I installed Restoro in Jan 2022 and it seemed to help. Quicker response time, found and cured (?) several faults. Then it stopped. After doing a laptop scan, I instructed it to make repairs. When it gets to 40% of the repair, "halted unexpectedly..." happens. Searched Restoro.com and about 50 other problems were listed by users without solutions. Not ready for prime time. $41 down the tubes.
I used Restoro several times and it really did speed up my pc. However, during the repair process my Avast anti virus kept flagging and stopping 2 "malware" programs (Native. Exe and one other).
Thinking that Avast was being over protective I shut Avast down and Ran restoro again - BIG MISTAKE!
My PC locked up and I had no mouse or keyboard controls.
Powered PC off and on, same result PC just locked up even when trying starting in Safe mode.
Ended up taking PC to repair shop, The technician just grinned when I mentioned Restoro. He has had dozens of this same complaint, he had to clean my "C" drive and re-install Windows.
Cost me $180 and several days trying to get my PC back to where I liked it.
Restoro refunded my purchase cost and told me they had their own techs working on a solution to this problem

I purchased the 27.95 plan but then I was Told I needed to buy the $300 plan to "fix" the problems I was having with my computer freezing. After dealing with their "technicians" for more than a week, they realized they counldn't fix it and so I was offered the $27.95 back plus only $200 of the $300 back. They are difficult to work with and a complete waste of time. I would not recommend them period.

I purchased RESTORO for $120.oo, although their website only charges $82.00. This was for a new computer. Then almost a year later, after I purchased their program, I get this nasty text on my phone stated if I do not contact them, I will be charged $249.99 for an "auto-renewal," more than double the previous charge, of which I declined when I first purchased the program. The 'subscription' was supposed to be still valid for another year or so, and I sent them this email of theirs, and they responded they had no clue what I was inquiring about, but they continued wanting more money immediately long before the subscription was ever up. I sent them their own email receipt as proof that the subscription was valid and had not expired.
There is NO customer service, - except when they want money! That will be the only human interaction you will ever receive. The phone numbers listed on their website are automated, but NO human interaction. After a long hold, you will be hung up upon, if answered. The phone numbers that are listed on their email, which is different than what is posted on their website, is readily answered by humans wanting more money!
Their text reads as follows:
"Dear customer,
Thank you for being a part of our computer software company with RESTORO SUPPORT.
This call is regarding for your computer subscription which got expired and it will be auto renew for $ 249.99.
If you wish to cancel the subscription kindly contact within one working day on *******732 / +1 *******506.
Once you get charge of the amount after that it will not possible to refund that amount.

Their phone numbers are totally useless. No one answers them, and only one number actually picks up. If you get through on only one of the numbers, the automated machine answering will leave you on hold for a lengthy time, then hang up on you. It's the ole, "Don't call us, we'll call you,... when we want more money!"
I would not recommend this RESTORO or its program.
Tried this and not only did it NOT fix anything at all, it caused more problems, and only an uninstall of the useless software and then a Windows re-install could get things working again. Tried for a refund but had no response after multiple attempts so gave up (ZERO customer service). Now... one year on, I get an email proving I was right to do make them inactive on PayPal - an automatic renewal in a few weeks! Rip-off! The only way to actually cancel this (hopefully) it seems is to login to Paypal and click the paddle link at the bottom of the receipt. If cancellation is anywhere else in their emails or website it's hidden better than a black cat in a coal mine! 100% worst software experience in more than 20 years of computing experience.

I ran Restoro on 24/02 for the first time. It found a load of issues. I clicked on each set and it said they were fixed. On 25/02 I received a message from Restoro saying there had been a malware attack on my pc & suggested I do a scan. I did. Curiously it seemed to identify all the issues from the day before.
Today (27/02) I received a message from Restoro that many items of malicious code had infected my browser. I used Bitdefender and M/S Malicious Software Removal Tool to scan my pc. No trace of any malware was found. I have uninstalled Restoro - I have no confidence in it whatsoever.

I've used to Restoro to fix my Windows PC. Restoro delete some of my personal files without asking. The recover feature was not able to recover my files!
I have contacted customer support several times, but I never got any response! They do not know what they are doing! Do not buy/use Restoro!

I fell for it about a year ago when my computer was crawling. Free turned into $40, which then turned into them wanting $200. I trust my pc repair guy, so when he didn't find any corrupted files like Restoro did, I know they were full of it. They just called wanting to access my computer, saying they were going to charge me $300 if I didn't allow them to access and remove software. Even though I got email confirmation of cancelling with them 10 months ago.

