I am currently trying to get a recovery on a very shocking dealing with Remax Northern California, the agent committed fraud. I am out so much money and there was an unfixed kitchen sink leak not fixed. Agent never allowed me access to the home and told me after the seller moved out I would, then the agent no showed on the days on my keys. So much damage was hidden and Remax is fighting me tooth and nail. Grand versus Remax.

Ashley Almeida
May 22, 2022

I hired Ashley Almeida out of east providence Rhode Island an she was horrible. All it was about for her was making a quick sale and she didn't listen to any of my ideas or what exactly I was looking for. Lastly she couldn't stop talking on her cell phone not a good way to conduct business! Fired her immediately

Bottom Feeders
April 2, 2022

My son 25 year old son was brutally murdered and I received a letter from Eric stein in ill form. Making a distasteful attempt to empathize with my pain my saying he knows what I am going through because Ihe has gone through it. I truly hope he never does.

I don't even want to give them one star
November 30, 2021

Terrible, terrible, company that gives 0 $#*!s about you. The house that we rented has squirrels in the roof which they were well aware of prior to us renting it. We asked them to fix this months before we moved in and now 3 months into renting the problem is still unsolved. We've had 3 different washing machines now (first two broke and the third one they gave us is $#*!ty and gross). Oh and when we opened the first one it was just filled with sewage water. There's mice and cockroaches, obviously the house isn't up to code. When they called pest control for us all they did was put traps in the kitchen and left, they claimed they would fix the squirrel problem said there was a hole in the roof but they still haven't done anything. The basement flooded shortly after we moved in, I don't even remember why with all these other $#*!ing problems. Toilets have trouble flushing time to time and some lights aren't working anymore. Heat was broken and it took 2 weeks for them to even come out and fix it, house was $#*!ing freezing. They also replaced our dishwasher recently cause it broke which took them a solid week and a half to get somebody out here yo even look at it.

But the absolute worst thing is there is 0 transparency. They won't let you contact the landlord ever to fix any of these problems you have to go through their portal which takes days to get anybody out to fix $#*!. The only solace we've had is this dude named Tom who works for them, he claims this doesn't happen with other houses. I wonder why they take so long to come out and fix $#*! if we're such a special case and I've come to the conclusion that it's because they don't give a $#*! about us. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM IF YOU CAN. If I had the means I would sue the $#*! out of these mother $#*!ers but I'm just some broke $#*! college kid and that's how they take advantage of you.

Best Realtor Ever
November 4, 2021

In a day and time when people seem to just look out for themselves Cara Irvine is a Remax realtor that is quite the exception! Not only does she look out for the buyer but she also is honest and doesn't just say what someone wants to hear. For example, instead of saying a home is worth a lot more than it is worth just to get the listing, she will be honest and say what the value actually is based on the research she has done! She did this for a property that my family had for sale and we appreciated it so much! It helped us get the property sold quickly instead of it being on the market for a long period of time. We highly recommend her!

Paul helped us through the sale of our waterfront home by providing great information, always keeping us informed, advocating for us, and offering wise counsel. He is honest and fair and we could not recommend him higher to others who are buying or selling their homes.

Facts: We made an offer on a property, which was accepted. So, following the RE/MAX Buyers Guide, the next step was to pay for the inspection. There is no mention in that Guide or somewhere else about the possibility to lose the property at this point, and, as consequences, to lose the money on the inspection. My husband & I are new in New York and first buyers. We lost the property because someone made a better offer after we paid for the inspection. I'm wondering how much money we will lose that way? There is no law to protect consumers in New York State?

Matt Parks shady realtor
October 15, 2021

Matt is very shady… shady… shady! He takes an investor to with him to list a property that is being sold bc the owner past and the kids have to sell for nursing home fees. So he was dual agent, we offered full price and his investor offered 1000$ more…. Hmmm how funny…. He never even listed the house on any sites for others to see, bc he knew it would bring a lot more offers. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Oh and did I say I had 2 other realtors try to get the house info from him and he told both he didn t have it ready.

