights in the UK.

Samsung seems unwilling to comply with fair return practices, which is why I'm sharing this to warn others. Consider this carefully before purchasing from them. Let's hold companies accountable for their treatment of customers!

I bought a high-end Samsung laptop with the manufacturer warranty. The laptop's audio suddenly stopped working altogether only 3 months after, so I contacted Samsung warranty claim which led me to their text customer support service. This service was the biggest waste of time I could've ever done. I had to re-explain 6 times with 6 different customer support technicians the problem and had to sit through their super basic repair suggestions like, "make sure your audio is turned on." After a week of texting with these support members and begging them to give me the information of a in person service center, the number for the service center they gave me was no longer in service. Samsung refuses to honor my warranty and sends me through goose chase after goose chase just to waste my time and save themselves from buying me a replacement laptop. NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG DEVICE.

My recent interaction with Samsung's delivery service left much to be desired. Despite anticipation, my order failed to arrive within the expected timeframe. Samsung stove

Hi I bought a Samsung stove from home Depot 2 month ago there is a sharp metal on the back of stove couple times we had bleeding when we clean the stove I went back to home Depot they told me there's a part missing to cover the sharp part you have to contact Samsung and The screen some time is not showing anything I emailed a Samsung couple times they are ignoring me it's not fair to pay $1000 for damage stove I'm going to tell everyone at work and my community never buy anything from Samsung The customer service is zero never again.don't buy anything from Samsung they are useless

To cut a long story short: in November last year I bought through their online store their flagship mobile phone, Galaxy S23 Ultra for EUR 1199. It either came with a damaged screen or the damage appeared while charging overnight (there are several reviews out there of users to whom this happened). In any case customer service told me to return it.
I am saving you the details of the very chaotic process for the return, contradictory indications from customer service and different courier companies involved. In any case we managed at the end. However, I never received my reimbursement. Only after me contacting them they told me that they did not accept my return because the phone was damaged (?!) They even accused me that I had dropped the phone. So upfront, also avoiding the use of warranty. Then, to get my damaged phone back, they told me, that I had to do the arrangements and pay courier to get it from Spain!
By the way, phone came back with more damage (the side of it got rubbed) and paradoxically my credit card insurance did not pay, because I did NOT drop the phone and responsibility is with Samsung!
At the end, after a complaint, they apologised and to compensate they offered me to reimburse the courier costs, 47 EUR + they would send me a gadget of my choice (a charger or earbuds) + 15% discount voucher.
So following their instructions I sent them my bank details for the reimbursement and address to receive the offers, early January 2024. Of course, noting so far. Multiple reminders through their customer service E-mail remain without reply.
My next step, a complaint through the official national website. Then to my surprise Samsung closed the complaint arguing "treated/under analysis". This was at the beginning of April. What has to be analysed so much? They simply did not pay neither sent the promised product!
Their strategy seems clearly ignoring. My impression is that they have been manipulating and LYING and that their policy is NOT paying anything. It is unbelievable: I never had such an experience with any company, especially a big multinational like this. Even Aliexpress offers better conditions/service, they do not lie and move around in circles.
I mean, after all: at first making me return the product, then not accepting the return, making me to get it back and then on top after their (false?) promise not even reimbursing EUR 50 on a purchase of EUR 1,190, I call this dishonest, stingy and miserable.
People, for your well-being STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!

Poor Customer Service

I bought a Samsung Note 20 Ultra about 3 years ago and had a great experience. However this year I bought the Galaxy 24 Ultra and traded in my device. I noticed Feb 4th that I accidentally clicked the wrong phone to trade in (Z-Fold) but both credits were the same $400. I called customer service that same day and they said this was okay that they would still give me the credit if the device was eligible. On Mar 17 they said they could not accept my order. At first they said the device didn't qualify, and then they said it wouldn't boot. I sent them proof of both being false. Now I am having to return the phone so I can re-order it and go through the whole process again to get a credit for the trade in which will take more than a week. Very poor customer service.

Deleted photos

Been using Samsung for years and I had photos throughout the years, suddenly all my photos (taken by phone not shared through other apps) were deleted except for the last week. They were NOT deleted by me and yes I checked the trash and they aren't there. And NO they have not been removed completely by me because all other stuff previously deleted by me is still in the trash! I mean thousands of photos. I take a lot of pictures. And all they could say is "We cannot help, your only is backup if you have". No responsibility taken... nothing! What stupid service is this?! I could rate them lower if I could. Whether I have them backed up or not you can not just shrug away issues clearly not caused by the user