What they don't tell you when purchasing the software is that you have to call in to activate your software. Then they try to gain access to your computer thru remote software. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO DO THIS BECAUSE THEY WILL BE HACKING YOUR COMPUTER! I just reported them to my credit card company and I urge you to do the same if you have given them your credit card info!

The software is good but limited. The problem I had with software was Tech was constantly trying to sell me extras like Geek squad, and others. They were limited in there knowledge. To much know it all when I suggest better ideas. You buy and you are own your own.

The program, Restoro, did what it was avertised to do. But the representative tried very hard and repeatedly to have a technician deal with "warnings." (On the most right column, it said, "None." meaning nothing must be done.)
Subsequently I went to another expert, who told me they were normal and not to worry about them, saving me $199 that Restoro wanted to charge for removing them. BTW, as soon as rep realized I was not buying and while I was talking to her, she hung-up.

Restoro will only show you guys which the problem, even if you press start repair it will don't do anything, and some will call you to activate your account and tell you that you have lots of problem in your laptop or pc which needs to be fix manually, they will access your laptop by team viewer or other similar app, and Insist you to buy $499 pancake for 1 year, if you denied that then they will give you other offers.
But App is the garbage, since yesterday I was able to use my laptop, and this morning it's not even start up, only showing blank screen.
Please please do not wear your money, rather buy some antivirus which is known.

I just would like to inform the public of their Modus Operandi when they try to fix your computer, apart from asking you to pay, they will instruct you the following: 1) open your computer and type in (anydesk.com) or (logmein123). 2) once you do that they now have total access and control of your computer. I have been scammed repeatedly and emptied all my bank accounts in my laptop by sending money to themselves over and over again. And they also bought Bitcoin using my Identity and using my money. 3) They often use a web-based phone number which can be found on TXTNOW. 4) When you complain, they are quick to apologize and promise to reimburse you by logging in to your computer again only to steal more. Please don't be a victim like me. They are so evil and don't care about your situation or humanity.

I bought Restoro software hoping to fixed my blue screen issue. It never did. Last resort, I rebooted to factory settings my entire windows 10. And back to normal. Then i download restoro again since i paid for it so why waste it. And guess what. Blue screen! Deleted Restoro altogether and last 3 months was amazing. No more issues. So my conclusion, Restoro cannot solve my Bluescreen issue as what they claim. For fairness, maybe it is only for windows 10.

I had two specific issues, one with outlook and one with restoring my desktop. I was told it would solve both issues - it solved neither - worse it erased all my setting and erased all my passwords and now my snipping tool does not work - do not buy!

Let me start with this edit I made the day after my experience, Restoro did refund the full purchase price of the software, it was back in my bank account within 24 hours. My experience: I downloaded and paid for this tool because it had been recommended in what seemed to be a reputable problem solving guide. I ran the tool and it failed to complete the run and did nothing to fix my "windows 10 not starting" problem. I had called to activate the program, as was suggested on the website, but when I heard there would be a wait I decided to just enter the key myself. I picked up the phone to call the 1800 number for help as it was included in my purchase and saw that Restoro had called me back twice in the 30 minutes it had taken to run the program. I called the 1800 number and proceeded to explain what had happened. The chap on the phone didn't seem to be listening to a word I was saying and seemed to be reading notes as when he repeated himself he would use the exact words each time regardless of what I had just said. I, probably foolishly, allowed him remote access to the laptop and he proceeded to run the program again, while it was running he opened event viewer and brought up the error list. There where thousands of errors, which I should add is completely normal but he said he had never seen a computer with so many errors (the laptop had 40 odd thousand errors, the desktop I am typing this on which is running perfectly shows 60 odd thousand errors when you look at the event viewer) and he suggested I speak to one of their engineers who might be able to fix the problems but it would take a long time and was not covered by the original purchase. At this point I knew it was a scam, although I didn't say that, and politely said I would just like to get my money back. When I asked for my money back he became very aggressive and raised his voice and started saying I rang them for help so I mustn't know what I am doing and there is no way to fix the laptop without their help. Then I suggested that I had backed the laptop up just before the problem started so what if I did a fresh install of windows 10 and then restored my files from the backup. To this he said I wouldn't be able to do that and when I asked him why he said that he wasn't going to help me anymore and hung up. The purchase came with a money back guarantee and I have asked for my money back so I'll wait and see what happens. I will post if the money is returned.