Recently we went to Wilmington Delaware to rent a townhouse from this remax realtor Named
Anne Menaquale, Associate Broker, Re/Max, this lady is pure Racist and has no intention of helping people of color. We wasted our time and money. This racist woman didn't even bother to process our application and took our SSN and everything. She gave us a lame excuse that she has another client.
This reality is racist with capital R, so don't waste your time and money. I am adding one more star to their list of achievements.

Re/Max Best sold me the house without the disclosure that it had 18 dead trees. I paid full price and now have to pay another 11K to remove the trees. I requested prior to closing to fix the tree issue, but it was intentionally left without attention. When I contacted the realty owner she said that will help with this on exchange that I will remove bad reviews on them and will sign an agreement not to post any negative reviews. I think that most of the good reviews they have are fake because they getting rid of the negative ones. This is not reliable company and would never recommend them to anyone.

Andrew Williams
June 21, 2021

The agent who assisted in selling our house in Brampton was Mr. Andrew Williams. The house was sold on June 14/ 2021 and was on the market for 5 days only. It was sold well over the asking price! This success can in a great measure be assigned to the works of Mr. Williams. He was very thorough, provided good advice and conducted his business with the utmost professionalism. We would strongly recommend the services of Andrew Williams to any family looking to sell or buy a real estate property.

She is amazing, really took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for and was very patient with us. I would HIGHLY recommend Nahid Maradi to everyone, you won't be disappointed because she is professional and very kind.

Beware
March 30, 2021

Please exercise extreme caution when using Heather Maggio, Remax Property Mgmt. We leased a home for almost two years, and she became extremely harrassive and aggressive in the last few months or our agreed to month-to-month arrangement. She pressured us to provide advance notice, then posted a notice on our front door the following demanding to show the property. She does not follow state guidelines for 24 hour entry notification and is very abusive in her demeanor, tending to prey on those she thinks can't defend themselves. Horrible experience!

I will not suggest you to work with Sylvie Beaulieu since she is not an honest agent. She only wanna sell a property and will hid the dirty derails about that property.
In addition, she will give you the verbal agreement or promesses that she will not respect.

Ms. Lisa Marie is a realtor for Re/Max located at 5560 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware *******. Ms. Davis led me to believe that we had a legitimate working realtor-client relationship. After the first afternoon we met and toured three houses, I asked if she would be willing to represent my wife and me in a real estate transaction, and she said she would be happy to do so. The problem was that the third house we toured that first afternoon, was the house I was interested in purchasing, if my wife liked it as much as I did (my wife was not available that first afternoon). Ms. Marie was willing to show my wife the third house we had toured in the next day or two, but I never heard from Ms. Marie other than a text message a few days later saying something happened that she had to take care of.
So I waited patiently for a follow-up communication. After all, her livelihood is based on earning commissions from our real estate transactions, and she had verbally committed to representing my wife and me. I assumed she would get in touch with me when her issue was resolved.
When the pandemic hit, and it slowed or halted business operations, again I assumed Ms. Marie would be even more willing to earn a commission off of my real estate transaction. But this did not occur as that third house we had toured and I was interested in purchasing sold during the pandemic. Apparently, Ms. Marie and I could have pursued this transaction or a different real estate transaction at any point during the pandemic, but she chose to be unprofessional and unethical by not communicating to tell me that she no longer chose to represent my wife and me for whatever reason she had.
To be clear Ms. Marie knew I was interested in purchasing the third house we toured and she orally agreed to represent me as a buyer that I adhered to waiting for her to continue representation. She unilaterally chose not represent me without telling me of her decision while I waited and abided by our oral agreement. Meanwhile the house I was interested in sold. Ms. Marie has been less than responsive in trying to resolve this issue.

I got robbed by Remax
September 12, 2020

A realtor, let's call him Jack Miller, offers to finance you for 3. Years till your 3.year.finance.on. House you sold completes. Once you agree to the terms, you agree and know he's making 5% interest, equaling the amount of *******. Fair investment.,(House price at 125,000. AFter waiving the important step of having an inspection, you find out the house had been lowered to 112,000. Due to the poor condition of the house, terrible paint job, updates needed and old appliances. However I was never given this information. It was suppose to be disclosed. This is fraud plain and simple. I will be contacting the state board of realtors and national realty accociation. Here I thought the guy was a saint for financing me and he was just trying to make 25% commission! And was talking about God at. Closing. Huh!
