I love to watch the Roku Channel. I have it on all day for my clients to watch. The only bothersome thing, is the Martha Stewart commercials. I don't understand why? Especially with her past. Makes me not want to cut it off each time the commercial comes on.

Roku is the biggest piece of crap I have ever owned…I have the element roku tv…so sad element was a great tv made in america I have several of them but after this crap, I will never buy another element tv again…if you are considering buying roku, don't …run run run…from the aggressive platform with tons of glitches pure crap…every time they do an update to fix the previous problems that arose with the previous update you just end up with new issues…just crap…so for a while now I cannot see local programming schedule if the tv is connected to the internet…?...yup…so now with the last update I cant even see my local channels only roku's channel 115…so I re-scanned for over the air channels and as usual every channel roku has is now on my feed again…(this happens anytime you scan for over the air…roku forces you to spend the next 30 minutes un-checking hundreds of channels you don't want nor asked for) so just to see I blocked roku tv at my router and like magic when the internet disconnects the local over the channels can be accessed and have the programming schedule…so they fixed the problem with the over the air channels by making them completely inaccessible if you are connected to the internet….so now the only way I can watch local over the air is to disconnect the internet….just garbage…pure garbage.

Poor fit and alignment of parts especially when attaching one subassembly to another subassembly.
I've built two models so far. One area of the design used spur gears to act as bevel gears which resulted in rough meshing/binding of the gear teeth. Poor design choice!

Don't buy a Roku if you have ANY other devices that you want to communicate with your modem/router. You cannot turn off the connection and Roku will attempt to charge you for their "expert" service to tell you how to permanently disconnect from the modem/router. Anyone want a 32 inch Roku? You can have mine. I will never purchase Roku again.

I recently ordered a 2nd roku device and noticed after checkout that my apt number was not included in the shipping address. I scoured their website for a way to change it and couldn't. Finally after googling how to reach them I found a number for support and called. I spoke with 6 different people after each one said sorry cant help you and transferred me to the next person. I asked if I could just cancel the order and reorder. No. I was told I could not cancel the order once it was processed. The final solution was for them to create a second order with the correct address and send it free of charge. The original order with the incorrect address and already paid for will be delivered or returned to them. Now, I want to correct the shipping address in my online account for future orders. Again, can't be done by anyone providing support for roku. Can't be done on their website. Half a dozen different conversations in which I had to spell out my email every time. That such a simple change cannot be made either on the website or by anyone in the billing or support departments is ridiculous. Really FRUSTRATING.

I have a Roku TV but after 2 years, I'm now unable to stream anything from the Roku channel. I just get a black screen. Streaming from the mobile app is broke, too. Only receiving playback error messages. Customer support is nice but still can't get the channel to work after a week. It sounds like they banned my account or blocked my IP address but I can't image for what reason. The Roku channel is free. Just stay away from their products and services. It's garbage.

After 2 years it started overheating to the point that the support pages stated it's a hazard. Nothing worked when troubleshooting it and support says but another one. I HATE being scammed and Roku is a scam. Don't waste you $$.

Roku update failed resulting in soild purple screen. Customer service phone number says to leave message and that Roku response may be significantly delayed and/or that Roku may choose to not respond to your voicemail at all.?

You'll be spammed with a remote control battery icon ever 5 seconds. You'll do all the troubleshooting you can find. The best advice I saw was to wrap the remote in aluminum foil when not using

Unauthorized charges

I canceled my subscription April 26,2023 to FOX NATION, and Roku states I am still responsible for paying for an entire year for a channel I am not using. I asked for credit towards purchasing another Roku subscription but was denied.
My complaint and request for credit were denied and listed as resolved. They keep saying refund. I am not asking for a refund. Roku customer service is nonexistant. See below.

I've had a roku tv for a while now and I've always noticed that all the roku apps are extremely slow and crash all the time. And now the roku tv can't even connect to wifi at all not matter what I try.

The Roku device is great for streaming content the only problem with the Roku stick is there's one huge bug that is unacceptable.

That bug is that when there is an issue with Roku being able to connect with the network and the internet the entire Roku device locks up and freezes for a considerable length of time.

Seeing that potential network errors or network speed issues would be a common problem that occurs frequently this is absolutely unacceptable programming practices.

The people that wrote the code behind the software that runs the Roku stick handled the event related to network problems in a horrible manner that causes the device to freeze up and stop working.

Just really bad horrible computer programming practices!

As an active duty military member who travels for a living, I can honestly say this is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I used Roku in my barracks on base and had the worst experience. Every time I would call the customer service line, they had nothing to say besides "it must be your WIFI".

After living in eight different countries, and stayed in over 50 different hotels I can tell you, this company is absolute trash.

Their products are completely low grade with no troubleshoot capabilities at all. If something goes wrong the chances of there being an actually fix are slim to none.

I continuously have issues connecting my Roku to hotel networks. I continuously have issues connecting my Roku to my own house network. And if you go online and really dig deep, you'll see people have had the same issues for YEARS and there is still no fix. The way they fix it? A computer responds with a generic answer which clearly doesn't address the issue at hand.

"Please look at the following link". And the link directs you to basically a manual on how to operate the product. Yes. We know how to operate the product, we are having an ISSUE, assist your customers with the ISSUE.

Please head my warning and avoid any product at all costs.

I spent too much time on this company and immediately switched over to a different company. (yes it Rhymes with Clamzon Wire Flick). And it's the best decision I have ever made.

Good bye Roku, your terrible products and ever worse customer service will have your company out of here faster than Blockbuster.

It's not free it's BS. If you want HBO Showtime Disney, you have to pay a monthly fee. I already have cable in Netflix. I thought I could get all those other premium stations for free through this you cannot what good is it garbage

My 75" roku tv is 21/2 years old. It started awhile ago when I turn on the tv, the screen turns black. Sometimes it would happen, other times it started fine. Now, every time I turn it on I have to shut it off & on several times before the picture stays lit. I've unplugged it, bought a new cable & reset it, but the problem keeps getting worse. I'm ready to smash the piece of Junk!,,,

Do not give up your cable service!

Comcast costs a LOT, so we switched to Roku. After a month all 4 of our Roku devices failed, all at the same moment! (What'swith that?!) I contacted Roku "support" (hard to find and almost nonexistent, only accessiblevia email). They took DAYS to respond, and after more days finally agreed to replace the devices. That took WEEKS! Now, after another week or so, the new devices also failed. If you give up cable service for Roku, you may go without tv service long-term! Don't do it!