Terrible terrible disgraceful service from Samsung. Placed an order for £1600 monitor which supposed to be new but they send a used unit. They took my existing monitor for recycling. Their incompetent customer service stated if we ask for exchange it will take 7-10 days AFTER their warehouse recieve the unit and since I have no monitor any longer, this was not acceptable. We asked for a refund and they said 7-10 days after they collect the unit. 2 weeks on, they still have not issued a refund stated they want THEIR courier to return the monitor to THEIR warehouse which they have not as yet. Absolute puppet customer service who simply repeat the same sentence again and again...disgrace from the worlds leading electronic manufacturer

I ordered 4 appliances on 2/15/24.
Samsung promised all installation
Delivered on 2/26. Installation date is 2/27/24
Unfortunately they never contacted me. I called them at least 20 times for installation service
But they didn't care at all.
Now 3/8/24 it passed 12 days already
I think they just sell products. That's it.
Don't buy anything from Samsung.
This company is scammer.

Ordered a FHD monitor. Received a terrible one. Far Far from being HD.
Support service was nothing else than a big jocke. Spent 2 times 30 minutes with them and they haven't asked me one single pertinent question. They were just asking for more time to ''enter the case'' but they had nothing to enter since they had not asked anything about my product or my problem!
Have already called twice to return the product and I,m still waiting for my ticket.
I will Never buy a Samsung product again!

NEVER BUY SAMSUNG

Please never buy samsung products. They customer service is awful. My appliances were delivered 4 days ago and they have not scheduled the agreed upon installation. They contract out their installation services to RXO who could care less about sumsung customers. Samsung agents do not care about your dissatisfaction. They have hung up on me, transferred me, placed me on hold and still no resolution.

We literally spend $1200+ on our phones and yet Samsung (a company worth $350 BILLION) insists on downloading some kids games without even asking permission. Adults don't have time to sit around and play games because we're all working to pay off our phones and our phone plans. Yes it only takes 5 seconds to delete but the concept that they're so money hungry they don't even ask permission to download this bs is insulting, and I'm a capitalist..

I bought two phones with the "pre order discount " after I noticed my credit card was charged more than it was listed for. I called up the samsung customer service number to speak to someone in India, which they said no problem call back when you get the phone and we'll refund you. I did that today and now they said they can't honor the price, 3 hours on the phone for them to make up reasons to not refund you. What a waste of time,please people buy an iPhone better, that company actually respects people! I'm returning the 3 phones I purchased and throwing out anything samsung I have at my house!

The bad customer service experience...
I have been 2 days called so someone can help me, but no one cares. No one helps...

I ordered s24 ultra, and it should have been delivered yesterday (01/29), but it didn't delivered because NO ONE AT HOME When Ups showed up and the driver couldn't leave the package because the signature required its ok.

I called Ups to see if I could go to the UPS facility, and I picked up my phone.they said no because the sender ( Samsung)was not allowed to pick it up from any the store. Only delivery to home his bad idea from Samsung the customer can't change the pick up.
I working and my wife working.
I told ups and Samsung customer service this mean I have take all day off and stay at home until the driver fell free to delivery my package.
Do you think is making any sense.
I always got email from Ups showed delivery time from 4:15pm to 8:15 pm he always come early.

I called Samsung customer service no anyone understands, and they can help me.
I called today 3 times (1/30):
1st one hung up the phone after 10 minutes of taking.
2nd one I asked for supervisor she put me in hold for 40 minutes after that I transferred to Technicians support.
3rd one, I will send you an email after 2 or 3 hours. The supervisor will call you.

I got tired and ups show in email Delivery time between 4pm to 8pm and he always come so early before this time.

I have been 14 years with samsung. I ordered everything from Samsung I been a lottery for Samsung, but after today, it has very bad customer service.

I know they do not care, and there is no one going to answer about the comment.

I guess this time to change to apple (i phone).
I heard they have the best customer service.

I have bought many Samsung appliances. I recently purchased a microwave and it died. Customer service took 2 1/2 weeks to respond by sending a repair tech 150 miles to my home to fix it. A week later, on Christmas morning it died. I made multiple calls and sent emails. As of today, January 25,2024, it is not remedied. I am awaiting ANOTHER repair as they'd rather spend hundreds to repair than to replace. Most importantly, they could care less that a customer is without a microwave for several weeks. Never again.

Samsung support agents are the worst. They constantly transfer you to a new person cause no one knows what they're talking about. Then you have to re-explain your problem over and over again.

You'll get completely different answers form different people. They always jump to extreme solutions. One agent tried to send a tech to my house for an issue after literally not even attempting trouble shooting steps at all. Another told me to return my entire phone for a new one because I couldn't find one thing in settings. They're just trying to cost you $$

Replies are usually 10 or more minutes apart. Issues are almost never solved. Most agents don't seem to care about your problem and don't even apologize for ghosting you for a half hour straight or giving you the incorrect link.

Extremely dissatisfied customer
